PULL UP A CHAIR
Come in and have a meal with Me. Sit at My table and take your time. We have eternity to share together as family. You are always welcome to share your daily bread for I Am the Bread of Life.
PULL UP A CHAIR
Down through the years, the table has become a symbolic picture of family. The people we loved the most sat with us at the table. At the table we’ve shared meals, stories, and dreams. We laughed and cried together. We prayed, invited God to become part of our family, and gave Him thanks for all He’s done for our family.
Honestly, we shouldn’t be surprised that throughout the Bible God has a way of showing up at tables. He is, after all, a Father and what’s a family meal without daddy?
In fact, one of the Biblical symbols for the Kingdom is the table. It’s where life is shared and Father God so wants you to share your heart with Him. The table is that place. It’s there, you are filled time and time again. Him being the “Bread of Life” and His word being our “daily bread” means we literally ingest His word into our deepest being and let it nourish us to the bones.
In short, He is life and the table is the place He chooses to feed that life to us. But know this: the enemy has a table too. While his offerings are always tempting and may taste sweet, there is always a bitter ending to dining with the devil.
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons. – 1 Corinthians 10:21
Are you getting the picture that tables are places of deep fellowship? Of secrets spoken, dreams unveiled, hope, hurt and healing? That’s what happens at Father God’s table. Pull up a chair. Your Daddy is always waiting for you.

ARE YOU FOOLING YOURSELF?
Nothing can be hidden from Me. If I saw you at the bar last Saturday, I also saw you in church the next morning. I still love you! Nothing you do will make Me love you any less, but your choices can cause you to love Me more.
FOOLING YOURSELF
The first murder was when Cain killed his brother Able. Cain was jealous because God accepted Able’s offering, but not his.
So, Cain tells God, “God, I brought you my tomatoes, and them are the best-looking tomatoes I’ve ever seen. Able didn’t do nothing but kill an animal. He says he’s saved because You say he’s saved. That ain’t right. I’m better than him. I’m smarter and way more awesome than he is. You should be blessing me.”
How did God respond? He didn’t.
But one day, God asked him, “Cain, why are you mad? If you walk in the right things you’ll be happy, and if you walk in the wrong things you’ll be upset all the time.” Then, Father God says this amazing thing, “If you don’t walk in the things that are right, sin is crouching at your door.” That literally means sin was waiting to pounce on him.
God gave Cain a personal warning and he wouldn’t listen.
One day Cain got so mad at Abel, he killed him. Cain went about his business when God shows up and asks, “Hey Cain, where’s your brother?” God doesn’t ask because He doesn’t know. He asks because He does know.
Cain answered, “Oh, I didn’t know it was my job to watch after my brother.” Cain must have been shaking in his sandals when God responds to his rebellious words:
“…The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.” – Genesis 4:10
What a concept! If we walk in His ways and follow His instructions, we will be blessed and happy. If we don’t, we will be miserable with sin crouching, just waiting to pounce. Cain thought he got away with killing his brother because no one saw him do it.
Just like Cain, we cannot hide anything from an all-knowing God. You would think this knowledge would be enough to get folks on the right path, but it’s not. Like Cain, we create our own ways to God – our own religion based on how we want to approach Him.
“How happy is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways!
You will surely eat what your hands have worked for. You will be happy, and it will go well for you.” – Psalm 128:1-2
Look, God’s way is higher and better than ours. Don’t be like Cain, unable to fight off the crouching lion of sin. Take this warning and follow the right path – God’s instructions – because, in the end, you’re only fooling yourself.

