New Prizewinner!

A belated update on my His For The Holidays Carina blog prize draw – in a very generous gesture, my prizewinner Meraehl asked me to do a re-draw because she had already won a prize on one of the other author’s blogs. Thanks, Meraehl! I think that was lovely of you. Sorry to have taken so long about it – my usual winter boast that I never catch anything has backfired on me spectacularly and I have been absolutely felled by a horrible bronchial cough, but I’m crawling back into action now, and the new winner, courtesy of random.org, is... Jan! Congrats, and I hope it’s a nice surprise for you. The Salisbury Key - Great Cover Art!

 


My great big M/M archaeological mystery thriller, The Salisbury Key, releases in February 2011 from Samhain, and not only am I painlessly through the first round of edits (though no-one could make things easier than my lovely editor, Sasha Knight) but at last I can reveal to you this amazing piece of cover art. Is it my favourite so far? I'm not sure - I've been incredibly lucky with artwork so far and have loved them all. But the artist here - Samhain's Kendra Egert - has really captured so many important elements of the story, and given me a vision of Daniel and Rayne astonishingly close to the way I imagine them. So thank you, Kendra and Samhain, for doing such a bang-up job. Kendra even worked that sinister "biohazard" symbol in. Just great!
