GIANTS IN THE LAND?
The devil is not My enemy. He is yours. Because he hates Me, he does all in his power to destroy you. Do not partner with his lies. Listen to My voice. I call you family. I call you friend. Take My hand and live.
GIANTS IN THE LAND
You’re a bad motor-scooter. You’re something else. You’re an overcomer and that’s not because of your flesh. In fact, the devil in the Bible that represents your flesh is Goliath of Gath.
Goliath represents our flesh. In the Bible, giants represent the problems we have in our Promised Land.
We’re all earthen vessels. We’re created out of the earth and our bodies are literally seventy percent water just like the earth is seventy percent water. That means the territory that God wants to conquer is you!
But there are giants in the land. There are fleshly tendencies that have to be dealt with that oppose the occupation of the Spirit of God within your own life. You know them because you made friends with them. Giants of anger, jealousy, covetousness, addiction, debt, depression, doubt, and despair.
All of us have giants and all of our giants have to be dealt with – every single one of them. The Bible says Goliath was six cubits and a span. That means he was at least 9-feet-six-inches tall. He’s a big ‘un! The brother’s got six fingers and the Bible says his spearhead weighed in at 600 shekels and he’s even got six pieces of demonic armor.
There are sixes all over him and we all know six is God’s number for flesh. That means the six pounds of gray flesh between our ears is the biggest giant we have in our promised land. This Goliath is not just the enemy, he’s even worse – the in-a-me.
He’s got insider information. He knows the lay of the land and all our weak spots. He’s got the advantage, or so he likes us to think. There is one weapon in our arsenal that can defeat him and that’s the rock. The smooth stone of Jesus, specifically what he says about us, defeats Goliath every time.
Goliath calls you a loser? Jesus says you’re victorious. Goliath calls you ugly? Jesus says you’re a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Want to stand against the in-a-me? Fall upon the rock and let Him break your giant into pieces.
Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed. – Luke 20-18

WANNA A WHOLE LOTTA JESUS?
I Am not a selfish God. My very nature is to give to those I love. Demonstrate My giving side by being generous. When I see you giving, I can open up the floodgates of heaven over your life.
A WHOLE LOTTA JESUS
Yes, it’s Christmas time and people like to call it “the season of giving.” While I like that, there’s a great principle of giving in the Bible you and I are going to discuss today.
Brother Luke wrote in his epic book (like how I did that? Epic?) that God is the greatest giver ever. However, He gets really revved up when we demonstrate His giving nature.
“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” – Luke 6:38
The Father goes, “Good googly moogly! Do you see my kids out giving of their time, talent, and treasure? I need to give them more so they can give away even more!”
In God’s economy, the amount you give will determine the amount you get back. This is not just a financial principle. It’s a Kingdom principle, so it works with time, talent, connections, relationships – all kinds of stuff.
Here’s the best part: if you’re giving away Jesus to the lost and hurting, you get as much Jesus as you want. Why is that important? You don’t want to go to the sea of the Kingdom and just bring a teaspoon. You should want to dive in deep. Amen. I want to drink deep to live an epic life here on earth and you should too.
The Bible says if you put a whole lot into it, you’re going to get a whole lot out of it. So give! Give of your time to serve. Give of your talent to build others up. Give your money to help those who don’t know the goodness of God. You’ll get a whole lot of Jesus in return.

