Hi Lori! Thanks for choosing my books for your club. That makes my day!
Here are some possible questions:
1. Before you read this book, had you heard of the Mormon tradition that we might be asked to walk back to Missouri some day, rather than travel in cars or planes?
2. How do you envision our world if an EMP attack took out our entire power grid? How do you envision the Church's response?
3. How would you feel if you were asked to pool your food storage with others?
4. What other ways do you think the youth of the Church could be utilized in a situation like this?
5. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you if you were a teenager asked to go on such a trek? What would be the hardest as a parent?
6. Did you know the government feels an EMP attack is quite likely?
7. After reading these books, do you feel the need to prepare differently?

Please tell your group thank you for reading my books, and I welcome any comments or questions.(less)

Margot Children's books are the best, aren't they? That's where the love of reading starts.

Daniel Margot, I got a kick out of seeing all those children's books in your list. I remember reading those to my kids too. Good luck with your books.
