I'm a Midwestern who moved to Tucson, AZ and is now having a love affair with the delicate strength and beauty of the Sonoran Desert. One of these days, I might even embrace horseback riding, and have a real reason to wear my cowboy boots.

Most recently, I co-authored "Cowboy Up! Life Lessons from Lazy B" and "The Horse Lover: A Cowboy's Quest to Save the Wild Mustangs" with H. Alan Day. I've also had some health books, personal essays, and a smattering of poems published. My day job is running LWS Literary Services, an agency specializing in book proposals, ghostwriting, editing, and book publicity campaigns. If you're into historical fiction, give this lovely a read! The characters were incredibly well-developed. The structure of the novel also is creative. A wonderful read with insights into slavery in Jamaica. No wonder it was made into a PBS series! ...more
