Tribe of Five
Deuteronomy 2:3 – You have skirted this mountain long enough; turn northward.
The Bible clearly says our relationship with God is one of constant forward progression. We are happiest when setting goals and achieving them. It’s not God’s best for us to stay in one place. He called us to take new territories – from line to line, precept to precept, faith to faith, glory to glory, and everlasting unto everlasting.
Declaration: I have God-given ability to reach my God-given goals. He knows the plans He has for me, and I partner with them today!
Tribe of FiveThere’s an untold story within the account of the paralytic being lowered through the roof to be healed by Jesus.
And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. – Mark 2:4
Once there were four friends who could walk and a paralyzed guy. One of these friends had more than likely seen Jesus heal someone and convinced the others to take him to Jesus. Unable to push their friend through the crowd and determined to get him into Jesus’ presence for healing, they went against every social protocol – and religious idea of who Jesus – is in a single act of bravery.
These people were committed to one another and to the cause – getting their friend healed by proving Jesus is who He says He is – the Messiah.
There’s a similar story in the Old Testament about the future king, David, and the crown prince of Israel, Jonathan. Scripture says Jonathan’s soul knit to David’s. He traded his coat, belt, and weapons with David, protected him from Saul, and ran out to David’s hiding place to encourage him. Jonathan so identified with David that his own father tried to kill him because his son wouldn’t betray him.
Much later, David’s mighty men risked their lives in battle to bring him a water bottle because they overheard him saying he was thirsty.
So here’s the hidden story: The people who become part of your tribe are the people you identify with, those you look at and think, “I can stand with them.” They’re like-minded people with one identity, one purpose, and one assignment. This is the group you do life with, cry and laugh with, love and obey King Jesus with, no matter who thinks you’re crazy.
Connecting with the right tribe means things will make sense to you and your tribe that won’t to anyone outside. This will empower you to be brave when everyone else runs scared.
Do you have a tribe you can do life with? Who has King Jesus put you with? Thank Him for those people. Ask Him who needs to be invited in. Ask which tribe you need to join. Attach yourself to a tribe of five.
Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Who Owns You?
Ephesians 2:2 – in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,
Ungodly people don’t understand the prince from hell is all about controlling the air, so they turn over the atmospheres in their head, heart, home to the enemy. That’s not you, my friend! You are a good steward of your atmosphere and set tone of heaven. You are called to create a life-giving environment in the midst of chaos.
Declaration: Jesus is my Prince of Peace. The atmosphere of my heart is peace and joy. I create an atmosphere of order and rest.
Who Owns You?If you’re thinking of redemption as deliverance from some kind of evil situation you were born in –something somebody said, some way somebody attacked you, how you trusted somebody and they let you down – by some kind of a payment, you are on the right track.
What about the evil of disease? What about the evil of a worldwide economic system that wants to enslave you? What about a government that wants to bankrupt you or a medical system that doesn’t want to heal you? See, redemption pays a price so these things cannot enslave you.
One of my favorite things to understand about redemption is redemption changes ownership from this thing, person, situation or memory that owns you. When redemption comes in, it changes ownership.
When you change ownership, it is typically not a peaceful transfer of power. Just open the book of Revelation. When Jesus Christ comes back and says, “You don’t own things anymore, devil from hell. I own things now,” it’s all-out war.
He’s not showing up as a 6-pound baby Jew. He’s coming back as King of kings and what? Lord of lords! Lords are owners. Jesus Christ will return as the owner of everybody from everywhere for all time.
I wanna tell you, that’s what you and I need. We need that kind of a serious redemption. We need the exchange of ownership, where the thing that owned us is cut off. If you don’t know how to have hope for the future, here’s what I wanna tell you: quit it. Let Jesus own your future instead of the lying media.
I double-dog dare you to unplug from the Matrix – to get your head out of the lap of Delilah and say this out loud, “I’m not going look at the world the way I used to because the same people who are peddling fear are selling the cure. My hope is in Jesus Christ, and Jesus owns my year. Demonic world system, you don’t get to dictate what happens in my year, and I will not be enslaved by your narrative. I will not do it. You don’t own me.”
Doesn’t that feel better? It sure does! My friend, say it as often as you have to and remind yourself who your true owner is. He’s the King of kings and Lord of lords – Jesus Christ. He paid the price. You are redeemed.
“These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.” – Revelation 17:14

