BEGAT BY BLOOD

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

My love for you is so strong I sent My Son to shed His precious blood to reconcile you to Me. I have filled you with that blood and now call you mine. You can only love Me because I first loved you.

BEGAT BY BLOOD

There are 14 generations from Abraham to David. From David to the captivity in Babylon, there are 14 generations, and we count 14 generations from the captivity in Babylon to Christ showing up as a six-pound Jew in a manger. Three sets of 14 generations give us the bloodline of King Jesus.

The Bible stamps the number fourteen on this because numbers mean things in the Word of God and in the Kingdom. Fourteen is where God keeps His promises. The number 14 stands for bloodlines and generational promises. It’s a big-time Kingdom number where God says, “See, I did this by blood.” Generational promises and bloodlines are so interwoven.

Exodus 12:6 says it was on the 14th day of the month when God kept His 400-year promise to bring Israel out of Egypt. It was the first Passover by the blood of the lamb. God kept his promise of freedom by the shedding of blood.

From the beginning, blood has been regarded by God as a precious thing. Sadly, from our Western lens and the culture you and I grew up in, that doesn’t easily compute.

I now understand Jesus is a King, and I was brought into the Kingdom. His blood was applied to me as if His blood is my blood. The only way I can have access to His blood is by faith. I began to unpack that and it began to change my view. Because of this, I am called a king and a priest by His blood.

When that happens supernaturally, that’s a whole different world. You and I need to understand what Jesus Christ has given to us by His blood. Because of His blood, we are forgiven, we are heirs, and we are family. Yes, we are God’s own children.

All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us. – Revelation 1:5

PRAYING FOR RAIN?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I don’t wish any to perish. As this age draws to an end, shower the lost in the blessings I pour out on you. Let me have dominion in your life so you can bring the Spirit of Revival to a dry and thirsty land.

PRAYING FOR RAIN?

Here in Texas, rain is always a blessing and we pray for it often. When I tell you to pray for rain, I also mean this: R is for revival; A is for alignment; I is for intimacy, and N is for newness.

As for the analogy, rain can also be “reign.” Have you asked God to rule and reign in your life so you can come into “alignment” through “intimacy” with Him? If you do, He will bring “newness” to passions you didn’t know you had. RAIN!

While we need the R-A-I-N, we also need Him to R-E-I-G-N over our heart and minds. That means to give the King dominion in those places. The book of Revelation tells us this:

And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever. – Revelation 22:5

The Son will shine and ‘we’ shall reign with Him! Kinda makes my baby leap. While that may sound a long way off, it really isn’t. When we’re drop-dead, sold-out Jesus freaks, night is no more and the Lord is our light right now, today. Others see that and are drawn to what we have.

It’s so important that the lost see Jesus ruling and reigning in our lives. It’s why you and I were made, so let God rain into your life and bring your King a harvest of souls. Let the revival start with you!

WHAT’S YOUR TESTIMONY?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

Taste and see how good I Am. Know that I am more than enough for all you will face this day.  Believe for nothing less than experiencing My presence, power and enjoying My love for you.

WHAT IS YOUR TESTIMONY?

Your testimony is not what you did before you were saved. That’s your history. Your testimony is who the Lord Jesus is to you today. Amen. Your history is what you buried when you were baptized and left that trouble in the water.

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” – Romans 6:4

Who Jesus is to me is not determined by my past, by who others say I am, or what I feel about myself. It is determined by who His word says I am. God didn’t give us the Bible to have head knowledge. He gave us the Bible so that we can personally know Jesus and know Him in power.

If all you have is a Bible verse that says Jesus heals, you now have permission to go after Jesus for healing until you encounter it. Once you encounter it, that’s something you can give away for the rest of your life. From that point on, you can say with certainty…

“they overcame…by the word of their testimony.” – Revelation 12:11

Encountering Jesus means you encounter His life. His life in you allows you to build a testimony each day of who Jesus is to you. So, get up and take on hell with a water pistol.

