Richard Bard draws on his own experiences as a former USAF pilot and cancer survivor to craft compelling characters who risk it all for love and loyalty. Born in Munich, Germany, to American parents, he joined the United States Air Force like his father. But he left the service when he was diagnosed with cancer and learned he had only months to live. He earned a management degree from the University of Notre Dame and ran three successful companies involving advanced security products used by US embassies and governments worldwide. Now a full-time writer, he lives in Redondo Beach, California, with his wife and remains in excellent health.

I thought it was a joke at first, but when I researched the background of the noteworthy founders, and studied their proposed path to success, I discovered that the technology necessary to make such a leap wasn't as far-fetched as I'd suspected. In fact, much of the tech is already available. As I dove into the online subject matter, one link led to another, then to another, and before long a story began to take shape in my mind. What if that same mind-bending technology could be levered by a less benevolent organization -- for an entirely different purpose? And what if an innocent boy's mental gifts stood in the way of that success? Sounded like a thriller to me! Everlast was born. (less)

Today I received the first editorial review on my latest book, Everlast, a Brainrush Thriller. After a year of writing and rewriting, with scores of crumpled pages tossed on the floor (figuratively speaking), waiting for that all-important first review takes its toll, at least for this author. So when the email first arrived this morning, I hesitated before opening it. I pushed my breakfast as...

Thanks for the feedback, Linda. I love hearing it! Things are still looking good on the movie. Fingers crossed...

Linda I love the new covers of your books. I also read about the giveaway on Twitter and a possible chance of winning a MS of the new book. Sure would love to have a chance to read that one before July. I already preordered the book and can't wait for it to be ready for my Kindle. It sounds amazing as were the other two. Been waiting on this for a long time and it is getting so close. Thanks for sharing and I am sure that a lot of us are still wondering if there will be a movie made based on your wonderful books. That would be fantastic as they would most definitely make a GREAT movie.

Carl Hi Richard really enjoyed your novel and thanks for accepting me as a friend.
I recall some books I read ages ago about a team of American telepathy who did missions for the CIA and met a bunch of Soviet telepaths the main hero fell for his female Russian counterpart and they sort of smelled oranges telepathically! Sounds wired but I cannot remember the series or author.
Any ideas maybe about 15 yrs ago I read these.
