Shark Tank Capitalists Succumb to the Charms of UN Globalists

The hosts of the popular reality-television series Shark Tank, and their counterparts overseas, recently got the red-carpet treatment at UN headquarters in New York City. From all over the world, the hosts of the popular international series of shows featuring up-and-coming entrepreneurs were subjected to a clinic on the ideology of sustainable development.

UN officials were hoping that these highly recognizable paladins of free-market capitalism would come away ready to do the bidding of the gl...

The Sith: A Political Allegory

Three years ago, I published an essay entitled “The True Story of the Sith.” Most people seemed to think it was a ‘spiritual essay, about shadow work and that kind of thing, but it was actually a political piece, almost an allegory. Yesterday, as I was working on an article on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s alliance with Donald Trump, I revisited the Sith piece and realized that its allegorical interpretation is more obvious and more relevant today than ever.

The allegory is not so direct as to suggest...

“RFK, Jr. Murders Whale With Chainsaw!”

“Our society is now a strange hybrid of the Middle Ages, the Third Reich, and Brave New World. We have two classes — lords and peasants; we are in the midst of a very profitable genocide; and it’s all infused with surveillance technology, mind-altering drugs, and wall-to-wall propaganda.” — Dr. Toby Rogers

The alliance between Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Donald Trump is many things. But first it’s an all-clear signal to a large class of less-than-fully brain-damaged Americans that it’s okay to qu...

Powell: More Easy Money Is Coming Soon

Fed Chairman Jerome Powell held a press conference at the annual Jackson Hole economic conference today, and he all but said that a September cut to the federal funds rate is a done deal: “The time has come for policy to adjust. The direction of travel is clear.”

Naturally he threw in the usual propaganda phrases about how the Fed is data driven. He continues: “the timing and pace of rate cuts will depend on incoming data, the evolving outlook, and the balance of risks.”

Remember, with its offic...

The Things I Feared Most To Write

Last July, as you recall, I was dying. I was in a soulless corporate hospital, trying and failing to recover from emergency surgery. Some of my vital organs had become ‘septic’; raging with infection. I was fading.

I had been denied food and water for five days; I had been told by a plethora of oddly detached nurses, who spoke without expression, that I would soon be on a respirator. Unable to muster the will to fight much longer, I asked God to please give me more time.

My doctor, spurred to in...

Do We Finally Have a Peace Ticket?

Just as the Harris/Walz campaign was looking for a boost from the content-free Democratic National Convention last week, real drama broke out that pulled the country’s attention back toward Republican candidate Donald Trump. Rumors had been swirling for days that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. might suspend his independent run for the White House and endorse Donald Trump and on Friday he did just that.

In his powerful speech explaining the decision, RFK, Jr. made it clear that suspending his run was dif...

The Problem Isn’t the US Having the Wrong President, the Problem Is the US Empire’s Existence

The reason I find myself fighting with both Harris supporters and Trump supporters is because they see the other party as the problem while I see the US empire itself as the problem. They seek to make things better by ensuring that the empire is under the correct management, while I seek the end of the empire.

People say things like “Oh but Kamala Harris speaks so compassionately about the suffering of the Palestinians!”

These dupes had eight years of Obama speaking eloquent, compassionate-sou...

Powell Spills the Beans

The death cross on the dollar’s trade-weighted index (shown above) anticipated Powell’s speech, falling 1.6% in the last week. When it breaks the 100 level, a target of 90 is in play. But after its recent sharp falls, a countertrend rally is likely first, as short-term traders short of the dollar take profits. And they could be badly squeezed before the dollar’s downtrend resumes, particularly with the other currencies in the basket having their own troubles.

Gold is on the other side of the do...

Destroying Villages in Order To Save Them

A salient feature of the last decade or so has been the steady rise of bizarre cults with legions of fervent true believers, even though we have virtually zero rational grounds for believing in the central tenets of these secular religions. The weirdest thing about these cults is the way in which their true believers ardently sacrifice the very things they claim they wish to save. Consider the following:

1). COVID-19 illness presents close to ZERO risk to healthy children, but this hasn’t stoppe...

Why I Am Suspending My Campaign for President

Sixteen months ago, in April of 2023, I launched my campaign for President of the United States. I began this journey as a Democrat — the party of my father and my uncle, the party to which I pledged my allegiance long before I was old enough to vote.

I attended my first Democratic convention at age six in 1960. Back then, the Democrats were the champions of the Constitution, and civil rights. The Democrats stood against authoritarianism, against censorship, and against colonialism, imperialism...
