Verdi's Dream makes first cut in Amazon Best New Novel contest

P.S.:  Pleased to note that Verdi's Dream made the first cut in the contest (top 1000 of 5000 entries). Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. And fingers crossed.
Read more of this blog post »

Can anyone tell me whether this incredibly funny Thurber story has ever been translated into Italian? If so , what was the title and in what collection (and title of the collection in Italian) did it appear? Thanks,

“To know ourselves we must live our lives to the bitter end, until the moment we drop into the grave. Bookwatcher Oh! Poverina.... My dispiace! Tanto...

A presto--

Bookwatcher Ciao! Grazie per la richiesta di amicizia.
Stupendo il tuo cane!!! Sembra un leone!!!! Bellissimo!
