Do You Love Me Enough to do This?

Letting Go - Balloons When we are faced with a difficult life challenge there is usually a lesson in it. Most of our life lessons are about Love  and about Letting Go.  Letting Go doesn't mean you don't love them anymore. Letting Go doesn't mean you won't miss them anymore. You can never cut the ties that bind two souls together who truly love each other. What you DO need to cut is the

"Wow! Just wow! I lost my canine soul mate a few, short months ago. I joined Kate's group on Facebook and have begun reading the series. I just finished this first book and I will admit that I cried throughout most of it, but it was a healing cry...." Read more of this review »

Only Gone From Your Sight by Kate McGahan
“Intuition is a wonderful gift but it can be both a blessing and a curse. If you can easily tune in to the grief of another, it is very easy to lose your way if you have not yet resolved your own present or past trauma and grief. If you have not healed from your own grief and you turn around and give all you have to give, you will find yourself drowning. Soon there will be nothing left of you.”

Only Gone From Your Sight by Kate McGahan
“Believe me when I tell you this. It will just take a little time and you will one day find that all your loves have merged together. You will be surprised because you will find yourself laughing or smiling over a memory of me and that’s when you will know that your tears will soon subside. I want you to be free to love again and to be happy when you are reminded of me! You’ll get there, you’ll see, and it will be sweet and beautiful with a few sentimental tears now and again for all the loves you have had.”

More of Kate's books…
“The more we love the more we lose. The more we lose the more we learn. The more we learn the more we love. It comes full circle. Life is the school, love is the lesson. We cannot lose.”
Kate McGahan

“Love can be found in unexpected places. Sometimes we go out searching for what we think we want and we end up with what we’re supposed to have.”
Kate McGahan, JACK McAFGHAN: Reflections on Life with my Master

“Love is like the sea. The waves of life, they ebb and flow; they come and go. Time sweeps us away from each other. Love always brings us back.”
Kate McGahan

“Love can be found in unexpected places. Sometimes we go out searching for what we think we want and we end up with what we’re supposed to have.”
Kate McGahan, JACK McAFGHAN: Reflections on Life with my Master

“Not all dogs are perfect dogs, but all dogs are inherently good. Like people, we are affected by environment and circumstance. Some breeds get a bad rap because sometimes humans breed them to be a certain way, like overly macho or protective. In our life on earth we are dependent on humans for everything, including our breeding. We can be bred for aggression or we can be bred for peace.”
Kate McGahan, JACK McAFGHAN: Reflections on Life with my Master

“. A gentle tug on the leash and I would adjust myself quickly. I never questioned it. I knew that she knew where we were going and I never once looked back. Sometimes God does that too. He reminds us not to get too headstrong so that we remain humble and attentive to Him. He knows where He is taking us.”
Kate McGahan, JACK McAFGHAN: Reflections on Life with my Master

“Sometimes in life our master will teach us and then test us like this. He will send the same painful circumstances to us over and over again until we no longer want what isn’t good for us; until he is sure that we have learned what we need to know so that he can move us on to new kinds of lessons and experience.”
Kate McGahan, JACK McAFGHAN: Reflections on Life with my Master

“...why, when people write words do they capitalize “I”? Why not capitalize “You” too? For You are as important as I am. It’s hard for me to understand the human ways.”