The Divine Turnaround
Romans 2:1-Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things
In every courtroom, the central figure is the judge. He determines the outcome of every case. He decides what is allowed and what is overruled. But he, himself, is bound by his laws and judgments. In the courtroom of heaven, God is not fooled by the accuser. Instead, He watches our judgments toward those around us.
Declaration: I determine what I will and won’t allow according to the holiness of God. I will hate what He hates, and I will love what He loves.
The Divine TurnaroundRedemption is a really big deal, and it’s something that we need to focus on. You and I need to be redemption fanatics.
When I was writing my book “Redeeming Your Timeline,” Leanna and I talked about redemption every day for about eight months. We’d start just talking about exactly how does redemption work; where does the word “redemption” come from? It became the theme of our house and you know what happened during that time?
Stuff that had always been a curse became a blessing. Stuff that had always been a problem became an asset to us. Places in our life where we were confused, we suddenly had next-level wisdom and we were pouring it into other people’s lives.
Places where we had just suffered terrible defeats and the sorrows of life like every single human being does, we became very hopeful in those places. Why? Because we simply took time to wrap our heads and hearts around what redemption is.
So what is redemption? It is the act of buying something back – paying a price or a ransom to return something to your possession.
You and I, as a church, paid the ransom multiple pastors in Mexico who had been kidnapped by the cartel. We literally pay the price of enslaved little boys and girls throughout the world. There is a literal price tag on them. You and I have paid the price many times for somebody else’s freedom.
It’s the first understanding of what redemption means. And who owed a greater debt that you and I – slaves to sin, death and Satan? The price of our sin and shame is too high to pay on our own. No man in history has been able to do it – not even the first man, Adam, who was the closest to God.
So God Himself became a man and did what only He could do – pay your ransom. Are you free? Have you accepted the gift of redemption? Are you actually walking in it and moving forward redeeming each day? Let Jesus redeem your timeline and watch the divine turnaround.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace – Ephesians 1:7

