Is Tim Bridgewater Crazy?

Robert Costa has an article at National Review about today's race in Utah and I come away with the distinct impression that Tim Bridgewater must be crazy.

Why?

Well, there is this bit:

Bridgewater doesn't hide that he has little love for the Palmetto State senator. "It will take me a long time before I feel comfortable working with him," he says. "If I'm elected, there are going to be some problems that will need to be reconciled. I don't know what Jim DeMint's underlying agenda is, and I'm not...

A Tale of Budget Cowardice…and Courage

"The U.S. House has never— NEVER —failed to pass a budget resolution since the current budget rules were put into place in 1974. Until today. "

So the Democrats have finally admitted they will not produce a budget plan this year. This is the ultimate in political cowardice. To understand how cowardly, one must understand what a budget plan really is.

In short, a budget is an outline, a roadmap, a guide for future spending and revenues. It does not actually spend anything or take any...

How's That Glenn Beck Boycott Thingy Working Out?

I had to drive my four year old to art camp this morning. On the way home, I decided to indoctrinate my 18 month old and flipped over to Glenn Beck on XM.

I began to wonder if Beck was still on Fox.

I am typically in the car driving to Atlanta during the 5pm hour or I'm at City Council, so I don't know (sorry Glenn, there's no room on the TiVo what with the Backyardigans, Tom & Jerry, The Batman, and Army Wives (blech)).

The left, if you listen to the bluster, has had a pretty impressive...

000-000-0000

I've gotten phone calls from this number for three solid weeks and every time I say hello the call disconnects. It sounds like one of those systems where it calls out to a bunch of numbers at once and then only connects enough people who answer to live operators, disconnecting all those who answer but can't immediately be routed to a live operator.

Third time today that I answered the calI I connected directly to a live operator. It was someone calling raising money for Marco Rubio, but...

The Bridgewater - Eager Team Takes the Bait

Yesterday I posted this and noted, "Cherilyn Eager's IP address at RedState is identical to one used by an anonymous Bridgewater supporter's at RedState."

Now, here's the key: I never said which post or comment was shared.

Nonetheless, our resident anonymous Bridgewater supporter decided to proactively point out that

The post:

was not posted by me, and the IP address for that post would not match...

John Oxendine's Binder

oxbinder.jpg

It was actually a birthday present of sorts. I received the information from out of state from a third party group interested in Georgia's elections, particularly those candidates who will be good or bad for business in the state. It's a binder containing a professionally compiled opposition research briefing on John Oxendine, Republican gubernatorial candidate in Georgia. If the information is not used in the primary, it will definitely be used in the general election.

I've said for some t...

The Tim Bridgewater Attack On Jim DeMint Continues

Tim Bridgewater's supporters have set up and are pushing a website called the "Jim DeMint Takeover."

It contains just one post.

It is a YouTube of Mike Lee, who is asked, "If you are elected as the new Senator from Utah, who will be your mentor and why?"

Mike Lee's response?

"My mentor in the senate and among those who are still in the world of the living will be Jim Demint in whose endorsement I am pleased to have and who hails from South Carolina and who is an advocate of constitutionally...

A Senate Candidate Helps Mexican Drug Lords Get U.S. Tax Dollars, Then Launches a Jihad Against Jim DeMint

image

A few days ago, former Utah Senate candidate Cherilyn Eager, the woman who claimed Tim Bridgewater offered to pay off her campaign debt in exchange for her endorsement then denied that was a bribe before - you know - endorsing Bridgewater, came onto RedState and attacked Jim DeMint.

Eager claims that Jim DeMint and Mike Lee are both affiliated with some energy company I've never heard of and DeMint denies it. Best I can tell, the attack is as crazy as Cherilyn Eager is.

However, concurrent t...
