WANT A NEW LIFE?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I know the beginning from the end, yet I choose to only see you in your present and future. My Son has brought revival into your life. You are a new creation and I see you not as the slave you once were, but as My child, freely loved. Embrace this truth!

WANT A NEW LIFE?

The byproduct of intimacy is newness, new life. Every single time you and I either run to Jesus or yield to Him – every time we let Him into secret places we don’t allow anybody else into, it’s the beginning of newness.

Newness is always a chance for us to be set free from something. It’s a brand new opportunity for us to walk into upgrade of some sort.

The point of revival is newness. The point of revival is transformation – heaven invading earth. Through revival, hell is diminished and heaven shows up.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

You see the difference between things that are passing and things that are coming? That difference is redemption in your timeline. “What are you talking about Pastor Troy?”

I’m talking about a pretty simple principle. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17 again and consider this: Where redemption is not in your timeline, everything is passing. Where redemption is in your timeline, everything is coming. In Christ you’re not losing anything but gaining everything.

Want to be a new creation? Invite Jesus into your timeline to redeem that place of hurt or defeat that is holding you hostage and keeping you from personal revival. Yield this up to Him and be set free from the guilt and shame of your past. Do you want a new life?

DO YOU KNOW WHAT DEVIL HATES?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I love to open doors to you. I want to pour blessings from the windows of heaven. Do you believe it? Go after it. Speak to Me, child. Tell Me the desires of your heart and watch heaven move. I’m waiting.

THE DEVIL HATES THAT!

Confession is so important, but I’m not talking about standing before a priest or even the Lord in shame and listing all your sins for the day, the week or the year. I’m talking about the kind of confession that God responds to.

The truth is, confession is when you verbalize how God cherishes you. It’s when you say, “Father, I know you love me. I know you made this sunrise just for me to see and enjoy. You’re calling me this morning.” That is confession and it opens a door to the heavenly realm.

Then there is proclamation. That’s when you verbalize what God is doing because you know God cherishes you and it’s all about trusting His nature. It’s saying, “I proclaim your goodness in my life because you making my relationships new right now. I see you softening hard hearts, including mine.” Proclamation sets up declaration.

Declaration is verbalizing what you know is going to happen. It’s where we speak into the heavenly realms to release angels to perform the word. It’s when we say stuff like, “I declare supernatural abundance on my family. I declare prosperity is mine because I trust you to give back what the enemy has stolen.”

Did you catch that?  Confession is past, proclamation is present, and declaration is future. You trust in God and say, “You know what? Time isn’t going to beat me up because the Word says my words are game-changers.

“The power of life and death is within the tongue.” – Proverbs 18:21

Today, I want you to read this aloud unto the Lord and call down the heavens to move on your behalf:

I confess my love for you Jesus and your love for me in 2019.

I proclaim and I make known that this is my year – a new season of abundance.

It’s a brand new time where I am full of overcoming victory.

I declare the Lord will accomplish what concerns me.

I will go further, higher, better and get there faster than any year before.

I am Yours and You are mine in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

Do you know what, hell just trembled because those angels just went to work. You’re a bad motor scooter, so prove it every day by confessing, proclaiming, and declaring God’s identity, purpose and destiny over yourself. The devil hates that!

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I see you as perfect as I Am perfect. You are whole and complete in My eyes. Look at yourself through the lens of My love and see the great potential and promise I’ve given you. Go and make disciples.

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

My worldview is this: I have rewards in heaven. God Almighty cares about people that nobody else in the world cares about. Jesus Christ is coming back and He is a rewarder. Everybody needs a shot at redemption.

Because this is my worldview, I care about people the rest of the world doesn’t and I don’t do it for the praise of men. I understand the time is short so I have an urgency to me – I want to see people saved and redeemed. I’m all about loving and serving people into God’s family.

I also have to know I’m Father God’s favorite. I am! And because I believe I’m His favorite, I have the faith and guts to get off the couch and help people. If I don’t think God loves and favors me, I’m liable to do nothing at all and lots of people will go to hell.

I have to make sure that I think things about me that God Almighty thinks about me, and so do you. God calls me His son, so I need to have confidence in that. He calls me a teacher, worshipper and overcomer so I need to line myself up under that. Again, this is all about conforming your life to the image of God’s plan.