Identity is Found In Your Origin

Let me start of for just a couple of minutes by unpacking a concept, then I want to jump into the thought and subject matter for tonight…
John 8:32 – “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Freedom: The state of not being imprisoned or enslaved; to be loosed from bondage or captivity
In Luke 4, Jesus is in Nazareth. He goes into the synagogue on the Sabbath, picks up a scroll and begins to read Isaiah 61. He finishes up with saying, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
What He was literally saying: – “I am the Truth and knowing Me sets you free.”
Catch this next statement:
“Truth comes from the source of the thing.”
The only element or entity that knows the truth about a thing is the source from which it came. Everything else is opinion.
Only the manufacturer knows the truth about the product. Everything outside of this is only opinion. So, the only entity that knows the truth about you has to be the source from which you came. Everything else is just an opinion.
The by-product of truth encountered is Freedom
Genesis 1:3 – It begins with 3 words …And God said
vs 6: And God said,
vs 9: And God said,
vs11: and God said,
vs 14: and God said,
vs 20: and God said,
vs 24: and God said,
vs26: and God said,
Eight times in the first 26 verses of the very first chapter in the very first book of the Bible, we see everything God created, He created by saying it – by speaking it into existence. By declaring it.
God speaks things into existence by the power in His word
When God speaks, He creates. Because God is consistent to His character, the same thing happened when He created man. When God creates anything or when He called things into order, He uses the power of His Word.
I want you to get an understanding for how God creates:
When God wanted something done, He first decided what He wanted and why He wanted it. Then He spoke to what He wanted it made of, and whatever God said to what He spoke to, came out exactly as He said.
Let me say this again so you can get a clear understanding of the principle of how God creates by using the power of His word:
When God wanted to create something, He first decided why He wanted it and then He decided what material He wanted it made of. Then, whatever He wanted it made of, He spoke to what He wanted it made of, and whatever God said to what He was speaking to, became exactly what He said.
If you can wrap your head around this principle, you will find this creative process throughout these Scriptures here in Chapter 1.
Look at vs 11
Genesis 1:11 – Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.”
When God wanted trees and vegetation, He spoke to the earth to bring forth vegetation. God wanted plants to come from dirt so He spoke to the dirt and whatever He spoke was brought forth just as He said. God said, “Let there be herbs and grass.” He spoke it to the dirt and the dirt brought forth herbs and grass. Therefore, whatever God speaks to, brings forth what He said.
Just like an arrow released from a bow is strategically aimed at its target, God does the same. He aims His speech, His word. He speaks His word at what He wants things to be made of.
So every plant, tree, herb, grass, and vegetation is made out of dirt because that is what He spoke to. When plants die, they go back to the earth–back to dirt–because that is what they are made of. Truthfully, when you eat an apple, banana, tomato, or a pepper, you’re eating dirt. It’s all dirt because it was made out of dirt.
Hang with me cause I’m going somewhere with all of this.
Vs 14: when God wanted to create the Sun, He spoke to the firmament. The firmament is full of gases so when God said, “Let there be light in the heavens,” that brought forth the sun. The Sun is nothing but gasses.
Vs 20: When God wanted fish
Genesis 1:20 – Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures…”
God said to the what? Waters! Therefore, fish are made from water and dirt. That means the dirt under the water brought forth the fish, so fish are made up of watery dirt.
Vs 24: When God wanted animals, living creatures, cows and horses it says
Genesis 1:24 – Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so.
Once again God spoke to the what? Earth! He said to the earth bring forth what? Living creatures. Therefore, out the earth came what? Whatever living creature God said.
So, every animal you see is 100% dirt. That’s why whenever an animal dies, it deteriorates back to dirt. When you eat animals, you’re eating dirt. It’s all dirt. Because that’s what God spoke to.
So, whatever God wants, He decides what He wants it made out of then He speaks to what He wants it made out of, and whatever God says to what He speaks to comes out to exactly what He said. This is a very important principle in creation.
Now, alongside this is another principle that is very important to understand. Whatever God brought something from, it has to remain attached to wherever it came from in order to live, function, and thrive.
This is a very important principle. When you study creation, everything that came from a specific place has to feed on (or stay connected to) where it came from in order to live.
Plants came from where? The earth so they have to remain attached to the earth in order for them to live. Animals came from earth–the dirt–so they have to keep feeding on the dirt through vegetation, or one another, in order to live. Fish came from water so they have to remain attached to water in order to live. That’s a principle.
Genesis 1:26 – Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Genesis 1:26 – Then God said, “Let Us make man…”
When God wanted fish, He spoke to the waters.
When He wanted stars, He spoke to the firmament.
When He wanted plants, He spoke to the earth.
When He wanted animals, He spoke to the earth/dirt.
When God wanted Man–that’s you and me–He spoke to Himself.
I want you to wrap your understanding around this:
Animals 100% dirt: plants and trees 100% dirt; Stars 100% gases; fish 100% water/dirt; but when it came to Man the source is 100% God.
and we know that God is a Spirit.
That’s why you are a spirit. You don’t have a spirit–you are a spirit–because that’s what God spoke to.
You came out of God, therefore God said to Himself, “Man come forth.” Out of God came forth a beautiful spirit and He named it man.
Spirits have no gender. Nowhere in the Bible will you ever see a male spirit or a female spirit. Spirits have no gender so the word man is a plural word in scripture. All of the species called man are spirit beings. They came out of a spirit because God spoke to Himself and He is a spirit.
Whatever is in water is in fish. Whatever is in earth/dirt is in animals and plants. Whatever is in the firmament is in the stars. Whatever is in God is in man. That’s why God cares about you. That’s why He unconditionally loves you. That’s why His mercies are new every morning. That’s why He so longs to be in relationship with you.
Psalm 8:4-6 (AMP) – What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him? 5 Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,
God loves you so much because you are not only like Him, you are of Him.
That’s why plants can’t fellowship with God. They are 100% dirt. Animals can’t. 100% dirt. Fish 100% dirt. Water, stars 100% firmament. That’s why only you can fellowship and worship God – you’re 100% spirit. They who worship God must worship him in w? Spirit and in Truth.
Man is a Spirit. Then God said to this man who is a spirit…What did He say?
Genesis 1:26 – “Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Now, there seems to be a problem, or a hurdle, because the earth is physical and man is a spirit. God now has to do something to make it work for this spirit-being to be able to actually function in a visible state. He says, “I have created you, man, to have dominion–or rulership–to manage-to govern over the earth. You are to be a leader, a manager (the actual term is “a king” over the earth) but you are a spirit which is invisible and the earth is physical.”
So God now has to take the man, who is spirit, and put him in an earth suit so the man can rule the earth. In Genesis 2:7, God says “I have to make this earth suit for the man to wear.”
Genesis 2:7 (AMP) – then the Lord God formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit].
God had to take the dirt, form a shell–a house–and blew the spirit He created into this dirt body for the man to be able to rule and have dominion.
God’s desire in all of this was for man to rule the earth for Him. The man is like Him, therefore the man who is spirit can relate to God who is spirit. God is invisible. The man is invisible but the body is visible. So, God living in the unseen–who also is living in the spirit of man, which is unseen–now can be living in the seen and “on the scene (which is earth).”
God’s desire is for His will to be communicated from the unseen to the man, who is unseen, who is living in the seen on the scene. So when God wants something done, all He does is communicate it from the unseen to the unseen living in the seen on the scene and then the seen does it so that the unseen can make the seen know what the unseen wants. It’s called, “Kingdom” or “King’s Dominion.”
The King of Heaven dominating earth through His own children.
So, the kingdom of God is God who is King of glory – King of Heaven – dominating the earth through His spirit children and their physical/seen/visible bodies so that the unseen can manifest in the seen.
Therefore, what’s happening in heaven can now happen on the earth without heaven having to leave and relocate.
This is the Kingdom of God.
Before I say anything else,
I believe 2023 is the appointed time for the church, His children, to understand and advance the Kingdom!
The message of the Bible–our manual–our warranty from the manufacturer, is The Kingdom.
The disciples asked Jesus what shall we pray for? He said, “Pray”– that means “You should desire” what God has always wanted.
“Our Father who is in Heaven (the unseen), Hallowed (holy) be Your name.”
That means you have integrity. You will get what you want. Jesus said, “Our Father who is not on earth, You are full of integrity. You’re holy. You will get what You desire…Your Kingdom. Kings-dominion come! Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let what You want in the unseen be seen on the scene.
The Kingdom of God shall be within you.
Who are you? You contain the spirit the likeness of God. You contain the unseen Kingdom within your dirt body. You are a leader, a manager, a ruler, a steward, a king.
After the King of heaven’s death, burial and resurrection, He had them gather in an Upper Room and once again breathed into them another spirit–the Holy Spirit. The Bible says the kingdom of God is love, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17) When you receive the Holy Spirit, you are being reconnected to Heaven so God’s will can once again be done through a dirt suit.
In vs 26 God said… let them have dominion. (everybody say let them). God did not say, “Let US have dominion,” He said, “Let them.” Let who? Them! That means the only creatures who have legal authority on this earth are mankind – humans. I have shared this in the past but let me say it again.
What is a human? The word/term human is a combination of two words: Humus and Man.
The word Humas means “dirt” and the word Man means “spirit being.” When you put the two words together, you get human. A spirit inside a dirt body. According to God, the only creatures with legal authority on earth to function here legally are humans.
That means a spirit in a body. If you don’t have a spirit, you can’t function here legally and you have to leave. That’s why when you die, you leave because you are no longer legal.
That is why satan is illegal. That is why demons are running to and fro trying to find a body to possess. They want to borrow your body because they need to be legal to do their wickedness here. Demon possession is an attempt for spirits who are illegal to become legal. Demons cannot function without a body here on earth.
That’s why satan came in the form of a serpent when he came to tempt Eve in the garden.
That’s why the legions asked Jesus to cast them into pigs when He drove them out of the demoniac of Gadara.
That’s why you can walk up and down the street and they never bother you, but when they get into a person, they become destructive because now they have a body to legally work through.
That’s why you have to be cautious with your body. Your body is important to this earth.
When God said, “Let them have dominion,” He was also taking Himself out of the picture because God is Spirit and He doesn’t have a body. When God said, “Let them,” He became illegal. God is faithful to His word and He won’t violate His own Word. His word is above His own name. God Himself cannot come on planet earth without a body.
Have you ever thought, “Why didn’t God stop Adam and Eve from eating the fruit?” They were sinning. God could not stop them–not because He was weak, not because He wasn’t powerful enough, not because He was not mighty, not because He is not sovereign–but because He is faithful to His own word. He couldn’t come in as a spirit and stop them because He would have broken His word. That would have made Him unfaithful and a liar. That would have made God untrustworthy.
If God would have stepped in and broken His word, we could never trust that He would keep His promises. But because He kept and upheld His word, we can trust that He will keep all of His promises He has made to us.
The bottom line in all of this is our Origin: that we are made from His spirit from Himself. We can see our identity determines our value and our worth. We are children of a sovereign King–a majestic deity. We are not a mistake in His grand scheme. He created us so we could rule, reign, lead, steward, manage–so we would function in dominating creation – that we have a purpose.
Say with me: I have a purpose!
Proverbs 19:21 (NIV) – Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails
God prevailed by creating you to dominate. To become royalty. To discover the truth about who you really are.
Let me say this about identity…It has been a huge revelation for the last decade or so. What is your identity?
Let me put this thought or language around this. Your identity is that you are kids of the King. He made you from Himself to be a visible king on this earth to dominate. That’s your identity – how you dominate for Him. “I’m an armor bearer.” That’s my function as a king. That’s how I dominate. Some say my identity is a warrior. I would say, “You’re a king. You’re the King’s kid who fights as a mighty warrior.”
God prevailed by creating you to dominate. To become royalty. To discover the truth about who you really are.
To bring the invisible Kingdom of heaven and make it visible on your earth. When you unpack the great truth that you have a purpose, you can now unlock the door to another Kingdom principle: Your Potential.
If you are still breathing the air on this side of heaven, you still have unlocked potential.
Did you hear what I said? You have Potential. Say that with me: I have potential. That makes you loaded! Tell your neighbor…YOU ARE LOADED!
Proverbs 25:2 (NKJV) – It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
If you can understand this and discover your identity, purpose, potential, that makes you a bad motor scooter.
Let me end with this thought.
Matthew 16:18 (AMP) – And I say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades (death) will not overpower it
Matthew 16:18 (NKJV) – And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
“The Truth About Who You Really Are” – Your Identity is Revealed in Your Origin