ARE YOU LIVING AN EPIC LIFE?
As a father, I love to give you gifts – especially joy. Remember that joy is separate from happiness which disappears in an instant. But the joy that I give is a state of being. Keep your eyes fixed on mine, and you will always feel my joy in your heart.
HEAVENLY CELEBRATION
You are so important to the Kingdom of Heaven. God’s desire is that you live life to the fullest. Day by day He reveals himself to you, but you only have a small window of time, a short opportunity to actually live out and personify the heart of Jesus toward you.
Jesus says, “Fear not little children, it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Listen, He’s a good Dad to you and it is His great delight to bless you. He loves to watch you discover, then walk out the life He has for you.
The things you’ve missed in the past don’t matter anymore because He has unbelievable joy when you decide to walk in the thing He has called you to. The opportunities you’ve passed up don’t have anything on the incredible joy He has over you.
That’s the difference in living an epic life and living a nominal life.
We must decide right now that our lives are important and that we’re not going to live some plain Jane life that doesn’t make a difference. This doesn’t mean we will be celebrated on earth. There are people who live epic lives that the world will never celebrate.
Just because the world does not celebrate you doesn’t mean that heaven doesn’t celebrate you. You might not be a celebrity on earth, but you are celebrated in heaven.
“The LORD your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.” – Zephaniah 3:17
Living an epic life is believing that no matter the circumstances that surround you, you can have joy because you trust that God has everything under His control. The Lord has His hand on you guiding you through thick and thin.
Earthly recognition will fade away, but heaven will never stop rejoicing. Are you living an Epic lifestyle? Are you allowing God to take over even the smallest areas of your life? The wondrous plan He has is waiting for you with unspeakable joy. Take hold and believe it.

MAMMA MIA!
I hear you. I know it seems like I Am not listening – that I Am silent, but I assure you, I Am not. My timing is perfect, so learn to wait. If the answer is no, I have something better than what you asked for.
MAMMA MIA!
Unlike the world, God loves to include women in everything He does and Jesus says moms are very important to the Kingdom. One of His last acts on earth was to take care of His mama.
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother…When Jesus saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. – John 19:25-27
Mary had a big impact on Jesus. Just like her, moms are supernaturally anointed to make a powerful impact upon their child’s life. The sheer amount of time mama’s spend with their kids is a big part of that.
Another huge role of the mama is to be the healer. That’s why it’s so horrible – even demonic – when a mama is the hurter, when the mama refuses to make things better. That goes against her anointing.
Just like that, mama’s carry influence from season to season that nobody else in the world can carry. Even dad cannot carry it the way a mama can. Why?
Because mamas tend to grow as their children grow. Dads don’t really do that. Now hopefully, dads will grow, but dads are so single-minded, they don’t typically see all the things mom sees. Men are made to be more single-minded. That’s how God Almighty designed men.
That’s why mamas see things daddies don’t see, and they can heal things that daddies cannot heal.
To all you moms out there who feel like your words are falling on deaf ears, if you feel like your children will never get saved and your prayers concerning your kids will never be answered, I tell you God sees you. He hears you and cherishes your prayers. He loves it when you bring healing and influence your kids for the Kingdom.
Jesus loves His mama. He loves you and yours too.

FROM WOE TO GO!
I call you holy, acceptable and loved. Let no other thought invade your heart. Know I proved My love for you when My Son hung on the cross to shed His blood. This blood has given you right standing with Me.
FROM WOE TO GO!
Can you believe God is good in the midst of terrible circumstances? Then you know how to stand. You can’t stand if you don’t know God is good, and you can’t follow if you’re not willing to be led. Finally, you won’t be able to go until you are healed.
Are you willing to entertain the fact that God Almighty is going to be leading you into places you have not been willing to go – painful places? Isaiah was.
“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.” – Isaiah 6:1-2
And in the midst of this holy place, Isaiah begins to get overwhelmed with how he doesn’t belong in this room. And he says this:
“Woe is me for I am undone…Then flew one of the seraphim unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.”—Isaiah 6:5-6
What goes on the altar? The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ goes on the altar. So He put a new word in him and it cleansed him. So then Isaiah said,
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then said I, “Here am I. Send me!” – Isaiah 6:8
The brother (Isaiah) went from “woe” to “go” because he was healed. So, here’s the dill pickle. The reason so much of the church doesn’t go is because they’re not healed. You have to receive your healing.
The holiness the Lord Jesus has given you is not your holiness – it’s His holiness, that you get to call yours. Jesus brags on you, on any little step that your willing to take for Him, even in the midst of great big messes and it looking crazy. He’s applauding you.
Today, walk in your God-given identity in Christ. You are cleansed and made whole by the blood He shed on the cross for you. Rejoice and be healed!

