Ron Vitale is a fantasy and science fiction author. He has a Master’s degree in English Literature from Villanova University where he studied the works of Alice Walker and Margaret Atwood, interpreting their novels with a psychological Jungian approach by showing how the central female protagonists in their novels use storytelling as a means to heal themselves from trauma. He lives in a small town outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In the fall of 2008, he published his fantasy novel Dorothea’s Song as an audiobook on Podiobooks and for sale in the Amazon.com Kindle store, and in 2011 he published Lost, the first book in the Cinderella’s Secret Witch Diaries series, in 2012 the second book in the series, Stolen, was published and in 2014

Description: What happened to Cinderella after she married the Prince? Set in the late 1700's as Napoleon is rising to power, Cinderella embarks on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to come to terms with her failed marriage and her inability to have a child. Torn between the Queen's insistence that she try all means necessary to conceive and her own desires, she agrees to travel to Paris to consult with a witch to help her become pregnant. Her journey leads her to find her long lost Fairy Godmother and aids her to solve the mystery behind her mother's death. Yet the Lord of the Fairies, the Silver Fox, also takes notice in her and her world is suddenly turned upside down...
Dorothea's Song (Science Fiction & Fantasy)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:31PM
Description: Peter may seem like your typical high school student, but when his mother’s failing marriage begins to split his family apart, he discovers a side of himself that is far from ordinary. To escape the chaos around him, Peter creates a new world of his own imagining, in which an elf named Dorothea fights magical forces in the forest of the Bois d’or. What started as a simple tale quickly takes on a life of its own when Peter’s French teacher issues a nightly writing assignment. Seizing this opportunity, Peter shares Dorothea’s story with his teacher, and weaves a captivating world in which a coven of witches, a renegade elf lord and the humans have joined forces to conquer the elvish forest. With the Bois d’or on the verge of invasion, Dorothea and her friends embark on a quest to find the wizard Mohan who will help them save their homeland. But the witches have other plans. They have set the three ancient evils of Anger, Fear and Lust against Dorothea. Can Dorothea survive the three curses and find Mohan in time to save her homeland? Dorothea’s fate is in Peter’s hands. But as his family life crumbles and his infatuation with his French teacher grows, he must rise above the insanity and save not only Dorothea’s home, but also his own. I tried

I dread book one years ago and didn’t like it. I tried book 2 and still don’t like the series. It’s not the subject matter but the poor writing. Just not my thing.