For the Days Are Evil
Genesis 1:31 – Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
What does Father God look like? He looks like goodness! His fingerprint is all around. You see His hand in creation and His heart in redemption. When you look for His face, just look in the mirror. Your spirit was made in His image and it is good!
Declaration: I will carry the name of Christ well today. I will not forsake Him or His call on my life. He is good and I will exalt Him today in word and deed.
For the Days Are EvilI don’t want to be overcome. I don’t want to be devastated. I want to be an overcomer this year and so should you. That means we’re actually grabbing ahold of redemption and bringing it into the timeframe we’re actually living in, why?
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. – Ephesians 5:15-16
This verse is talking about our own timelines. It’s saying we need to be able to bring redemption into every single timeframe because the days we are living in are extremely dangerous.
Because the days are dangerous, you’re gonna need next-level dangerous faith. You can’t have wimpy old church faith anymore. If that’s all you’ve got, you ain’t gonna make it. Folk are dying. I’m talking about dying – and I’m not just talking about COVID or vaccines; I’m talking about people are giving up hope all over the world and just dying of strange things.
What is that all about? Well, if you’re living in any form of hopelessness whatsoever, my friend, you are living under the influence of a lie, and that lie will kill you. It will kill your finances, friendships, or future. It will bury hopes and dreams. Say this out loud: I will know the Truth and the Truth will set me free in 2023.
We are truly living in a day of heightened evil. We need to bring redemption into every single part of our timeframe here at the beginning of this new year as we’re looking at a linear timeline of the next 12 months. You and I need to say, “King Jesus, I want the next 12 months of my life to look like it’s redeemed.”
I don’t know about you, but I want my life to look more like heaven than it looks like hell. I want to see redemption take place in my life and the lives of those I touch. I don’t want to be shamed this year. I want to live an honorable life. I don’t want to be barren. I want to be fruitful this year, amen.
How do you and I do that? Walk circumspectly and not as fools. It’s time for foolish and childish attitudes and behaviors to die. We have to bury immaturity, laziness and self-centered thinking six feet deep and we have to do it right now. That’s what needs to die. When it does, we will truly live.