HOW DO YOU KNOW GOD?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I Am My beloved’s and My beloved is Mine. You are My beloved. I so loved you, I sacrificed My own life to bring you into right relationship and unity with Me. Words cannot express the miracle of redemption, but I will tell you this: you are worth it!

DESCRIBING THE INDESCRIBABLE

The Apostle Paul was not a great speaker. People who heard him preach were generally underwhelmed and disappointed. But his letters? They are something else!

Paul is a writer and untold millions are still reading his words over 2,000 years after his glorious death. So, you don’t have to take my word for it that Paul was very descriptive, had a command of words and knew how to talk. Yet, when it came to him trying to explain Jesus, he just says, “Indescribable.”

“Praise be to God for His indescribable gift.” – 2 Corinthians 9:15

It’s not that there are too many words that describe Jesus so Paul decided to make it brief, it’s that there aren’t enough words to describe Him. Indescribable.

Is that how you know Him? Is your walk with Him so intimate and personal that you just don’t have the vocabulary to put it into words? If it’s not, it should be and that’s up to you.

Let me just encourage you to live an indescribable life with the Lord Jesus Christ. You should have miracles happening in your life that you can’t explain. You should see mind-blowing revelation and the blossoming of the Fruit and the Gifts of the Spirit in your daily life.

There needs to be a place in your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ that you just can’t explain. And know this: you don’t have to explain it to anyone. That’s called intimacy. It’s when you belong to Jesus and He belongs to you, and you’ve got this conversation going between you that only means something to the two of you.

How do you tell someone else about it? You don’t. Like Mary, you “hide it away in your heart” and consider it day and night until it all comes to fruition. You can try to write it down, and I encourage you to journal those things but don’t be surprised if there are not enough words to describe the indescribable one.

AN OFFER YOU CAN’T REFUSE

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I Am the Prince of Peace and My Kingdom is one of peace. I desire to be the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords over the territory of your heart. Lay it down. My ways and plans are always good.

AN OFFER YOU CAN’T REFUSE

Jesus is looking for real estate and you are the real estate He is after. He wants all of you – your heart, mind, body, and soul. But what about the real estate of this earth? He wants to rule that through you.

He’s saying, “If you will give Me your real estate, I will give you My real estate.”

What real estate does Jesus have? Everything. And if we will give Him our domain and turn our dominion over to Him, He will give us His domain.

That’s what the book of Revelation is all about – His dominion – when Jesus rides in on the clouds to take back this world from the enemy. Listen, the greatest moment of Jesus’ life is when He comes back as the Lion of the tribe of Judah – with a mighty roar on a white horse – not on a donkey like the first time He came.

There’s a huge difference between riding in on a donkey in a time of peace and a white horse in a time of war. Jesus is coming as a mighty warrior and guess who’s with Him? Us. You and I.

Why is that? Because we turned our real estate – our very lives – over to Him. So, He’s in the process of turning over all His real estate to us. Isn’t that beautiful? Nobody else can make you that offer, and nobody else is offering it. So, if I were you, I’d take it. It’s an offer you’d be a fool to refuse.

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. – 1 Chronicles 4:10

ARE YOU TUNED IN TO HIS VOICE?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

Are you tuned in to My voice? I Am always speaking to you, singing over you, leading you through My journey for you. Talk to me, but also listen. I know the plans I have for you.

PURSUE THE PROPHETIC

Prophetic phrases are like anointed headlines or bullet points. The more you embrace the headline, the more you understand what the whole article is saying.

Prophetic phrases are important because they’re easy to carry around so you can be dedicated to the contemplation of the subject. It’s not just a discipline you have, it’s prophetic lifestyle you live.

Here’s what’s real: you’re either going to sit around talking about idle things or you’re going to sit around contemplating what it is God’s speaking into your life.

