Senate Republicans to Tea Party Activists: Go To H - E - Double Hockeysticks
I told you a while back about a small group of Republican Senators sitting down for drinks at the Capitol Hill Club. They'd been to a tea party rally that day and were opening mocking the tea partiers. One of them, a guy tea partiers adore, seemed to hold them in open contempt at this table.
Well, between the tea partiers and Jim DeMint, these Republican Senators are getting a lot of heartburn and are starting to speak out. One of the good old boys of the club who can speak freely because h...

It is time for conservatives to get off the fence in KS-01
Lots of conservatives have sat out KS-01 because we all like Rob Wassinger, who worked for Sam Brownback, but whose campaign is going nowhere.
But because of that, conservatives have let down Tim Huelskamp, a solidly pro-life, fiscal conservative that both I, Concerned Women of America, the Club for Growth have endorsed.
Surveys are coming out showing the most liberal man (big spending and pro-abortion) in the race is now pulling ahead in a race where a conservative should be winning.
This is...
Washington Post Plans to Out Companies and Individuals Doing Intelligence Work
This morning I received this memo from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
In it, the ODNI advises its "industry partners," that is those corporations and individuals who do work to assist the security of the country, that the Washington Post is planning on outing them.
Early next week, the Washington Post is expected to publish articles and an interactive website that will likely contain a compendium of government agencies and contractors allegedly conducting Top Secret work...

Ron Johnson Beating Russ Feingold
Okay, so it is within the margin of error and only one point ahead, but it is against Russ Feingold. That's great.
It is 47 to 46 in Ron Johnson's favor. More troubling for Feingold, the polling shows that 42% of Wisconsin voters strongly disapprove of Obama's handling of the economy with another 8% somewhat disapproving.
Johnson has been steadily going up in the poll while Feingold has been holding steady. Dave Westlake, by the way, trails Feingold 37% to 51%.
Tucker Carlson & Daily Caller Own Keith Olbermann
The folks at the Daily Caller have scored a most excellent coup. Today they own Keith Olbermann. Literally.
Okay . . . technically it is KeithOlbermann.com, but still. That is just awesome.
They've just set a very high bar for the rest of us to be Worst Person in the World this week. Sigh.
Frank Guinta the Grandstander
Those emails from the Attorney General's Office in New Hampshire haven't done a lot of damage to Kelly Ayotte — at least as much as people thought. IN fact, in a new poll, she's clobbering Paul Hodes, the run to Canada for money Democrat.
But one person who is getting hit Frank Guinta, running for Congress. Guinta is very adamant he opposed the stimulus and would never vote for the stimulus.
Internal emails from the Attorney General's Office suggest otherwise. In one email, Kelly Ayotte...

This is Like Season 4 of 24, But With the Economy Instead of Terrorism
In Season 4 of the television show 24, President John Keeler is on Air Force One as it is blown out of the sky. Under the 25th amendment, power transfers to the Vice President, Charles Logan.
But Logan is unable to deal with the demands of national security, so his Chief of Staff convinces him to bring former President David Palmer back to handle all the national security issues.
Well, 24 has become reality. Except instead of terrorism and stray nukes we're talking the economy. Barack Obama...
