Thunder Sunshine by Alastair Humphreys
"I have read Lilwal's book and "Moods of Joy", which is a first part of Humpreys saga. I must admit that Thunder and Sunshine is better in all counts, it contains more pages, some maps, language is more developed and read more pleasant.

"There are big, epic adventures that most of us can only dream of doing. And then there are the small, backyard excursions that deliver the same blast of fresh air and vitality into our lives – if we have eyes to see the opportunities to take them...." Read more of this review »
The Boy Who Biked the World by Alastair Humphreys
"A really lovely, easy to read (or be read to for the youngest) adventure book. You can easily get caught up in the sweetness of toms adventures as he bikes on his African journey. Beautiful wording to describe what he sees and feels as he explores..." Read more of this review »

Andy Just finished 'Moods of Future Joys' - incredible!

Really looking forward to 'Thunder and Sunshine'. I enjoy my week-long bicycling tour every summer with friends (like www.ridetherockies.com) - that ~500 mile bicycle tour is barely a taste of the fantastic adventures in your book.

Just one question - how do you get across the oceans? Pedal very quickly, I assume? :)
