Barry Lancet is the author of the award-winning international suspense series featuring Jim Brodie. The latest entry is THE SPY ACROSS THE TABLE (Simon & Schuster) and sends Brodie careening from Washington, D.C. and San Francisco to Japan, then on to South Korea, the DMZ, and the Chinese-North Korean border in a story that could have been ripped from today’s headlines. I work in the morning at home, then take a long break of 2 to 3 hours, in which I do many different things. I start again in the afternoon. The long break allows me to approach the second session refreshed, as if it's morning again. This time I work outside, at one of the 8 or 10 coffee shops in the area.(less)