If your passion is hearing God speak, and if you have a huge value for hearing His voice in a variety of ways and places, you will begin to go after this. You will hear Him in the storm that just passed, the headlines of your newspaper, the numbers on your dry cleaning receipt and the color of the sunset over your house. He’s always speaking, but we’re not always listening.

God’s voice thunders in wonderful ways, he does great things we cannot understand. – Job 37:5

Every December, I fast, pray and go after hearing God speak prophetic phrases into my life. I want to know what His plan for me in the upcoming year is. I want to know what to go after, what to expect, and what to protect. You should too.

Remember how I always tell you God blesses pursuit? Well, in the Prophetic, pursuit is the only way to qualify for the gift. We have to go after it and once we get it, exercise it. This builds our prophetic muscle so that it becomes easier to hear God and easier to understand the message.

Are you giving your prophetic side a workout? It is a discipline, a lifestyle? If you want to hear God speak into your life, it takes action. Pursue the prophetic. It will put you in alignment for your assignment.

LEAVE IT FOR JESUS

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

Did you know there are people I can only reach with My love and forgiveness through you? It’s true. Our connection makes you a conduit for My love and salvation. Don’t burn bridges with people who have hurt or disappointed you. Let My redemption flow through you for a harvest of hope.

LEAVE IT FOR JESUS

The collateral damage that happens to your friends and family when you don’t lay down your life and you make things all about “me,” “myself,” and “I” is terrible. I call this burning a field or burning a bridge. It’s when you destroy a relationship because of your selfishness and drama.

I have been guilty of that myself and I’m sorry. I have purposed in my heart over these last several years that I’m not going to be a field burner anymore. I have a lot of fields that have weeds in them – weeds are dysfunctional relationships – but I’ve learned not to pull them up or to put a match to them. Why?

Because I can still lay down my life for that person and give Jesus a harvest from it. Someday, maybe soon, Jesus is going to show up and He’s not going to yell at me because of the weeds in the field. He’s going to give me a crown because of the harvest that’s in it. That is the hope of the Lord Jesus Christ.

There are times when it appears your fields are nothing but weeds. There are times you need to seek Godly counsel and get an outsider opinion of your progress. You and I are sometimes too hard on ourselves and set our standards too high. We want perfection in our fields – especially when we’re dealing with family and kids.

Know this: we will not achieve perfection until the day of Christ’s return. This means there will always be weeds in our relationships and tares, or stickers, in our lives. Just like a field of wheat has patches of nettles and wild oats, there is still enough grain on that ground to warrant a harvest. We don’t destroy the harvest to kill the weeds.

Think of Jesus as a big John Deere combine. He threshes the wheat and separates out the grain from the wild oats, no matter how many there are. So, don’t strike a match. Be selfless in your relationships and let Jesus take care of the people you struggle with. Pray for them. Love on them. See them as the prisoners of war to the enemy that they are. Don’t burn that field. Leave those weeds for Jesus.

Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus… – Philippians 2:2-3

LIVING IT WELL?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

You have been set up for success. I planned great things long ago for you to do for My Kingdom. I enjoy seeing you step into those things. Keep following Me into better. Your destiny awaits!

LIVE IT WELL

Your life is a really big deal and needs to be lived well. It needs to be lived in a way that reflects what the Father believes your life should be.

It’s one thing for God to reveal His plan to you. It is another thing for you to conform your life to the image of God’s plan. It’s one thing for God to tell you that you’re set free and you can do amazing things. It’s another for you to act like you’re set free and start doing those amazing things.

These are two different animals. It’s one thing for God to reveal to you who you are and it’s another for you to conform your life to the image of Who God is. This is all about identity and His great big destiny for your life.

Your life is important and it needs to be lived well. You only have a small window of time, a small opportunity to actually live out and personify the heart of Jesus toward you.

You know, God is trusting you with your life. He is trusting you to discover amazing things. He’s trusting you to make an incredible difference in the lives of people who are lost and hurting.

