This Week In My World
I’ve had a fantastic week!
I got my edits back from the lovely Charlotte Ledger at Harper Impulse for my second contemporary romance with them, HER PREFECT LIPS. I’m really excited to get them done!
I finished Camp NaNoWriMo! I can’t believe I actually did it. I’ve never written to word count like that before.

Dean watched Kat walk away with Ron, mesmerized by the sway of her hips. Every step she took caused her short, sparkly dress to flip up a little bit, showing off her toned thighs. A part of him that didn’t give a damn about friendship fiercely hoped that it would flip up a tiny bit higher. When it granted his wish, the flash of long legs and nylons, the hint of her garter, left him breathless.
He took a step forward, his hand extended, but stopped himself. It wouldn’t be fair to call her back, no matter how much it burned him up to watch her walk off to another man. She shrugged the date off in the cab, but they both knew that no one let Ron mess around with their love life unless they were serious about finding someone. This date was a huge opportunity for her and a gigantic step forward. He was happy for her. Really. Maybe if he told himself that enough times, he might begin to believe it.
