Danielle Llanes (1979- ) was born in Texas, she grew up traveling the country with her mother and finally settled in California. She has been an artist, cotton candymaker, chihuahua trainer and professional student. A longtime fan of National Novel Writing Month - in 2009 she took the challenge and completed her first novel, Cut.
