Here is a snippet from SINFULLY YOURS, my sexy little Mardi Gras Quickie.
“You know what my favorite part of Mardi Gras is?”
He moved closer, towering over her, dwarfing her with his size. “What’s that?”
Her gaze flicked to his mouth, then back to his eyes, and then down to his mouth again. “Getting beads.”
A slight dip of his head brought his lips close to hers. She could taste his breath—sweet alcohol, mint, and heat. “I have some pretty good ones.”
“You do.” Examining his beads was a great excuse to grope him, and she took full advantage. He was a solid wall of muscle, his chest warm and firm beneath her palms, and it wasn’t hard to locate his dog tags under his cotton T-shirt. She smiled. It was always nice to be right. There were several military bases not far from the French Quarter. Maybe he was stationed close by. Bailey bit down on her own tongue to curb that dangerous train of thought. That was not what this night was about.

Obsession
Ever since RT, I’ve been totally in love and completely obsessed with Hook from Once Upon A Time. I’ve now seen every episode of the show and I’m feeling a hole in my heart until it’s return in September. What others shows can I watch with a dashing bad boy hero?

Sunday Snippet
Here is a little taste from next release from Harper Impulse, HER PERFECT LIPS. I’m still in the first round of edits, but I’m sure it will be out soon!
Stacy followed the group back out onto Bourbon Street, seriously considering her next move. Should I stay or should I go now? She let the chorus play out in her head and in that one millisecond pause, a drunken man wearing only jeans shorts and plastic beads lunged at her from the crowd. She sidestepped around him and almost collided with a woman exiting Pat O’Briens. The woman squealed and Stacy veered off the sidewalk into the street. A group of tourists swept her away, forcing her backward along with them. She fought against the wave of bodies, but it was a losing battle. And then, out of nowhere, a hand grabbed her arm, a lifeline in the storm.
The tourists continued on their journey, but Stacy was held in place, firmly anchored by that strong grip. The hold on her arm was a little too familiar for a stranger and she wasn’t sure if she wanted to thank or berate her rescuer. She turned, and her breath caught when she recognized her savior. “Hello, Ten.”
“Hey, Stacy.”
He grinned and every single part of her tingled.
