i haven’t posted original content on this blog for ages, but this has been stewing in my drafts basically all summer
guys i’d like you to meet fay, the protagonist of my friend @tom-early-author‘s series! he’s absolutely precious and works with ice magic, and is honestly one of my favourite characters ever. you can read about him in the first book of tom’s series, aspect of winter! the second book, the doorway god, will be out in november 2017 so please keep an eye out for that!
if you like magic, multicultural fantasy, lgbtq+ characters, and poc characters you should definitely check out tom’s book and give him some love! he’s one of the best writers i’ve read and he deserves so much more recognition for the work he’s done

I’m glad you want to read it! Sorry for such a late reply (currently traveling at a pace I only hesitantly recommend), but I believe there’s one currently in stock. Beyond that, I think Amazon restocks fairly regularly, but I couldn’t tell you exact dates. This is looooooong belated (whoops, I had no idea I had a message so thanks for that Tumblr), but yes, there are more books to come! The Doorway God should be out this fall, also with Harmony Ink Press. I’ll post a link for preorders as soon as I have one to share.

Hey y’all. It’s now been almost two years since Aspect of Winter was released, and I’m happy to say that the sequel, The Doorway God, will be coming out this fall. I can promise it’s even better than than the first one, and now is the perfect time to start the series for just the right amount of agonized waiting until book two arrives. If you’re looking to read a fun sort of aged up mixture of Harry Potter and The Lightning Thief, to support gay fiction written by gay people, or just to click links because of that pretty, pretty cover (thank @malusdraco, their art is rad), here’s your chance.
If you’re not interested in getting the book right now for any reason, just consider following me here or on Facebook! I’ll keep you in the loop about new releases and other exciting stuff.