He’s also trusting you to get past your childhood monsters, your failures, your lack of understanding on important issues in your life – like your finances and your relationships. He’s trusting you with that.

“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.” – Luke 16:10

To live a life other than the one God gave you is to be dishonest, or out of alignment for your assignment. You have a unique promise and purpose that only you can do for God’s Kingdom. He built you that way. Do you know what it is? If you do, are you going after it?

Remember, you bear the name of Christ. You are His name sake. Your destiny is always tied to Him. Ask Him to reveal it to you and see where the Spirit takes you.

DO YOU KNOW WHO THE RIGHTFUL HEIR IS?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

Before time began, I was here. Before you were born, I loved you. I still do. You make an impact for My Kingdom and not even realize you’re doing so. Joseph had no idea how important he was to My plan. Neither do you.

THE RIGHTFUL HEIR

The book of Matthew starts off with Jesus’ family tree as if to say, “I’m going to prove to you that Jesus Christ is the rightful heir to the throne of Israel.” That he does my friends, check this out!

He begins with Abraham, continues through David, all the way to Jesus. He quotes “Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers.”

There was a lot of begetting going on because they didn’t have radios, or television in those days and it was an honor to have many children. In verse 15, he continues,

“Eliud begot Eleazar, Eleazar begot Matthan, and Matthan begot Jacob. And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.” – Matthew 1:15-16

Do you see that in verse 16? Did you know that Joseph was supposed to be the king of Israel? If there’s ever been a guy who’s been ripped off, I promise you it’s Joseph. Despite this, he remained so selfless. He is one of the great unsung heroes of the kingdom.

He’s one of the poorest people alive in the day that Jesus Christ showed up and interrupted his marriage, his trade and his life. I imagine Joseph may have felt that angel speaking to him was also saying, “You know Joseph, this is for you. This is not just for Mary. This is not just for future generations. This is for you, too. You need this to happen and I’m trusting you with this. You are the rightful heir to the throne of David and this is the family God needs to step into.”

This brother stepped up and loved this boy as his own. Joseph taught him a trade, even went searching for Jesus when he was left behind at the temple at age 12. Joseph had all the attributes you would want in a great king.

Christ was a special gift for Joseph that said, “I see you and I’m fulfilling my promise to you and your generations.” You can see it John 3:16 where it says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only son.”

This popular verse is sometimes misunderstood. He so loved the world! That includes Joseph, rightful heir to the throne of David, and you my friend.

WILLING TO GO OFF THE MAP?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

Rest in My goodness. Trust Me to always go with you. There is nothing that can separate you from My love for you. I delight in every step you take with Me.

WILLING TO GO OFF THE MAP?

I want to get up and help people. I want to see heaven invade earth. I want to see the Kingdom come into people’s lives! Amen. Am I going to make mistakes? Yes, I’m going to make mistakes.

Why? Well number one, because you and I, we’re a bunch of knuckleheads. Number two, because we’re beautifully flawed. And number three, when you swing for the bleachers you strike out sometimes.

We need to get past this fear of failure because the world around us has been going to hell. I don’t want to sit around worrying about getting into trouble with Father God, especially when I know He’s not going to get mad that I tried to glorify Him.

Does everything go perfect at our food outreach? No. I can tell you a bunch of stuff that didn’t go right there. But you know what? That’s not our testimony. There were many people loved on, prayed for, healed and there were salvations. That’s our testimony.

He tells us to go. Go is a command with a promise. I want you to see this scripture;

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” – Matthew 28:19-20

Jesus is asking you to go out of these comfortable places. He wants you to go off of your map and look for Him there. You’ll actually see Him when you get out of your comfort zone.

Following and going means leaving those comfortable places. But really, isn’t the most wonderful place being where Jesus is? You won’t do everything perfectly, but you look to Jesus the Good Shepherd. Trust in Him even to “the end of the world.”