Lining up with who God says you are will line you up with what you’re suppose to be doing. Identity defines assignment. Assignment is all about purpose and we’ve all heard people say they don’t know their purpose in this life. That’s because they don’t know who they are to God Almighty.

Do you know who you are? Do you know what God says about you? Look in scripture. Listen to the prophetic words spoken over you. God never speaks something evil, untrue of negative – that’s the enemy. Your Father God sees you as complete and whole through the love of His Son Jesus. He sees you as family. That’s a great starting point.

He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will… – Ephesians 1:5

ARE YOU BRAVE ENOUGH?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I gave you the gift of free will. Don’t blame me when you make a bad decision. Slow down. Be led by the Holy Spirit, not by the flesh. I will show you the way. Ask.

IT WASN’T ME

Jesus gets blamed for a lot of the bad that happens in life – even by the people who love Him. And He’s like, “I’ve died all I can die. I’ve resurrected all I can resurrect. I have promised all I can promise and I have empowered you and given you everything I have.”

My friend, you have the ability to see His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven, but you would rather not take any responsibility for the hell you’ve brought on your own life.

“But Pastor Troy, the Bible say if it’s the will of God it’ll happen and if it’s not God’s will, it won’t.” While that line of thinking may work within certain circles within the Bible belt, it does not work in the kingdom at all.

This line of thinking leads people to blame God for their failures. I hear it all the time People go through a divorce and say, “Well, it was the will of God.” Or they say, “Well it wasn’t the will of God for us to get hooked up in the first place, so now He’s putting it right.” Too bad. You got hooked up. You need to lay down your life and make it work.

“But Pastor Troy, you don’t understand. I can’t make it work.” Now, we’re getting somewhere. If you can’t make it work, I’m not condemning you. I’m just saying don’t blame God for the failure of your marriage.

There’s a lot of warfare that goes on with all this and in the midst of the warfare there are battles won and lost. Jesus defined it this way,

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” – Matthew 11:12

The PTV, which is the Pastor Troy version of the verse, says, “everything changed at John the Baptist, and you don’t do warfare the way you did before John the Baptist.” How you advance the Kingdom now is you go after things. That’s what that verse is saying.

Kingdom advancement is not for cowards. It is not for wimps. And here’s the deal: you’re going to get your hat handed to you sometimes. You’re going to go after things and it’s not always going to work. You know what? God doesn’t hate you for that. He’s not mad at you for that any more than I’m mad at my grandchildren for falling down while learning how to walk.

Romans 8:1 states there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. But when the Holy Spirit convicts you, you best pay attention. Step out of the boat, my friend, but keep your eyes on Jesus as you do. You only sink when you look elsewhere for answers or blame the Lord for your failures by saying, ‘It wasn’t me.”

ARE YOU GETTING RESULTS?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I have sent the Holy Spirit to intercede for you when you’re at a loss for words. Now, come to Me with shouts of praise, words of gratitude and your requests. I hear your whispers and your cries.

GET RESULTS

This man of God had a lot of tools in his prayer closet – different ways to approach God for different kinds of results. Just as quiet intimacy is important, crying out and bringing a shout before the Lord, both alone and corporately, is crucial to my walk.

Know this: praying, meditating and crying out are not the same and they do not bring about the same result. Check out this gold mine on prayer in Psalms 5.

“Give ear to my words, O Lord, Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.” – Psalm 5:1-3

“Give ear to my words, O Lord…” That’s prayer.

“Consider my meditation…” That’s thinking God-thoughts.

“Give heed to the voice of my cry…” That’s a shout or crying out to God for immediate help.

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you in wisdom and discernment to know what needs to be done and how best to approach the Father. Whether you’re crying out in tears, whispering in a quiet setting, shouting hallelujah, or simply listening, God loves to hear from you.

Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! – Psalm 116:2 (NLT)

That’s deep right there. I get this image of the Creator of the Universe bending down to hear what I have to say. You know what? He does. He listens and He responds based on how I approach Him. Need help now? Cry out. Need to feel His presence? Pray and meditate. Either way, you’ll get results.

WALKING IN AUTHORITY?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

You are my child. Walk in the My authority. I have redeemed you to walk in My abundant life. Fear not. Keep your focus on My promises, not on your problems.

WALKING IN AUTHORITY?

