Collecting scalps at what cost?

I'm torn on saying anything about this, but think the better part of valor requires me to speak up on this.

The Shirley Sherrod debate reminds me of Rush Limbaugh trying to buy the St. Louis Rams. For three days after the announcement reporters, news anchors, "legitimate" "journalists" brought up several Limbaugh quotes that painted him as a racist. For three days these "legitimate" people in the news — not pundits, not analysis, but news anchors, reporters, etc. — pressed on until the deal ...

I Think Cinamon Has Been Replaced By A Shadowy Cabal of Priests

We've mentioned before Jane Norton's reliance on Cinamon out in Colorado. Cinamon helps Jane Norton answer her questions.

I was shocked and appalled to hear this public radio interview with Jane Norton. Instead of relying on Cinamon for advice on how to deal with illegal alients, Jane Norton is instead relying on "hispanic clergy."

Their advice? Don't send illegals home. Give them community service then let them apply for citizens. She says something about sending them "to the back of the ...

Dear RedState Readers

We joined the movement early.

In the entire United States of America and all the candidates I am proud to support and proud of, Nikki Haley is at the top of the list.

If you haven't donated to her campaign, I sure hope you will consider it.

Members of the Media Plotted To Shut Down Coverage of Jeremiah Wright

It is as we all suspected.

It was the moment of greatest peril for then-Sen. Barack Obama's political career. In the heat of the presidential campaign, videos surfaced of Obama's pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, angrily denouncing whites, the U.S. government and America itself. Obama had once bragged of his closeness to Wright. Now the black nationalist preacher's rhetoric was threatening to torpedo Obama's campaign.

The crisis reached a howling pitch in mid-April, 2008, at an ABC News...

Obama Lacks Faith in the American People

Barack Obama is out accusing the Republican Party of a lack of faith in the American people.

But it is Barack Obama who thinks the government must tell people what they can and cannot eat.

It is Barack Obama who thinks the government must tell people what insurance they must have.

It is Barack Obama who believes the government must regulate bank charges, overdraft fees, and everything else for the American people.

It is Barack Obama who lacks faith in the American people. His faith is not in...

I Like Kevin Calvey for Congress

I haven't mentioned it, but I'm a big fan of Kevin Calvey for Congress. He's running in Oklahoma for the 5th Congressional District. He's a recipient of the Bronze Star for his service in the Iraq War. Kevin was part of the surge.

He's got the Club for Growth behind him, Concerned Women of America, Gun Owners of America, me, and others.

This guy is a winner and he's going to be a fantastic congressman.

Republican Senators Must Filibuster Elena Kagan

I've got the top story at Human Events today and call on Republians to filibuster.

Americans have now learned about the extreme views of Solicitor General Elena Kagan, President Obama's nominee to the Supreme Court.

Kagan's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee contained much clear evidence of her expansive view of federal power and her lack of respect for the 2nd Amendment.  Kagan's views on the Commerce Clause and Americans' right to "keep and bear arms" make her unfit to serve...
