July 17, 2013: New Releases For September!

It's that time again! Here's all the awesome stuff coming your way in September!

Munchkin Pathfinder



The award-winning game of killing monsters and taking their stuff meets the award-winning universe of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game in Munchkin Pathfinder !



Try out new classes like Alchemist and Witch. Join a faction to become an Eagle Knight or a Red Mantis Assassin. Arm yourself with the T-Bone Stake and the Armor of Insults. July 12, 2013: Music For Robots

[image error]When Sam Mitschke isn't forehead deep in all the various projects he has to oversee as our indispensable and talented Production Manager, he makes music.



Aural Films put out a compilation album of robot-themed music on July 5th.



You know where this is going. Sam's track is #36 in the set, entitled "Alphie II".



Here's hoping we see a lot more tunes from him! Congrats, Sam!

July 13, 2013: Because Ordinary Silk Is So Twentieth Century

Sure that silk shirt you're wearing feels nice and looks stylish, but wouldn't it be great if it also glowed under fluorescent light?



In the highly unlikely event that you've ever asked yourself that question, scientists in Japan have got you covered. Using the DNA from jellyfish and two different species of coral, genetically modified silkworms have been enginered to produce silks that glow in three different colors. Read more at io9 .

Warehouse 23 News: They're Cute Little Girls. And They Like To Beat People Up.



Button Men is a quick-playing dice game in which players take turns capturing each others' dice.



But it's not as easy as you might think. In this elegant fight system, small dice mean speed, and large dice mean strength.



The Lunch Money buttons, designed by James Ernest, are fully compatible with the original Button Men set, as well as with other sets published by Cheapass Games and future licensees.



Each package comes with one rulebook and two pin-back buttons. Players must supply their own dice.

Have you ever wanted to be the first one to communicate with an alien life form? Lone Signal is offering the opportunity to do just that. July 8, 2013: More New Faces In The Munchkin Office

This announcement is WAY overdue, but as usual, things around here have moved too fast for us to keep up.



Leonard Balsera has leveled up in Fnorditude once again, and has taken on the dual responsibilities of Marketing Director and Chez Geek Line Editor. And following his success coding the Android version of the Ogre War Room app, Keith Blackard has moved over to our IT team to help out with more app and Web coding. We (er, I) wish them all the best in their new roles.



Taking their places are Devin Lewis and Carl DeSoto. Devin has helped us playtest many of our games over the last few years and has contributed his expertise as part of the Munchkin Brain Trust. He's also a game designer in his own right, and has already jumped in to run many of our outside playtests. Carl has been working in our warehouse for several months now, but as an avid gamer, I'm planning to steal some of his time to contribute his thoughts to Munchkin development as well. Please welcome both of them to the madhouse!