WHAT ARE YOU FAMOUS FOR?
Love covers a multitude of sins. Because I Am love, I cover your sins and I am so proud of you when you do likewise for others. Show mercy to the lost and prophesy identity, purpose, and destiny into them, just as I do for you.
JUST LIKE JOSEPH
In my opinion, Joseph is one of the greatest heroes who ever lived. I can’t imagine the disappointment in Joseph’s life. He thought he knew Mary, but she turned up pregnant and the baby wasn’t his.
Joseph had the right to tell everyone, then the Sanhedrin council, Pharisees and his family would have put her up against the wall and stoned her and her unborn baby to death. He could have stood back crying and thinking that that was the only way for him to have honor in his life.
Matthew’s genealogy shows that Joseph was heir to the throne. As royal blood, he was a different caliber of human being even though he’s poor and unknown. He is a man of honor.
“Then Joseph her husband, being a just man and not willing to make her a public example, He sought to put her away privately.” – Matthew 1:19
Joseph knew he was going to take a bad rap from everyone, including his family. He knew he would be the object of rumor and scorned by the religious authorities. He loved Mary, but he thought she’d lost her mind. Still, he couldn’t let her die in shame.
That is the mark of an awesome man of God. He wasn’t going to form a mob or get on Facebook and say, “look at this horrible thing this person has done.” When you walk in the love of God you tend to cover up the sins of other people.
You tend to try to make things right and that’s exactly what Joseph did. That’s a good word, especially for this Christmas season. You’re going to come across people – family, friends, people you work with – who are galactically stupid. They will scorn wise advice and godliness. They will do and say self-destructive things, but you don’t need to get on Facebook and pronounce your profound disagreement with them.
Just be all about the Kingdom. Listen, if you’re famous for who you stand against, you’re fighting the wrong battle. Speak life into those knuckleheads. Love them and protect their reputations even when they don’t. Pray for them and continually bring Jesus into their lives. Make things right, just like Joseph.

IT’S ALL ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS ALREADY DONE
I Am the God who heard the blood of Able crying out and the One who heard the blood of Christ speak. The blood of Christ says, “You are mine.” It says, “It is finished.” You can be a forgiven, sanctified child of Mine if you’ll only receive and believe in My word.
LISTEN TO THE BLOOD
The blood of Christ speaks. What it speaks is better stuff than the blood of Able, which cried out from the ground. It says you’re holy. It says you’re righteous. It says that you’re forgiven.
The blood speaks of sacrifice. The blood saves us. The Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world – it takes away, it doesn’t postpone judgment. It takes away the sins of the world. What does the blood do? It sanctifies. It means it sets us apart. It redeems us. That means it re-purchases us. The only way we can have redemption is through the blood.
We can’t go back through time to Israel, go to the Cross and take some of Jesus’ blood. Then go to the Holy of Holies, to the mercy seat, and put the blood of Jesus on the mercy seat on our behalf so that our sins are taken away.
We can’t do that because it’s not about what we can do, but what He has already done. We simply have to believe on the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ right now and it gives us access to the Holy of Holies. It’s totally by faith now. It’s not by our physical action.
It was by the physical action of the Lord Jesus Christ, now it is upon the faith of the people who are willing to receive it, then that blood is applied to us. When that blood is applied to us my friends, everything is paid for. The blood of Abel says there’s a price that needs to be paid. The blood of Jesus says it has been paid in full.
Then Jesus shouted out again and He released His spirit. At that moment, the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart… – Matthew 27:50-51
It is by the actions of Christ that we are able to enter into the presence of Almighty God! All we can do is believe and receive. Sounds simple right?

WATCHING AT HIS GATE?
Seek Me with your whole heart and believe you will find Me. You are My child and no good thing will I withhold from you. You will find treasures in Me that will fill you up beyond what you could ask or imagine.
WATCHING AT HIS GATES?
It’s important to speak favor upon people because we all need favor. Favor is supernatural advantage. Advantage? You might say, “It’s not fair.” I love that it’s not fair. I love that I get pulled over all the time for speeding and I only get warning tickets.
“Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD.” – Proverbs 8:34-35
The whole thing about favor and supernatural advantage is you have to find it. It means you have to seek favor. If you seek, you will find. If you ask, it is answered. If you knock, the door is opened to you. We are told to daily come listening, waiting and seeking, so listen to Proverbs 8 again:
“Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.” – Proverbs 8:34
This is a picture of what people use to do to Elvis. They’d wait at his gates hoping to just get a glimpse of him. The Body of Christ needs to do that for Jesus. Are we waiting at His gates just hoping for a glimpse of Him? If you’ll be like that, you will find life and obtain favor.
At one of our orphanages in India, little boys and girls who are not a part of our orphanage sleeping in front of our gates every night. They stay at the gates hoping there will be room for them. Can you imagine?
Do you believe God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him? Are you waiting in faith-filled expectancy believing will show you His favor? Seek and you will find.

