Ray Bradbury
“If you want to write, if you want to create, you must be the most sublime fool that God ever turned out and sent rambling. You must write every single day of your life. You must read dreadful dumb books and glorious books, and let them wrestle in beautiful fights inside your head, vulgar one moment, brilliant the next. You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads. I wish you a wrestling match with your Creative Muse that will last a lifetime. I wish craziness and foolishness and madness upon you. May you live with hysteria, and out of it make fine stories — science fiction or otherwise. Which finally means, may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.”
Ray Bradbury

Blessings back to you fellow Florida author :-) Will be getting to Gut-Check Green in the next week or two - as soon as I've finished The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History, which I wish was fiction. Will send you a recommmendation if I can figure out how to do it.

Hi Maureen, thanks for accepting - and sorry I took so long to reply. Not with the program this week. Not that I usually am (: Would love to add Lethal Prescription to my list. I'll wait a while before I add the others as I have a bit of a backlog at the moment. Bestest, and have a great weekend!

Maureen Mullis Hi JP! Thank you for adding this fellow author into your circle of friends here on Goodreads. I hope you'll add my novels including the cozy mysteries (What Would Nancy Do?, Lethal Prescription), In the Company of Women, The Christmas to Remember and Finding Normal to your to-read list. I look forward to reading your book reviews and recommendations. Happy reading!

J.P. Lane Happy to share that The Tangled Web made it to the Amazon free Romantic Suspense bestsellers list this past weekend. I'm wowed by the generosity and support that was shown to me by the author community. That was as much a high point of my weekend as being on the bestsellers list. Gratitude and thanks.