SHOW OFF YOUR SCARS
I was pierced for your transgressions. I was wounded for your sins. But know this: I Am healed because I Am your healing. Give Me your wounds so I can heal them into scars that are beautiful in My sight.
JESUS DIGS YOUR SCARS
Jesus is not just a King, He’s a warrior King. When you lose battles He’ll tell you to show Him your scars.
The world will never tell you this, but Jesus will: It’s not shameful for a warrior to lose a battle. It is, however, shameful for a warrior to lose the war.
God Almighty has not called you to win everything. Sometimes you’re not going to be smart enough. Sometimes you’re not going to have enough money. Sometimes you’re going to have all the faith that you need but you’re just not in the right place at the right time and things don’t work.
That doesn’t mean you’re the devil and it doesn’t mean God has abandoned you. So, don’t abandon God. Amen.
All that means is that you lost a battle. And losing a battle isn’t the end of your fight for the better, higher things of God. It doesn’t mean the book is closed on your fight for the salvation of your friend or loved one. I’ve lost that battle many times, and I will tell you, I will continue to demonstrate the Gospel to those people until the war is won.
Remember, you’re not called to be successful in all things. You’re not called to win every battle. Jesus knows you’re going to get your hat handed to you, but just getting out there on the field is a way to bear some fruit. Yes, you are called to bear fruit!
Warriors have scars, not open wounds that they constantly show people and talk about how the battle almost killed them. Scars are wounds that have healed and you get back to business again. Jesus has scars. He loves scars because they represent a war that He fought against death and darkness and He won. Scars are proof that God heals.
Let’s you and I get some battle scars. Let’s go after the lost, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and house the orphan and the widow. Sometimes, we’ll lose the battle, but the fruit we bear is all part of preparing to win the war. Jesus digs your scars!
From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. – Galatians 6:17

PROBLEMS OR HIS PRESENCE?
I have offered you Myself. I come to you as a Father, a Brother, a Comforter – there are so many ways I have given Myself to you. The cross of Calvary was just the beginning. My Presence is forever.
PROBLEMS OR THE PRESENCE?
Do not consider anything without considering the Presence of the God in your life first. You’re just asking for problems when you don’t bring along the presence.
When you go into a situation, where’s the Presence of God within that situation? Did you look before you leaped? Do you need an example?
One of the things I tell people when it comes to their marriage is this: If you want to end up filing for divorce, all you have do is not consider your life without considering your spouse first. Selfishness is the root of most failed marriages.
Want to avoid the pain and problems? Put your spouse first. Don’t let yourself think about your life without first thinking of your spouse and you’ll look up one day and it’ll be your 30th anniversary. That’s what happens when you seek God’s presence in something and selflessness always ushers in His presence.
Exactly the same way, set your heart before the Lord. Set the Lord before you continually as King David said, and decide right here, right now, that you will not consider anything without considering the Presence of God in your life in that situation.
You wouldn’t go into battle without a weapon, would you? Well that’s what the manifest presence of God is. It’s a powerful weapon that drives out doubt and darkness because God Himself is Light and Love.
Problems or the Presence? It’s your choice. Choose well.

GET OVER YOURSELF
Hold fast to my word. Don’t be discouraged when the enemy fills your field with weeds, thorns and stickers. He has already been defeated. You have the mind of Christ and the Holy Spirit living in you. What more do you need?
GET OVER YOURSELF
I know somebody in the Bible who is a world famous harvest burner. Samson was a selfish child in a man’s body. Let me show you where he burned a field and it shows you the mentality of Samson.
Samson had a beautiful wife, but he took off and did his own thing. He left the girl alone for such a long time, her family thought he had abandoned her or given her back. One day when Samson is in the neighborhood and it’s convenient for him, he pulls out the hubby card.
“After a while, in the time of wheat harvest, it happened that Samson visited his wife with a young goat. He said, “Let me go in to my wife, into her room.” But her father would not permit him to go in. Her father said, “I really thought that you thoroughly hated her; therefore I gave her to your companion. Is not her younger sister better than she? Please, take her instead.” And Samson said to them, “This time I shall be blameless regarding the Philistines if I harm them!” – Judges 15:1-5
Samson was anything but blameless when he caught three hundred foxes (the guy had superhuman speed), tied torches to their tails and set them loose in the fields. Those scared foxes torched the grain, vineyards, olive groves and all the livestock of an entire town.
Samson was famous for throwing world-class fits. He played the blame-game and nothing was ever his fault. We all know someone like that and it just might be the face in the mirror.
There was also something prophetic about this. A fox represents disobedience – when we’re no longer under divine authority. Foxes are seen as heretics in the Bible – the enemies of God – or false prophets. In other words, he partnered with hell to burn down a field because he was mad.
And there’s the Church. Religious folks will burn down a whole field and everything in it over some ridiculous offense. They will literally partner with hell, and call it righteousness.
Just like that, brother Samson did not have a right mind at all. He is so self-centered. Let me tell you, if there’s ever going to be a harvest, you have to think past yourself.
There’s always collateral damage when we burn fields. It costs those around you, usually the ones you care about the most. Get over yourself. Think of the bigger picture – a harvest for Jesus and blessings for those around you.