“I AM AT HAND! REACH OUT FOR ME!”
I have said many times I will never leave you nor forsake you. That means I Am with you always. I Am at hand. Because of this, being in alignment with My plan is also at hand. Find your assignment through Me.
AT HAND
As John the Baptist said, “Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.” That means you can reach out and grab it right now.
You don’t have to wait. You don’t have to get your act together. You don’t have to be smart or good enough. Jesus is real and Jesus is alive. That means He’s right here with you, right now. He is “at hand.” So, what are you going to do with this knowledge?
It’s one thing for Him to tell you something about your assignment. It’s another thing for you to say, “Okay! I’m in!” Well, my friends, that’s alignment. Alignment is about conforming your life to God’s plan and to His heart.
Graham Cooke says in his amazing book Coming Into Alignment, “We learn about the nature of God because He applies His heart to ours.” Let that sink in for just a moment. Whoever God is showing Himself to be to you, that’s how you’re going to demonstrate Him.
If God is showing you that He’s your Deliverer, guess what you get to be? A deliverer! If He’s showing you He’s full of wisdom, guess what you get to have? Wisdom. If God Almighty is showing you that He’s Jehovah Jireh and He’s your provider, guess what you’re going to get to be? That’s right. A provider for those who have nothing.
Your identity, purpose, and destiny are closer than you think. If you get into alignment for your assignment, if you jump all the way into God’s will for your life, the Kingdom of heaven will come to this earth. The gates of hell would shake and God would have His way in your life.
Repent of your indifference. Repent of being comfortable. The Kingdom of heaven is at hand – right here, right now.
And proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ – Matthew 10:7

BRIDGE THE DISTANCE
Find Me today in an unexpected place. I Am not the God of stained glass windows and altars. I Am a God of personal relationship and intimacy. Continue to seek My Face for I will be found by you.
BRIDGE THE DISTANCE
One of the reasons so much of the Church is faithless is because its experience with God is so minimal. Why does the church have so little faith, especially the American Church? It’s because God doesn’t move in church services.
The American Church especially has put God in the box of Sunday at 11 a.m. within these four walls. Most of us simply listen to a sermon on how God moved thousands of years ago and call that “experience” or “growth.”
I call that sad.
If you don’t have powerful encounters with God outside of church, you’re not going to make it. You need to start having powerful encounters with King Jesus and you need to build up a trust between you where you are willing to be more vulnerable than you’ve ever been.
Hear me on this: every time you get vulnerable with God, He blesses you.
It’s true. You have to go after the secret things of God, then actually experience those things so your faith can build from there. Brother John says it like this:
“…we have known and believed the love that God has for us…” – 1 John 4:16
To truly believe, which is faith, you have to know and knowing comes from personal experience. There is faith unto salvation, but that’s not what I’m talking about today. I’m talking about the gift of faith and the gifts must be exercised and walked out.
If you don’t have ongoing, powerful encounters with Jesus, your relationship will begin to fail and you will find yourself loving God from a distance. Again, that’s just sad. Go after experience with Jesus. Invite Him to move in your life outside of church on days other than Sunday. Dare to bridge the distance.