Resolutely FAT
1 Corinthians 1:30 – But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption…
Do you see your calling? Jesus doesn’t call many wise, mighty or noble people to build His Kingdom. They are too busy building their own. That’s not you. He uses you, in your weakness and humility, to shame those the word exalts. You are worthy of your call.
Declaration: In my weakness, Christ is made strong. I am chosen and equipped for every good work. I will go low to lift the name of Jesus high today.
Resolutely FATOne of the things that happens this time of year is people make resolutions. While some believe it’s some sort of worldly high treason, I’m not against making resolutions. I see them as prophetic declarations God can partner with.
God likes it when people are resolute – when we are determined and persistent. He likes it when people go, “That’s never gonna happen again.” That, my friend, is called repentance. It’s when you turn away from the thing that didn’t work and run to the King of Kings for what does work.
The idea that we shouldn’t make resolutions for the new year is preposterous. “But Pastor Troy, what if I fail?”
Who says you’re not gonna fail? You know what you do if you fail? Get up, that’s what you do, and you keep on plugging, right? God Almighty has not asked you to be successful in all things. He’s asking you to be fruitful in all things. Man, you get up and go after it.
One of the biggest challenges people have at the beginning of the year is actually pulling out the measuring stick or getting on the proverbial scales. Leanna came in the other day and I was on the scale holding my belly in. And she says, “Do you think that helps?” I was like, “It helps me read it!”
All joking aside, I decided I’m gonna be FAT in the year 2023; Faithful, Available, and Teachable, amen. Be ye FAT in Jesus’s name!
I hope and pray in the name of King Jesus that you are indeed faithful and that this year that you’re more available than you’ve ever, ever, ever been to the call of the Lord. That you have a yes in your spirit and that you’re consecrated to the purposes of King Jesus himself.
I pray you’re somebody who lives a passionate walk with the Lord this year, and that you are extremely teachable. I don’t care how old you are, learn some new tricks. I hope you say, “Man, I never saw that like that before” about things that you didn’t even know were holding you back.
It’s a new year and a new you, but only if you resolve to get FAT and happy despite the chaos of the day you live in. There’s a mess of people just waiting for you to fulfill your assignment in 2023.
Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way. – Romans 14:13

