Hi! I'm the author of novels for teens and tweens as well as picture books for toddlers. I love writing stories that will make you laugh, sigh, swoon...and if I break your heart I promise to patch it up by the end. :) New in YA Romance, the follow-up to Announcing Trouble: HOW TO QUIT YOUR CRUSH. May the worst date win!

I live and sweat in Phoenix, Arizona with my hubby and a puppy who is training us.

I'm not sure where it comes from, but I actually think realistic young adult novels today are changing that. I can't speak to every book, of course, but I've read many novels that show a grittier, more realistic vision of addiction, and mental illness. I can tell you that for me, personally, one of my goals while writing DIE FOR YOU was to address the type of romanticization you're asking about. I wanted to strip the romanticism from the idea of "dying for love." I wanted to show it for what it is: manipulation and emotional abuse. I hope that answers your question. Best, Amy(less)
Amy Fellner Dominy Hi Christine. Thanks for thinking of me. I think you mean the list of books by Jewish authors? Yes, I'd love to be listed there, as well. :)

A twisty who-dunnit (where who got killed was also a mystery for a chunk of the book). I got more invested as the story went on and figured absolutely nothing out by the end of the book. :) A fun, fast read for those who like mysteries/thrillers.
