I was asked to illustrate this cute little story for early readers and as a bedtime story. It's a fun read and I hope you'll like the illustrations.

Angel of Darkness by Christopher Nicole
Rate this book
Clear rating
I'm a big Christopher Nicole fan and have read dozens of his titles over the years. Alas 'Angle of Darkness' isn't one of his best. It has the makings of a good yarn, but gets bogged down with needless flashbacks and way too much dialogue padding. To ...more

A good old fashioned ripping yarn in the Bernard Cornwell and George MacDonald Fraser tradition. You'll romp through it in a couple of days and although Collard wrote 'The Scarlet Thief' in 2013, I have only just discovered it's the start of a series ...more

I didn't know being a Mormon was so complicated. 'Mighty and Strong' is a pretty good yard about infighting between Mormon factions resulting in skulduggery and murder. Jacob Christianson doesn't really know whether he's a Mormon or not. His missus w ...more

"An hilarious rendezvous with Fairyland and the folk who live there... I want the author (Richard) to be my new 'Fairy god father' because with flair and plenty of rabbit trails, he has dished up an adventure you don't find every day. And with hottie " Read more of this review »

Bleed for Me by Michael Robotham

At nearly five hundred pages this is a much longer crime thriller than I usually tolerate, but even though it was detailed I got through it okay. The plot merges a couple of particularly unsavory crimes with twists and turns all over the place.