Jesus said He didn’t come to be served but to serve and to die as a ransom for many. Even the word “minister” means “servant.” Whether you’re a trash man, a radio personality, a momma or daddy – whatever you do, you are a minister. Your ministry is seen by who and how you serve.

Service is ministry. As ministers, we are called to operate in the same authority Jesus was given when He ministered on earth.

I want to just stop and say, everyone thinks the devil has supernatural authority – that he and Jesus are in some kind of head-to-head competition. The devil is not in competition with Jesus. The devil is a created being, a cosmic punk, and a knuckle-head who has no self-control whatsoever.

“But Pastor Troy, I’m scared the devil will kill me.” If the devil could kill you, he would have because he has no self-control. Self-control is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. So, don’t give him a place to kill you. Take up your authority in Christ.

We tend to make the devil so big and so powerful. Here’s what’s real is: you and I are the ones who are big and powerful but we turn our dominion over to the devil. Any power or authority the devil has he either stole from us or tricked us into giving to him. So quit making the devil all big and bad!

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”— Luke 10:19

Take back your power and authority. How? Learn to be a servant. Learn to be a leader. You need to focus and get into alignment for your assignment. Every one of us should be reading books, hooking up to mentors and be studying what the Word of God says about these things.

Be involved in holy things. Believe God’s promises. You’re a bad-motor-scooter, I promise you. You are an overcomer when you serve others.

WHAT’S YOUR WORLDVIEW?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

You have tasted and seen that I Am good. You have personally experienced My redemption, love and freedom. Share them. Make My Name yours for all the world to know Me through you.

WHAT’S YOUR WORLDVIEW

Alignment is about conforming your life to Kingdom causes, Kingdom goals, and Kingdom dreams. While it sounds easy, I’ve got to make sure my worldview is Jesus’ worldview.

You need to steward your own worldview. You can’t let MTV, your political party, your race or Hollywood tell you how the world turns. You can’t be somebody who loves the things of this world.

I was watching an interview with Pastor Rick Warren a while back. The reporter asked why he is so interested in preserving the environment even though he is a Christian. Rick Warren answered that humans have a responsibility to steward the environment.

The interviewer shot back, “No more than any other species.” BOOM. He just said his worldview. He’s a pagan and his worldview is animals and people are the same.

Your worldview will determine your character and what you pay attention to. As a Christian, you need to see the world how Jesus sees the world and respond as Jesus would respond.

You and I need to steward our worldview. When I go down to Belize, it’s not for vacation. I’m going because my worldview is Jesus Christ is a rescuer and He’s anointed me to set people free.

You need to ask yourself what you really believe and why. If you believe God is good, you’ll demonstrate His goodness. If you believe He redeemed your life, you’ll do your best to redeem others. So, the question remains: What’s your worldview?

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. – Romans 12:2

HEAVEN AWAITS…

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I love an open door. When you act prophetically to ignite the Holy Spirit to work on your behalf, Heaven invades earth and signs, miracles and wonders are released. Walk through the door. You have the keys and I will not close you out.

HEAVEN AWAITS YOUR FAITHFUL ACT

Prophetic acts are not only a powerful tool against the enemy, they build our faith in God and the reality of His promises.

Sometimes, when I don’t feel above something, I’ll stand on a chair and declare, “I am over this thing in the name of Jesus.”  Then, I get down before I break my stupid neck.

I often walk around with my prayer sword and go to battle over my family, our church, or my finances. There’s nothing magic about holding onto a sword, but as a prophetic act, I’m declaring in the spirit that I’m holding onto a much more powerful sword – the Word of God. I am taking it literally that the weapons of my warfare are not carnal, but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. It’s a prophetic act.

A prophetic act can hold spiritual power for fulfillment or breakthrough when the Holy Spirit directs it. Check out 2 Kings 13:14-20. Brother Elisha, who gets no respect, is laying on his deathbed and instead of the king showing up to him and saying, “I’m so sorry that you’re dying. I bless you and I want to help you,” crazy King Joash shows up whining, crying, and vexing the brother on his deathbed.

King Joash says the northern kingdom of Israel is being attacked and Elisha tells him, “Here’s the deal. Heaven is going to respond to the way you do this, so do what I tell you to do. Take an arrow and shoot it out the east window. It is the arrow of deliverance.” Joash does it.

