Anything Less
Galatians 6:14 – But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
In a world where pride is celebrated, choose humility. In a time where good is considered evil and evil is considered good, do good anyway. Do not be overwhelmed by the cultural shift happening before your very eyes. The mobs of modern man cannot compete with this age-old truth: Christ is risen from the dead according to the scriptures. When you do, the world will have no hold on you.
Declaration: Jesus Christ saved me. He raised me from the dead. I will not boast in man, but in my Savior God!
ANYTHING LESSYour life is really a big deal and it needs to be lived well. God is trusting you to live the abundant life He paid for you to live.
There’s a big difference between an epic life and a nominal life. Epic means heroic, majestic, impressively great. Nominal means existing in name only, very small. And what’s real is, it’s up to you if your walk with Jesus is epic or if it is nominal.
Because God gave you free will to love Him or not, He also gave you free will to decide how much of Him and His blessings you want. It’s up to you. It’s not up to anybody else.
You can have the kind of walk with Jesus that provokes people to jealousy or you can be the kind of Christian that causes people to hate Christianity. It’s up to you. You choose.
My friend, once you declare you love Jesus, once you take on the name of Christ and call yourself a Christian, you’re under the world’s microscope. Unbelievers are watching – just waiting to criticize any mistake or misstep just like the dreaded Russian judge at the Olympics.
Instead of a low score, the world is waiting to brand you a hypocrite in the hope you believe their assessment. However, if you’re living an epic life full of God’s promises, you should know you’re identity.
When you know who you are to Jesus – and hypocrite isn’t in his vocabulary – you understand your purpose and go after your destiny. That’s an epic life. Do you have time or energy for anything less?
God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. – Acts 17:27

When You Act Like Jesus
Romans 6:13 – And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
There are four entrances evil uses to overwhelm you: your eyes, ears, mouth and actions. What are you looking at and listening to? What are you talking about and what words do you use? These “members” affect your thoughts and become actions–blessings or curses. Choose life! Choose to be a blessing to God and others by remembering Jesus is raised from the dead and so are you, so act like it!
Declaration: I am holy and set apart for the Lord. I do not look at, listen to or talk about ungodly things. I pursue righteousness.
WHEN YOU ACT LIKE JESUSYou and I weren’t made to live our lives in comfort and safety attending Bible studies and planning potlucks. Nope. Jesus made you to be the solution to someone else’s problem.
You see, in the wilderness, God is the solution to all your problems. You just follow Him and He takes care of you. While that sounds great to a lot of you, it really isn’t. It’s like being a child who never grows up. It’s actually a curse to act like a kid when you’re a grown man.
You were designed for the Promised Land. You were made for conquest and construction. You take territory from the enemy and build on it because, in the Promised Land, you are the solution.
In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus. Christ himself was like God in everything. But he did not think that being equal with God was something to be used for his own benefit. – Philippians 2:5-6
He says, “I send you out as lambs among wolves.” He doesn’t send you into safe places where you can figure everything out. He sends you into deep places and He’s trusting you to be rock-solid about His love toward you and yours toward Him – even when you don’t have a clue what you’re doing.
Here’s what’s real: It’s OK to be clueless when you’re off your map and into uncharted territory. Never prophesied over a stranger before? It’s OK. Just do it and Jesus will give you the words. Never laid hands on the sick and declared healing in Jesus’ name? It’s OK. The results are God’s, not yours.
Comfort kills and safety swallows hopes and dreams. Step into the Promised Land and be the solution someone else has been waiting for. They’ll see Jesus when you act like Jesus.

It’s a Powerful Thing
Ephesians 6:12 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We are in a supernatural battle for the soul of America. Powerful principalities are vying for the allegiance of your family. You have been given the authority that breaks the spirit of chaos. Use it to give the Prince of Peace dominion over your body, mind, and spirit. When Jesus shows up, the prince of the power of the air has to leave.
Declaration: The Prince of Peace rules and reigns in my life. I have authority over the devil and I will use it today.
IT’S A POWERFUL THINGI know for a fact that serving Jesus will change your life. When I say that, I’m not saying it from some high and lofty tower. I’m saying from the lowest of the low places – because I’ve been there – that God Almighty is faithful. He’s faithful.
There are three different premises I want to give to you today that I can tell you have absolutely changed my life when it comes to serving.
The first one is this: You get Jesus into any situation by serving Him in that situation. Broke? Serve Jesus with your money by tithing or sowing into Kingdom projects and people. Depressed or lonely? Bring Jesus into that dark place by serving someone worse off than you. It will bring you joy, I’m telling you.
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. – Hebrews 6:10
Second, serving is power because serving actually demonstrates Jesus to a lost and hurting world. I’m not talking about works here. I’m talking about acts – just like the disciples when they got filled with the Holy Spirit. Feed the hungry. Clothe the naked. Prophesy over the lost, heal the sick and raise the dead, amen.
Finally, the love of God is found in serving and selflessness. When you put someone else before you, when you put your shoes on a prisoner in a trash dump or spend the money you were saving for a trip to Disney World on freeing a slave across the world that you’ll never meet, you’ll know the love of God.
The amazing thing is, so will they! Serving and selflessness should be the calling card of every drop-dead, sold-out Jesus freak. Is it yours? When was the last time you demonstrated Jesus? If it’s been a while, serve somebody. It’s a powerful thing.