Grab and Go!
Deuteronomy 1:29 – “Then I said to you, ‘Do not be terrified, or afraid of them.”
There are giants in the land – debt, doubt, depression and despair – who want to steal your promise, kill your relationships and destroy your testimony. They are no match for your God or the authority He has given you to crush them under your heel. Fear not!
Declaration: I stomp on the head of the enemy today. He may look big, but my God is bigger and He is my Defender. The battle is already won!
Grab and Go!The whole idea of a clean slate, a second chance, a do-over, a reset – it’s just so appealing to us as human beings because we know our tremendous potential for catastrophic failure. We’ve all witnessed it firsthand and some of us lived to tell the tale.
My friend, there’s nobody who offers a second chance like Father God. Nobody. If we partner with Him in our failure and resolve to turn away from that mess, He will work all things for our good – and all means ALL!
“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he’s a new creature, and all things are passed away, and behold, all things become new.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
He’s like, “I know you can grasp the concept of ‘that was then, but this is now,’ and I’ve caused those things to pass away. Now, can you also grasp the new thing?”
It’s the new thing we tend to miss. That’s why the Word of God says in Isaiah 43:18, “Behold, I do a new thing. Shall you not know it?” Or, “Are you going to catch it?”
And we get in the way of God Almighty because we get it settled in our spirit, “OK, I’ve gotten past that,” but we actually miss the new thing because we decide we don’t deserve to move forward from the failure.
But Father God is not like us. He’s patient and kind. Whether it’s the first time or the 15th time we’ve messed up on this point, He still says, “Don’t miss the new thing I have for you” and He rolls the opportunity past us again just hoping that this time, we will pick it up and run with it.
In this time of new beginnings, it’s so important for you to contemplate, “Lord, what is the new thing you have? I do not wanna miss that.” And when you see it coming your way, grab it and go!

A Look at 23 Part 5: God Ain’t Playin’

5783 HEBREW CALENDAR – 3 in the Hebrew is the letter/number Gimmel: a picture of a camel. It not only signifies provision, but bearing burdens. You will need to know Jesus as your burden bearer this year.
I THINK THE THEME OF SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY LINES IS HUGE THIS YEAR
5783 is the Year of Gimmel. It is the Year of the Camel in the Mouth, Divine Fullness, and Perfection. Gimmel is a time of unity and trinity. Gimmel symbolizes the camel, the year of provision for the faithful. It is the year of charity and giving, from material blessing to spiritual provision, and it is the year of the Mimshach anointing that will be poured out for increase and expansion.
ARE YOU TITHING?
Proverbs 3:9-10 – Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first of all your produce; So your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.
Malachi 3:10 – “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.
ARE YOU SOWING INTO THE KINGDOM?
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 – Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
Galatians 6:7 – Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
ARE YOU GENEROUSLY GIVING AS A LIFESTYLE?
Deuteronomy 15:10 – Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.
ARE YOU COMMITTED TO HELPING THE POOR?
Proverbs 22:9 – He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor.
Proverbs 28:27 – He who gives to the poor will never want, but he who shuts his eyes will have many curses.
Matthew 6:3-4 – But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
Don’t play games in your giving.
Be committed. Live the life. Do the thing and don’t play games in your giving to the poor. Give with an understanding of the the fear of the Lord and know that God is watching and ready to release rewards, blessings and favor to people committed to generous giving in covenant with Him.

