Top 5 reasons why NaNoWriMo might not be for you

Top 10 NaNoWriMo Tips

Is NaNoWriMo for you?

I’m a Young Adult and New Adult author who has been writing for several years and has successfully completed 7 full-length novels—one of which, The Guys Are Props Club, I wrote in 22 days. I share this not to brag or anything like that, but to show I don’t suffer from lack of discipline or inability to write fast. That said . . .

So, yeah, I confess—after three unsuccessful attempts—that NaNoWriMo isn’t for me! Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea, the energy, the camarader...

“Girls Are Players” Release Giveaway

In a few weeks, Girls Are Players releases! I love saying that :) I’m very excited to share the next book in the G.A.P series. As I type this, my editor is working feverishly to polish everything to perfection. He likes Jessica. He says she’s a very interesting character and she’s kept him turning the page. This makes me extremely happy, to say the least, because she was a very challenging character to write. She kept me on my toes the whole while—which made the process lots of fun! I really ho...

Don’t worry, Divergents!

Surfing the twitterverse, I’ve seen the disappointment of The Mortal Instruments’ fans as we heard the news that the production of the sequel has been delayed. In the heels of this news, I’ve also noticed the concerned comments of other fandom members and the future of their respective movies, but I’ve heard none more loudly than the passionate Divergent fans.

Now, if you’ve been following the news on The Mortal Instruments movie, you probably know it isn’t doing very well in the box office. T...

“The Guys Are Props Club” – Cover Reveal

I’m so thrilled to share the cover to my sexy New Adult novel The Guys Are Props Club. The couple on the picture are perfect for Maddie and Sebastian–especially Sebastian (Oh, my!) I love it, and it makes me so much more excited about my book coming out next month. Working on this novel was extremely fun, and I feel readers in this new, hot genre will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Most of all I hope Sebastian makes everyone sigh the way I do every time I picture him ;)