To Be Alone
Ephesians 6:11 – Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Satan isn’t hiding anymore. He doesn’t have to. His schemes are embraced by the rebellious and his lies are truth to the woke mob. Turn off the media madness! Get into the word and prepare for battle. Knowing your enemy means knowing your God. If you know the real thing, the counterfeit will not deceive you. Armor up. This is war!
Declaration: I will not give up the helmet of salvation. I recognize the enemy and his traps because I know the One True God!
TO BE ALONEI have officiated hundreds of weddings in my 20 years in ministry. I have also attended a few, and one thing I can be certain of: Genesis 2:23-24 will be preached.
It’s beautiful the way God knew it was not good to be alone. If it wasn’t good for Him, it sure wouldn’t be good for the first man, Adam. It’s amazing how the Lord made woman. She completed Adam and, together, they completed God’s family. He was their Groom. They were His bride.
But because of their rebellion, sin and death entered the world and corrupted everything – especially their relationship with their Groom.
Thousands of years in the future, Jesus Christ – the second man Adam – would actually complete the mission of the first Adam, to have a bride.
Jesus hung on the cross and when His side was pierced, blood and water mixed came out and the Bride of Christ – the Church – was born.
The whole point of humanity is not just to be His servants. That’s what the Lord has angels for. The point of humanity is for you and me to be His Bride. He wants to share all that He has with you.
My friends, it’s not crazy to seek God in a radical way. That’s what romance is all about and that’s what God Almighty created you for. He is love. Love requires intimacy – a special secret place of relationship. Why? Because it is not good for you to be alone.
For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. – 2 Corinthians 11:2

You Are His Promised Land
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER – 6/10/2023
Joshua 6:10 – Now Joshua had commanded the people, saying, “You shall not shout or make any noise with your voice, nor shall a word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I say to you, ‘Shout!’ Then you shall shout.”
There is a time for words and a time for silence. Proverbs says, “A fool vents all his feelings, but a wise man holds them back.” There is great wisdom in silence. Ask the Holy Spirit to counsel you on your words. He will let you know when to be silent and when to shout for His victory.
Declaration: I do not partner with drama. I will not create it with my words or actions.
YOU ARE HIS PROMISED LANDThe Bible talks about a land flowing with milk and honey, also known as the Promised Land. For milk and honey to be produced, a lot of things have to go right for a very long time.
Think about all that has to happen for milk to be produced. Think about all the work that goes into a spoonful of honey.
When God talks about Promised Land living, which is where you come against giants, mountains, walled cities, and 31 kings, He’s talking about obstacles in your life. On planet earth, you’re going to have to take a stand from time to time. Are you willing to sign up for a life that is not about survival? That’s the wilderness.
If you’re about advancing the Kingdom, the Promised Land is perfect for you. There’s a whole different set of rules in the Promised Land. In the wilderness, all you need to do is keep God before you. That’s it. In the Promised Land, God is behind you and He says, “Sic ‘em!”
In the Promised Land, He gets behind you and says, “Any place you put your foot, I will give to you.” That’s that promise from the book of Isaiah:
You will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘Turn to the left or turn to the right.” – Isaiah 30:21
God is going to steer you from behind. Like a general on the battlefield, He will give you your marching orders and send you out into battle, but He doesn’t leave you. It may seem weird not to have Him in front leading, but believe me, His vantage point is perfect.
He wants to give you the victory because He’s producing milk and honey in you. He’s building the Promised Land in-between your two ears. Yes, you are His Promised Land.