WHO HAS DOMINION OVER YOUR LIFE?
Are you tired, worn down, discouraged by the battles you face? Stop facing them alone! You were never meant to fight without Me, without My power. Let Me be your God in this and every battle. Give Me dominion so I can make things right.
WHO HAS DOMINION?
You can’t bring the Kingdom of God into the dark places of your life if you’re not a subject of the Kingdom. If you are a subject of the Kingdom that means you’re willing to do whatever the King tells you. You subject yourself to the King.
There needs to come a time in all of our lives where we get it that we’re not God. This is a life-changing thing to recognize that Jesus Christ is God and we need to be subject to Him as King. Why? Because it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you His kingdom.
The kingdom is where the King has dominion. That’s where things are finally right. If you’ve got the kingdom in your marriage, in your finances, in your relationship with your kids; Jesus rules and reigns and things are wonderful.
So whenever we get the idea of the majestic side of God, we start coming into alignment. Alignment creates breakthrough. Alignment makes you an overcomer. Alignment brings you into abundance. Alignment is being subject to the Majesty of Christ. It’s the power of constant subjection to Christ.
I’m not an owner of anything. I’m a steward of everything, knowing I’m going to have to give my entire life back to Him someday. He’s going to say, “Troy, how did you bring me into your marriage? What about your relationships, your work, your finances? How did you let Me have dominion over those things?”
When you begin to do that – give Jesus dominion over each part of your life – you begin to get into perfect alignment. Alignment for assignment. What is your assignment in this life? Pretty simple: it’s to bring Jesus into everything you do, every relationship you have, so He can rule and reign.
“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. – Matthew 13:44

WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL?
While I could solve all the problems of poverty, disease, and oppression by My own hand, I choose your hands to do My work. This is your purpose, your reason for being. You make Me so happy when you bring restoration and redemption to the lost in My mighty name.
WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL?
You have permission granted to live an epic life in King Jesus. When we take His name and become “Christ-ians,” we have the permission to tap into His greatness, His love, and His power.
One of the ways we tap into His power is by tapping into His heart. What moves Him? What does He love? What does He hate?
Now, you’ve heard me say this time and time again, so you should know it: the fear of the Lord is not to be afraid of Him, but to tap into His awesome heart to love what He loves and hate what He hates.
Jesus loves the widow, the orphan, the poor and the homeless. He hates bondage, injustice, and indifference – especially to the people I mentioned above. He wants us to love on and care for those He loves.
My friend, we have to make a great big deal out of the right things and we have to be intentional about it. If we’re not going to be intentional about making a big deal out of the right things, we will make a big deal out of the wrong things. God help us if we do!
When we make a big deal out of the right things, when we love what God loves, we bring heaven to earth. That’s what we were made to do. That’s why the Holy Spirit now lives in us Jesus people – so God can personally serve, love, and deliver the lost through us.
Wanna know why you were born – what your purpose is? To love and serve others by demonstrating the Father. Period. End of story. So, let’s you and I make a big deal out of those the world forgets, even despises. Let’s live an epic life of service.
He helps orphans and widows, and he loves foreigners and gives them food and clothes. – Deuteronomy 10:18

ARMOR UP!
I don’t see you as you see yourself. I see you as I created you to be. Listen to My voice only. I will tell you who you are – you are dangerous to the enemy. Don’t fear him. Fight him and step into your destiny as My child.
ARMOR UP, YOU BAD MOTOR SCOOTER
The Bible tells us that Goliath not only had six fingers, he was six cubits and a span tall, and had a spear that weighed six shekels, the infamous giant had six demonic pieces of armor. Six is, of course, God’s number for the flesh and that’s what giants represent – the flesh.
All this may be why Saul’s army cowered at the sight of Goliath every day. Not one man, King Saul included, dared to take him on. Fear was rampant in the camp. We’re a lot like Saul. Fear keeps us out of the battle.
I say all this to say that in Ephesians 6, God has an answer to how the flesh is armored up.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. – Ephesians 6:11-12
How do we armor up according to the Spirit of God? He provides us the helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the Gospel of peace, the sword of the Spirit, the belt of truth, and the shield of faith to extinguish every fiery dart of the enemy. Did you count them? I count six, but Scripture gives us an additional, overcoming weapon of warfare.
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints…” – Ephesians 6:16
That’s the seventh piece. Goliath has six. But in the Spirit, you and I have seven. You can overcome anything with an army of one when the one is King Jesus. Amen. The Spirit of God always has one up on the flesh – the in-a-me and the enemy.
So, take on the giants in your life. Defeat the enemy with the Spirit of Truth. Let Him tell you who you are because you are a warrior, an overcomer, and a bad motor scooter. Goliath, take that!
