I'm a writer, blogger and lover of books and all things literature. I used to be an Accountant, until I rediscovered my love for writing in 2006 and became a full-time writer in 2008. I'm the creator and one of the writers for the fiction series and book, In My Dreams It Was Simpler.

My novel, "Nothing Comes Close" is a spin-off from the series and has just been published by Accomplish Press. I also write short stories, flash fiction, poems and articles for magazines, and I'm working on a collection of short stories and flash fiction.

Do all your pending chores (I've had mental breakthroughs while washing the dishes), then come back to your writing with a refreshed mind. If you want to, you can skip the particular niggling bit of the story and work on something else. Once you get into the flow, you'll be fine!(less)

Hello everyone!

I hope you had a lovely Christmas break, spending time with family and friends, eating, drinking, celebrating! Did you get a visit from Santa?

As the year 2016 draws to a close, it's normal for us to look back and reflect on how the past 12 months have been. Did we make progress with our goals? Did we achieve anything significant? Did we grow in our personal lives? Did we learn so... Read more of this blog post »
