“Unwind” and “Star Crossed” Giveaway
Unwind
The Second Civil War was fought over reproductive rights. The chilling resolution: Life is inviolable from the moment of conception until age thirteen. Between the ages of thirteen and eighteen, however, parents can have their child “unwound,” whereby all of the child’s organs are transplanted into different donors, so life doesn’t technically end. Connor is too difficult for his parents to control. Risa, a ward of the state is not enough to be kept alive. And Lev is a tithe, a child co...

Daughter Of Smoke And Bone Giveaway
Daughter Of Smoke And Bone
Around the world, black hand prints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky.
In a dark and dusty shop, a devil’s supply of human teeth grows dangerously low.
And in the tangled lanes of Prague, a young art student is about to be caught up in a brutal otherwordly war.
Meet Karou. She fills her sketchbooks with monsters that may or may not be real; she’s prone to disappearing on mysterious “errands”; she spea...

Shatter Me Giveaway
Shatter Me
Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days.
The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.
The Reestablishment said their wa...

Divergent Giveaway
Divergent
In Beatrice Prior’s dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue–Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is–s...
Gifts of Salvation
Book Giveaways
Anyone who knows me can tell you I love to read. Everywhere I go, there’s always a book with me, either printed or in electronic format. I never want to be stranded anywhere and not have a book with me. That would be a crime, a crime, I say! I also wouldn’t wish thismiseryon anyone. Imagine going to the doctor’s office, sitting in the waiting room for interminable hours and finding yourself with nothing to read. The horror! There’s no way I’d pick those virus ridden magazines. A...

Author Salon
AuthorSalon.com
With my busy schedule, I’m always trying to find online venues where I can connect with other authors at my convenience. I belong to several writing communities online, and they’ve been extremely helpful in different ways (i.e. getting feedback, testing my writing on my target audience, winning contests, learning about the industry, etc.) Now, however, I’ve found something that offers something different. Something I’m ready for: a chance to be discovered and be published.
I’m t...

How to Create a Website
Create your own website
Some of my author friends have been asking what did I do to create my own website. Some of them have Blogger, WordPress or some other free service, and they don’t like the fact that their site address ends up with extra words tacked in the middle. For instance this site might have ended up as www.fictionBOUND.blogspot.com. Not so nice, huh? They want to know how to have a cleaner name, and if it is difficult to accomplish. Also they wonder what is the cost involved. So...

Kindle vs iPad
Kindle vs iPad
So, my birthday is coming up and I’m trying to decide between an iPad and a Kindle. And I just can’t do it. I’m psychologically unable to pick one of the two. Hmm, I guess that means I want both, and also five million dollars, and eternal youth while I’m at it.
To make matters worse, there is the impending release of the Kindle 4, which may be equipped with a color display and touchscreen. Why, oh, why, do I not like flowers or jewelry as gifts? It would be some much easier.
I’ve...
