What To Do When Our Lives Are Surrounded With Difficulty

Cover_1124

Why does it sometimes feel like our life is surrounded by difficulty? Where can we turn when it feels like there’s no way out? No matter what situation we’re in, if we breathe in God’s word and breathe out our praise to Him, the atmosphere of our circumstances will change. In part three of our series Surround, Pastor Steven teaches us the power of declaring God’s promises over our lives through worship.

How to Be Grateful Even When We Lose

In this clip from our series 52 Days of Thanks and Praise, Pastor Steven shows us how our relationship Christ allows us to celebrate and be thankful in victory, even in the face of disappointment.

What We Can Expect From Living A Generous Life

Cover_1117

It seems like generosity and sacrifice go hand in hand. And, it’s true, that giving generously usually costs us something. But in the Bible, when God talks about giving, He doesn’t talk about having less of something, but having more. In this clip from our sermon series Banner Years, Pastor Steven explains the full blessing of living an open-handed life.

Surround

Cover_1107

When God makes a promise, He keeps it. God said He would do more than we could ever imagine, and He delivered. We’ve seen God do the impossible. We see it throughout the Bible. We see it in our own lives. In our own church. The love and faithfulness of God surrounds us and shapes our desires and dreams. Now we have the opportunity to surround our own cities and communities, sharing the love and faithfulness we’ve been given. And, we know this is only the beginning.

Why do we struggle to get past our deepest fears? Is there ever a way out of this destructive cycle of “what if”? In this clip from our sermon series Room 101, Pastor Steven teaches us a strategy for turning our fear into faith by focusing on the power of God.

Where Is God When I’m Afraid?

Cover_1103

Being brave doesn’t mean we have no fear – it means we refuse to be overcome by it. And when we see our weakness through God’s strength, we’re equipped with all we need to be brave in the face of any any situation. Pastor Steven wrapped up our series How To Be Brave by using examples from the Old and New Testament to show us our true source of courage in the midst of any struggle.