Gimmel, or 3 in Hebrew, is also about God being your burden bearer, not yourself, and that includes in your giving to the Lord and others.

Be convicted of the games you play with Jesus.

Dr. Eric Berne, the psychologist who introduced the theory of “games” in his bestseller, “Games People Play,” describes a game as
“a recurring set of transactions, often repetitious, superficially plausible, progressing to a well-defined, predictable outcome.” – Dr. Eric Berne,”Games People Play”
In other words, a game is a kind of cover for the truth.
I think if there is anything the globalization of a crises called covid uncovered and exposed in the church was
how much of the actual structure of the church is just a game.
What is the Mission of your church?
What can you point to that demonstrates “the kingdom of heaven looks just like that”?
Are you open, real and genuine?
Are you serious about the word of God, the fear of the Lord and the Kingdom of Heaven?
Are you activating your local body to be who they are called to be whenever, where ever and however they can?
Is there an ongoing witness of the goodness of God, salvations, transformed lives, discipled Christians, healthy families?
Do you love what God loves and love each other?
Do you hate what God hates?
Do you do all for King Jesus and does everything you do point people to Jesus?
Are you looking for the return of King Jesus?
Are you blessing the poor, taking care widows, healing the afflicted?
Are you rescuing people in any way at all?
Is there any of it? Some of it? None of it? Can we be real and just stop playing our games?

I WANT TO SPEAK TO EVERY INDIVIDUAL CHRISTIAN NOW AND ASK YOU ABOUT YOUR TRUE SELF-AWARENESS.
Is worship really real to you or is it just a game you play because other Christians do it?
Is your walk with God real? Do you find God in your prayer time? Do you seek after God in a real and radical way? Can you think of any part of your life with Jesus in it?
Do you read the word of God. Are your praying with other Christians? Are you walking in the spirit?
See you can approach God on your terms like Cain: In the process of time….it will come to pass…..that you can bring the fruit of the ground..which is not what God asked for….
Show God how hard you played your game.
Show how committed you were to your own agenda and the paradigm of your own form of godliness and God knows you’re just playing a game.
The fire does not fall on your sacrifice.
You have no power at all. You’ve got no breath of God. You’ve got no transformation or true presence of Jesus in your life. You can get mad and throw your fit, but it doesn’t matter. Because God is not in your game.
One of the games I want to encourage Christians to repent of is this…
2 Timothy 3:1-5 – But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

I think the prophetic changed drastically and dramatically in 2020.
My prophetic lens changed in an astounding way during that turbulent transition from a value to know what was coming to a value of what God is saying: TRUTH.
FEAR THE LORD
“fear Him” (with reference to God) appears 23 times, “fear the Lord” appears 23 times in the Bible.
Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. (Exodus 19:16)
Then Joseph said to them on the third day, “Do this and live, for I fear God… (Genesis 49:19)
THE FEAR OF THE LORD = CONSTANT AWARENESS GOD IS WATCHING EVERYTHING WE DO AND KEEPING COUNT. HOW WE LIVE OUR LIVES, AND EVEN HOW WE ARE WILLING TO THINK, IS CONFORMED TO THIS.
The FEAR OF THE LORD is actually a SPIRIT that can rest upon us if we go after it:
Isaiah 11:2 – The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
Benefits of the fear of the Lord – Wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge are part of the fear of the Lord package!
I’ve got to be living this at home as a lifestyle. It’s not a program of the church. It’s the way we live as Christian people with Christian families.
How can we be papas and mamas to the fatherless in our society if we are not having a real move of God in our own families?
How can expect to see revival in our nation if there is not an ongoing encounter in our own homes?