ARE YOU STANDING?
Wait upon Me. Seek My face. Believe nothing is impossible for Me. Be overwhelmed by My presence not by your situation. To you has been given permission to stand in My presence.
ARE YOU STANDING?
In this Christian walk we’re following, going, and we’re standing. What’s standing all about? Standing is when you don’t know what else to do. You just know who God is and you’re not going to back off from that.
There are times when you cannot map the hand of God but you’re still responsible for mapping out His heart. You do not know how to pray and why your prayer didn’t work. You did your part and that didn’t work. Now are you thinking of bailing on God?
I am never bailing on God. Never. If all else fails, I’m just going to stand here and wait for God Almighty to show up, because He will show up. He always shows up, that’s what He does.
So, you have these three different areas in your life, you’re standing, you’re following, you’re going, all at the same time.
In the wilderness, signs, miracles, and wonders go before the people. In the New Testament signs, miracles, and wonders follow people. It’s a paradigm shift. It’s the same God, just an upgrade in relationship. You will never be able to stand until you can see how awesome God is.
“Do not be afraid. Stand and see the salvation of the LORD….” –Exodus 14:13
That’s what Moses tells people of Israel, right before He parted the Red Sea. Standing is not always easy. Wanting to run could be tempting. Standing and trusting in God is what’s needed. Waiting upon our loving heavenly Father will be my choice. I know His heart toward me and it is good!
King Jehoshaphat was faced with overwhelming armies coming against Israel. He had no idea what to do. This was God’s word to him:
“You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear of be dismayed, for the Lord is with you.” – 2 Chronicles 20:17
Believe and know how amazing He is in whatever situation you are facing. Today, if you know God has you in this place of standing, know He is with you.

WHOSE VOICE DO YOU HEAR?
Who will you believe – the one who formed you with a purpose or the one who wants to stop you from fulfilling that purpose. The devil is a liar. He stands at My throne day and night accusing you. Don’t believe his words, but listen to Me. I know who you are.
REAL GIANTS
Numbers 13:33 tells us what happens to people who do not have skill sets to deal with giants. The Bible says the spies of the children of Israel went over into the Promised Land and it says they saw the giants. Of the 12, ten were quaking in their sandals.
There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” – Numbers 13:33
Notice they said, “So we were grasshoppers in our own sight” and “in their sight.” They never said anything about what they looked like in God’s sight. Instead, they took on the identity of the demonic intimidation against them.
A giant is all about convincing you that you’re not who God says you are. He wants you to believe you are who your family, your history or your haters say you are. Here’s the dill pickle: if you take on their personification, you go back to the wilderness.
When you start believing the lies and listening to the wrong voices, you do not go into the Promised Land. Most people die in the wilderness because they’re scared of giants.
The most notable giant in the Bible is a giant by the name of Goliath. And even the word “Goliath” has come to mean huge to all of us. Well, how huge was Goliath? Goliath was six cubits and a span. People are always arguing he wasn’t actually a giant, but that’s bull. At the lowest estimate, six cubits and a span is 9-feet-6 inches tall.
That’s real intimidation. That’s a real, living monster. While we today don’t generally deal with giants because David and his mighty men killed them all, we have monsters of doubt and fear in our heads that are just as intimidating and just as real.
But here’s something else that’s real: God Almighty made you to be more than a conqueror. That means you’re more than Goliath! You’ve got more promise, more power and more potential than that nine-foot goon and God is looking for you to realize it. Once you realize it, you can start slaying some enemies and move into your Promised Land.
The truth is, you’re who God says you are. You are not who you or the enemy say you are. Whose voice do you hear?
