“Jack couldn't help but watch Nonie as she left. She looked to be twenty-nine, thirty at the most, stood maybe five foot-four and was slender. She had shoulder-length, curly, walnut-colored hair and the largest most beautiful blue eyes he'd ever seem Her nose and ears were small in comparison to her full lips, which he'd give anything to kiss.”
Deborah Leblanc, Toe to Toe

“What's he saying?" Buggy asked, her voice shaky.
"That there's something up in the attic that we should be careful of because it could be dangerous.
"Oh, uh-uh, I'm not going up there," Buggy said, You can send Shaundelle up there, but I'm keeping my little white ass down here.”
Deborah Leblanc, Toe to Toe

“He'd died. Plain and simple. And it pissed him off. Left him frustrated and disappointed. Where had all , the guardian angel crap they'd fed him in catechism gone to? He'd seen no angels, seraphim, archangels or pearly gates. No one to show him the ropes now that he was dead. What the hell was he supposed to do?”

message 60: by Deborah

Deborah I know, Naomi, and I apologize for that. The reason my books, save for The Wolven and anything else soon to be published by Harlequin, are and will be available in all brick and mortar stores, as well as any online bookstore. My backlist, however, is a different story. Because those books were published by Dorchester and because Dorchester has all but gone bankrupt, no former Dorchester authors' books are being shipped to bookstores. To circumvent that issue, I have picked up most of the inventory of my books Dorchester had stashed in a warehouse. This means that anyone interested in purchasing any of my backlist in paperback format will be able to do so directly from my website. The site is undergoing reconstruction to accomodate this new feature, but that reconstruction is nearly complete and will soon go live. :)

Thanks so much for your interest in my books. :)

Naomi Hey Deborah, I agree with SA..Your books are almost impossible to find in print..I have even asked my librarian to see if she could find them for me and she said she couldn't that the print date was pulled. That is why I asked you when I "friended" you why your books are almost impossible to find!I know for me Ghost Box was the most recent one I was looking for.

message 58: by Deborah

Deborah Hi S.A. :)
White Hot and Bottom Feeder are both available in print. They are part of Five Strokes to Midnight, which is a Bram Stoker award winning anthology. The antho is a hard-cover, signed limited edition, which includes other stories by some really terrific authors. Below is a review of the antho from Amazon, where you can still find copies I believe. :)

"This review is from: Five Strokes to Midnight (Hardcover)
This book has been nominated for a 2008 World Fantasy Award for best anthology, and it won two Bram Stoker awards in 2008. The first Stoker was for for Gary A. Braunbeck's novella "Afterward, There Will Be a Hallway" and the other was for Superior Achievement in Anthology.

In addition to Gary Braunbeck's story, it's got stories by Tom Piccirilli, Deborah LeBlanc, Hank Schwaeble, and Christopher Golden; the stories are about Loss, Hauntings, Curses, Demons, and Folklore.

The book is a limited-edition signed hardcover and is put together really nicely. The cover image might look a little strange at first glance, but it actually goes with the story it illustrates really well, so if it doesn't appeal to you, don't judge this book by its cover!

Oh, and the cover and the illustrations in the book are all by Ashley Laurence, who played Kirsty in the "Hellraiser" movies."
