That’s me — some combination of Deep South values (family, faith and football) and Floridian Lifestyle (laid back, sun-loving and unique).

I was born and raised in St. Augustine, a surfers-and-artists type laid back community on the north Atlantic coast of the Florida peninsula. Not until I moved to Tallahassee for college did I realize how fortunate I was to grow up in such a gorgeous, unique town.

But while St. Augustine was my home for 99% of the year, half my heart still resided year round on the kudzu-lined clay roads of Alabama. On all the major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and 4th of July) my family could be found in Montgomery, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa or my mama’s hometown of Wetumpka (go ahead an ...more