Then, Elisha says, “Now take a whole handful of arrows and smash them to pieces the way God is going to smash the enemy’s army to pieces.”

Limp-wristed King Joash barely smashed the arrows. The word says he “struck the ground three times and stopped.” Angry and disappointed in the king’s lack of faith in God’s power to defeat a much larger enemy,  Elisha said, “Since you barely smashed the arrows, God is going to barely smash these armies.”

What brother Elisha is saying is, “Heaven is watching what we do, and with the same measure we put into it, heaven will respond.” Joash didn’t put very much into it and the word says, Israel was invaded by that enemy in the spring. This is the fruit of a lack of faith.

Do you believe heaven is awaiting your act of faith? Do you believe there is power in the word through declaration, proclamation and decreeing the will of God? The Word says there is. Activate it. Bring heaven to earth and defeat the enemy through the power of prophetic acts. Heaven awaits your faithful act.

“The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder. Then he shall open, and no one shall shut. And he shall shut, and no one shall open.” – Isaiah 22:22

FRIEND OF GOD?

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

Do not confuse yourself with My angels. They are My servants. You are My beloved child and My friend. While service to others is important, My highest desire is for you to experience My presence through giving My love to others as you serve. Come up higher, friend.

FRIEND OF GOD?

There’s a big difference between being servants and friends. That’s the difference between Martha and Mary. Martha was okay with being the servant of God, but Mary upgraded to being the friend of God.

If you’re not careful, your focus on task and achievement will interfere with the secret place. That was Martha’s problem. It’s easy to be a Martha and get lost in getting things done, even in serving, and forget to love on the people you’re serving.

There’s been a horrible thing people have done throughout the centuries with servants and slaves. Slavers almost always molest their slaves. Well, God doesn’t do that to His servants. God is not intimate with His servants and the Bible even says so.

“No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.” – John 15:15

Yes, we’re servants of the Lord, but we don’t serve Him from a lowly place. We serve Him as kings and priests. Jesus is the greatest servant of all and He owns everything. Not only does Jesus own everything, He shares His inheritance with us. You and I as believers are joint heirs with Jesus.

When Martha was serving the Lord at her house, she was not His slave. She cooked and cleaned out of love. Her sister, Mary, may not have been cooking and cleaning, but she served the Lord in a different, more intimate way. She spent time with Him. She sat at His feet. She listened to His words and talked with Him.

That, my friends, is upgrade. She chose to do more than wait on the Lord’s physical needs, which is great, don’t get me wrong. It’s going after His heart that matters. That’s what Mary did. So, are you a Mary or a Martha? Do you find yourself doing or do you want to closely experience the presence of the Lord?

Today, I double dog dare you to go after the heart of the King. Serve someone and love on them while you do it. When you do, the Word says you’re doing it as unto Jesus Himself. That’s friendship!

BETTER IS NEVER EASIER

TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

I could control everything. I Am that I Am. However, I want you as a partner. I want your cooperation, willingly. I have given you the gift of free will. Love requires freedom.

THE GIFT OF FREE WILL

There is the will of God that is fixed and permanent, and there is the will of God in which we play a part. You need to understand how this works.

A good example of a sure thing is Jesus is coming back and you ain’t gonna stop Him. He’s coming back. You can believe, you can not believe; it doesn’t matter. Jesus is coming back.

Then there’s also the will of God – His heart’s desire being carried out. It’s about His plan for your life being carried out. There are tons of variables in that – tons. There are issues of faith, issues of warfare, knowing the Word of God, praise and worship as a weapon – this is just the start.

There are environments to avoid, the power of declaring and decreeing, and the power of binding and loosing. There’s being connected and in partnership with the right people, and there are principles of pulling down and casting down. There’s also the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus, the word of your testimony and the blood of the Lamb.

When it comes to finding your identity, going after your Kingdom purpose and destiny, there is kinds of stuff involved in the process depending upon our willingness to cooperate with God. It’s all about being sold out to His heart being revealed in any situation.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. – Deuteronomy 30:19

You have been given a choice to live as you see fit, or to chase after God’s dream for your life – the plan He had for you since the beginning of time. It’s not easy. Better is never easier, but it is better. The easy way is not always the right way. In fact, it rarely ever is.