Pray with your kids. Talk Jesus with your family. Go to church together. Read the word of God. Have communion in your home. Practice shabbat shalom….
2023 is a very covenantal year where God is moving in our covenant relationships.
1 Samuel 20:23 – “…indeed the Lord be between you and me forever.”
The fear of the Lord
Exodus 20:23 – You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.
Darrin Stott was talking about Jesus being enough this year and he mentioned the last words of Buddha on his death bed compared to the last words of Jesus on the cross:

The word “Death” is in the Bible 138 times or 6 x 23
Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Psalms 23 – Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with
The fear of the Lord is the constant awareness of His presence.
Matthew 1:23 – “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring. forth a son. They shall call his name Immanuel;” which being interpreted is, “God with us.”
God is with you in 2023
I declare in Jesus’ name that I am alive in Christ and dead to the world in 2023.
The life of Christ will be on me.
His resurrection power will flow through me, and goodness and mercy will follow me.
The gates of hell will not prevail over my family or me, and I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

The Power of Redemption
Ezekiel 1:28 – Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.
There are not enough words to describe the majesty of our God. In the rainiest of days – gloomy times when darkness seems impenetrable – remember your God never leaves you nor forsakes you. His glory lives inside you!
Declaration: My heart is a home for the Holy Spirit. I will steward His presence with awe and wonder through calm and storm.
The Power of RedemptionAny time there’s something that’s shameful, bring the love of God in and you actually bring honor there. Where there’s darkness, where there’s been lack, redemption is just like the principle of Jesus turning water into wine. It was not only more than enough, it was the very best!
I love talking about the power of redemption. Redemption changes everything. It changes time. It changes ownership, and not just for a little time, but it changes everything for all time.
I know it’s the beginning of the new year, and what’s real is this time of year, we’re always asking, “What can I do different? How can I do something better? What are my goals for the new year to come?”
And I hear a lot of people saying, “Man, you shouldn’t make goals and lists. That’s just a trap.” It’s not a trap. It’s a good idea to set goals. It’s a good idea to put together your plans so the Lord can establish those things.
It’s actually good to measure things and to look back and go, “OK, this is where I could have done a whole lot better last year and these are some places I had tremendous challenges. I don’t need to have challenges with those things this year. I just need to be an overcomer in this day.”
Being an overcomer is a bid deal in the Kingdom and Jesus actually challenges us to overcome past failures by measuring what we’ve heard, seen and learned. Why? So He can reward us.
Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.” – Mark 4:24
I want more. How about you? Do you want more of the blessings of wisdom, insight and understanding. Could you use an upgrade in spiritual gifts or an infusion of faith or finances? It’s actually wise to set goals and measure your impact so you can qualify for more.
Redemption takes your failures and shortcomings and makes them into stepping stones for better. Are you an overcomer in 2023?

Extreme Days
1 Samuel 1:27 – For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him.
The next generation needs you. While they seem rebellious and unreachable, they are seeking Me. Help them find Me by loving them unconditionally and showing them truth and kindness in Word and deed.
Declaration: I was born for such a time and generation as this! I am a sheepdog and will round up the lost sheep for my Good Shepherd in 2023.
Extreme DaysThe number 23 is a very interesting number to me because it’s a very extreme number and this is a very extreme day we’re living in.
When it’s not redeemed, 23 always represents death. Always. I can see it all through history. Bonnie and Clyde got wiped out on May 23rd, right? Right after she published in the newspaper this world famous poem that ended with, “It’s death for Bonnie and Clyde.”
Praise God for men of God that will rise up and say, “We’re going to stop your murderous baloney.” And with that, Frank Hamer came out of retirement and put an end to 23-year-old Bonnie’s spree of death and destruction.
So, 23 is awesome. In the redeemed state, it literally means you know that God is with you – the Good Shepherd from Psalms 23. And not only you know that God is with you, but people look over at you and go, “That man walks in the presence of the Lord in a tremendous way.”
There are over 31,000 verses in the Bible. So, what is the 23,000th verse? This will blow your mind:
“Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’ – Zechariah 8: 23
Eight is the number that represents new beginnings and 23 in the positive is about resurrection power and life-giving! This verse is about God’s covenant people rising up to take their place as the Tribulation witnesses, but it’s also for you, right here, right now: “For we have heard that God is with you.”
This is a great year to make better decisions and have fewer regrets. While 23 in the negative, or unredeemed, represents death – and death is all around us this year – if you’re determined to live a redeemed lifestyle of following Jesus in 2023, you will be filled with resurrection power.
It’s really up to you. It’s your choice: Life or death? Resurrection or the grave? The valley of the shadow of death or the table in the presence of your enemies? Choose well because so many people depend upon your ability to bring life in these extreme days.