It’s that Simple
Proverbs 6:9 – How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep?
There is a big difference between being “woke” and “awake” in today’s culture. The leftist mob demands you bow a knee to its woke ideology. Awaken O’ sleeper! Get up and say no to that trash! It’s time to take on hell with a water pistol and tell the devil to go back to the pit he came from. Stand!
Declaration: The mob has no power over me. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me for wisdom, understanding, counsel, might and the reverential fear of the Lord.
IT’S THAT SIMPLEWhen all hell is breaking loose, you stand. When you don’t know what do to, stand is what you do. You hold on to the righteousness of Jesus Christ. That’s what it means to stand.
But listen, you don’t have to stand for forever. You’ll get to advance again, you will. The Lord will show up on your battlefield. The momentum will change. Jehovah Nissi will show up. His banner will be seen and you’ll know the King has shown up on your battlefield.
That’s when the momentum changes. That’s the whole understanding of Jehovah Nissi and ‘The Lord is our Banner.” We need Him to be our banner and fight for us because we don’t fight against flesh and blood, no sir. We fight “against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil… Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. – Ephesians 1:10-11,13
The devil isn’t God’s enemy. He is your enemy. He is my enemy. He hates and wants to destroy mankind because we’re what He wanted to be – made in the image of God and destined to be sons, daughters and heirs to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
We may be powerful, but we don’t always know how to fight. We have to learn it and lesson number one is learning to stand. Can you do that? Can you dig in your heels and say, “My God is good and He’s going to show up here”? You can. Stand your ground. It’s that simple.

Heaven’s Agenda
Micah 6:8 – He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
Humility is the currency of Heaven. You were called to do justice: to give the widow a home, the orphan a family, and the homeless a community. When you bring the freedom of Jesus to the oppressed, you bring a smile to the heart of Father God. He loves it when you imitate Him!
Declaration: I was made to love God and people. I lay down my desires today to put others first for the Kingdom.
HEAVEN’S AGENDAI love talking about the power of newness. Knowing Father God is all about newness should give you great hope for the future.
But remember, newness requires struggle. The point is not that you have labor pains. The point is that a baby is coming. And the “baby” is the answer to so many of your problems. Amen.
Newness is the great gift King Jesus offers. The numerical value of the name “Jesus” is 888 and eight is the number for “new beginnings.” If you’re worried about the number 666, why don’t you just get to know brother 888?
A new beginning is freedom. He is a freedom fanatic. The definition of the word “freedom”: the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. Jesus hates slavery, especially slavery to sin and death.
God is love. Love requires freedom will or it’s not love, right? So, love requires freedom and without love, freedom is useless. The Word even says freedom is actually the calling card of the presence of the Lord.
“Now the Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.” – 2 Corinthians 3:17
Freedom is the agenda of Heaven. Is it yours? Pursue newness in your relationships. Pursue freedom in your finances and from hurts, habits and hang-ups that hold you back. Embrace newness in every aspect of your life. Make Heaven’s agenda your agenda.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” – Galatians 5:1

Beware the Doctrine of Balaam

Some of us wonder why we fight the same emotional and spiritual battles over and over again.
Through my own experiences, I realized there are both external and internal reasons:
External: Spiritual WarfareInternal: I open the door which allowed the attackWe understand spiritual warfare. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you know we have an enemy (satan) who will try to engage you – especially if you are advancing the Kingdom of Heaven.
What do I mean by “We open the door?” You’ll understand in a few minutes.
Many of you know the biblical story of the donkey that spoke from the book of Numbers 22: 22-40. That is about Balaam of Beor. We read about him in Numbers 22 – 31.
Numbers 22: 1-6 (NKJV) – Then the children of Israel moved, and camped in the plains of Moab on the side of the Jordan across from Jericho. 2 Now Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites. 3 And Moab was exceedingly afraid of the people because they were many, and Moab was sick with dread because of the children of Israel. 4 So Moab said to the elders of Midian, “Now this company will lick up everything around us, as an ox licks up the grass of the field.” And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time. 5 Then he sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beor at Pethor, which is near the River in the land of the sons of his people, to call him, saying: “Look, a people has come from Egypt. See, they cover the face of the earth, and are settling next to me! 6 Therefore please come at once, curse this people for me, for they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”
In Numbers 22:10-12, Scripture goes on to say that Balaam asked God if he can curse the Israelites.
Numbers 10:12 (NKJV) – And God said to Balaam, “You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.”
You would think it’s a done deal. The story ends there. Scriptures shows that Balaam wanted the money being offered so he instructed the king on how the Israelites could be cursed.
Scriptures exposing Balaam’s greed:
Jude 1:11 (NKJV) – Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.
2 Peter 2:15 (NKJV) – They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

