Barbara A. Barnett is a Philadelphia-area writer, musician, Odyssey Writing Workshop graduate, coffee addict, wine lover, and all-around geek. Her short fiction has appeared in publications such as Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Fantasy Magazine, Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show, and Daily Science Fiction. Outside of writing, she has spent most of her career working for performing arts organizations, first as a grant writer and database manager, and more recently as an orchestra librarian. Daniel Barbara, I was born in Newark and raised in the Linden-Elizabeth area north of you in northern NJ. I went to see the 1950-51 Miami Air Show and plumb forgot to come back to Jersey again. Miami was country back then; now look at it. Hard to believe!