Balaam didn’t curse the Israelites. He couldn’t. But he did tell Balak that the only way the blessing on the children of Israel could be overcome would be for them to forsake their blessings.
Numbers 31:16(NKJV) – Look, these women caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to trespass against the Lord in the incident of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the Lord.
Revelation 2:14 (NKJV) – But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
So Balak used the Moabite women to seduce the Israelite men. The Israelites destroyed themselves by forsaking their own mercies.
So you are asking, “John what does this story have to do with me?”
Because you are a blessed person and no undeserved curse can land on you.
Proverbs 26:2 (NLT) – Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse will not land on its intended victim.
Why do you think there’s a liquor store on every corner? Why is pornography easily accessible?
So that you will forsake your blessing and curse yourself.
I mentioned it earlier: We fight spiritual battles, but sometimes we open the door.
How?
Public View
Pride
Self-Promotion
Gossip
Slander
Greed
Pornography
Alcoholism
The other day, I felt anxious all of a sudden. I prayed, and asked where did it come from?
A thought came to me: “public view, pride, and self-promotion.”
I repented and renounced partnering with those spirits. And with my authority, I bound the spirits, commanded them to leave, and asked the Holy Spirit to fill any place other spirits took hold in my life.
Within a few minutes the anxiousness was gone. Let me walk you through an example of that prayer. (SEE VIDEO)
I want to pray for you and break the doctrine of Balaam that’s been in your life. (SEE VIDEO)
I challenge you, make sure you can share the gospel. You never know when God will ask you to share it.
This is not the time to just be a church attendee. You’re the answer in this hour.

Already Enough
1 Timothy 6:7 – For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
A good father supplies all His family needs. He is selfless and life-giving. So it is with your Heavenly Father. He has given you every good thing for life and godliness. Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you and will supply all your needs.
Declaration: Naked I came into the world and naked I will go. Blessed be the name of the Lord. I trust in Him.
ALREADY ENOUGHJohn received an awesome revelation that we – the Church – need to return to a lifestyle of being loved. We need to change and repent in how we think.
“We love Him because He first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19
You may have believed the lie that you have to perform to be loved. You think you have to measure up and jump through all these different hoops to be worthy. Why? Because you do it for your husband or your wife. You jump through hoops for your kids, your boss, your teacher or your coach.
Everything you and do in this world is about performance. You think, “If I do this, then I’ll receive that.” That may hold some truth in the world, but it’s not how the Kingdom works.
With God, you don’t have to perform. You don’t have to do anything but respond.
He wants to love you. Some of you need to hear that you are trapped. You are connected to chains and being held captive because the only way you can be loved is according to how you perform. That’s not what God is inviting you into.
He’s inviting you to receive and to respond to His love. You can’t earn it. You don’t deserve it. It’s a gift.
“A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.” – John 3:27
Stop trying to earn God’s love. It’s already yours. You don’t have to drive yourself crazy trying to measure up. You’re already enough.

Too Much to Leave You This Way
Hosea 6:6 – For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
God never wanted the blood of lambs and cattle. Man’s rebellion brought that curse upon the earth, but Jesus’ selfless sacrifice reversed the curse of animal sacrifice. What does the Lord require of you now? Mercy and forgiveness for those who have hurt you. Your time and attention on Him and His word. Loving God and loving people is the offering He desires.
Declaration: I will do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with my God today. I am the sacrifice He deserves.
TOO MUCH TO LEAVE YOU THAT WAYWhat are the things you are absolutely rock-solid on because you have experienced God in those places and you know His power? You’ve seen His hand and know His majesty by personal experience?
You know what that is? That’s being a person of revelation that is tapped into testimony.
Just so you know, your testimony is not what you did before you were saved. That’s your history. We don’t live according to history because our history is all about death.
Your testimony is who Jesus is to you. How He’s shown up and how you have known Him by personal experience. When you testify to Jesus, it’s all about how He saved you and redeemed every part of your life. It’s all about life.
Because you and I are carnal, one of the things we look for is we come before God and we’re looking for enhancement. We just want to be better, do better and have better. That’s a pretty small vision.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. – 2 Corinthians 3:18
God’s not looking for enhancement. No, sir! He’s looking for transformation. He doesn’t want to just take what you’ve got and make it better, He wants to take what you’ve got, throw it in the trash and give you something awesome – something that looks like Him. Amen.
When He does that – when He starts moving you into your destiny – you’ll find your testimony is full of life. It’s full of upgrade, yes, but better than that, it’s full of newness. The experience of Jesus is always transformational. He loves you how you are, but He also loves you too much to leave you that way!
