You’re No Stranger
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER
Hebrew 12:25 – See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven
The Father is communicating His message of Jesus’ return to every tribe, race, and language, in every location throughout time frame writing it in picture, name and number form throughout the heavens. You are called to be a king who searches out the matter. He wants to reveal more of Himself to you today.
Declaration: I‘m ready and my heart is open for the Spirit of the Lord to come to me. I’m a seeker of the heart of God.
YOU’RE NO STRANGER
There’s a big difference between being a servant and being a son. While we’re all servants of God because we do His work on this earth, it’s His great pleasure to make us sons and daughters – joint heirs with His Son, Jesus.
Now if we are children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. – Romans 8:17
One of the many things you and I do all the time is pray like we’re orphans, not heirs. We all know how to pray according to anxiety. I’m guilty of this, too. When we pray from anxiety, we’re not praying from a position of authority. We’re begging like orphans who have no relationship to the Father.
Do you know what? That grieves His heart. It really does! When we do that, we question His goodness toward us.
When you are saved, you have the relationship and right standing to run to the Lord as our Father. I promise you, He will love on you and He will help you. You’re no stranger. You’re family.

You Won’t Be Disappointed
Job 12:24 – He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, And makes them wander in a pathless wilderness.
Nobody likes the wilderness, but there is something there that can’t found anywhere else: Intimacy, trust and confidence in the Lord. What you discover in hard places will not only get you out of the wilderness, it will also get the enemy out of your Promised Land.
Declaration: I will not run from the wilderness. I will find the Lord in the wild places and learn to serve Him there.
YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTEDCities in the Bible represent different things. Bethlehem is the place where Jesus is born and it represents incredible disappointment.
I travel to the Pacific Northwest fairly often. There’s a place on the Pacific Ocean in Oregon called Cape Disappointment. It’s the place where Lewis and Clark finally found the ocean.
Cause for celebration? Hardly! They thought there was going to be somebody there and there wasn’t so they named it Cape Disappointment. Just like that, Bethlehem is a place that represents when God says something is going to be awesome, then you dive down into a pit thinking, “I thought it was going to be better than this.”
Mary, mother of Jesus, likely asked that question. I can imagine her thinking, “I thought good things were going to happen. I thought You said I was blessed. This doesn’t seem like I’m blessed to me. My baby is born in a barn. My husband has been shamed and dishonored. I have been thrown out with the animals and You said I was the most highly favored woman on the planet earth. How does that work?”
Nobody escapes that. Every single one of us goes through terrible things when we thought things were going to be better. Nobody knows that better than Jesus Himself.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
Jesus is always born in these kinds of situations. God loves to bless a horrible mess. What needs to be born in your life? Don’t get discouraged when all hell breaks loose. That’s the sign that Jesus is fixing to show up, and believe me, you won’t be disappointed!

Tower of the Flock
Proverbs 12:23 – A prudent man conceals knowledge, But the heart of fools proclaims foolishness.
In real life, we often don’t have the right response at the right time. We don’t know how to answer. Most times, it’s smart not to say anything at all. Ask King Jesus how you should think before you speak–if you need to speak at all.
Declaration: I will not speak foolishness. I will speak from the understanding that I am saved and am the property of the Lord.
TOWER OF THE FLOCKThere’s an obscure prophecy about the birth of Jesus that’s not just about the town of Bethlehem, it nails down Messiah’s birth to the square foot. You might not have heard this before, but it’s in the book of Micah.
“And you, O tower of the flock, the stronghold of the daughter of Zion, to you shall it come, even the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.” – Micah 4:8
It’s a prophecy that the Messiah would be born not only in Bethlehem, but in the “Tower of the Flock.” So, what is that?
The Tower of the Flock belonged to Shepherd’s Field – the same exact field where David grew up watching sheep and having crazy cool encounters with God. You need to know, the shepherds in this field were not normal. They were part of the Levitical priesthood.
Their job was to watch as lambs were born. If a lamb had no spot or blemish, it was worthy for sacrifice. If it was spotless, they swaddled it – they wrapped it up to protect it from getting bruised.
Let me tell you what they wrapped it in. They wrapped it up in the bloody priestly garment. Why? Whenever they took a lamb to be sacrificed, there might have been hundreds of Levitical priests out slaughtering animals. Every time their garments were spotted, they had to change.
So what do you do with all those robes? You rip them up and use them as wicks in the Menorah of the house of God. The light that was burning was lit by the blood-stained garments of the priests. There’s a huge revelation in that.
They also used them to wrap newborn lambs, then take them to the Tower of the Flock. They laid the lambs down, then lit a fire on top of the tower to let the priests know there was a lamb worthy to be slain.
Connect the dots. Jesus was born in the Tower of the Flock – where the priests placed lambs worthy to be slain. And a star arose on the top of it – a supernatural fire – that came from heaven saying, “There is One who is supernatural, not just to hide the sins of the world, but to take away the sins of the world.”
Now it makes sense that the angels appeared to the shepherds. It was their job to let everybody know a lamb worthy to be slain has been born! They were the only ones truly qualified.
So, on Christmas morning, the angels of the Lord show up to them and say, “Listen, I’ve got great news for you! Good tidings, good will to men…You will find the Child wrapped in swaddling clothes laying in a manger.”
You gotta know the shepherds knew exactly where that was because they went there all the time! They ran to the Tower of the Flock, which was prophesied 700 years earlier. Now, here’s the difference between Jesus and all those thousands of spotless lambs.
Jesus wasn’t laying where all the other lambs were. He was laying in the feeding trough where they fed the other lambs. Why? Because He is the Bread of Life from John 6:35! Hallelujah! Like manna, Jesus is an indescribable gift from heaven. Let Him fill your life today so you will never be hungry for goodness or mercy ever again.

Taste and See
Luke 12:22 – Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.”
When you think about all the mess of this life, stop and look upon Jesus. Remember how dedicated He has been to you. Grab onto the revelation of perfect love. God will meet you in the middle of your mess. Be blown away by His awesome love for you.
Declaration: Nothing can separate me from the love of God. I will not be influenced by this world, but trust and hope in Him.
TASTE AND SEEDo you remember the manna that fell from heaven? It was bread that couldn’t be defined or explained. It was supernatural but natural at the same time. Like the Bible foretold, a baby was born in Bethlehem. He was supernatural and natural at the same time – 100 percent God and 100 percent man.
“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” – 2 Corinthians 9:15
The name Bethlehem means “house of bread.” That’s pretty profound, isn’t it? That’s a big deal. Why would the Messiah be prophetically called to be born in a city called “the house of bread”? Because He is supernatural and natural at the same exact time and that’s what manna was.
Manna is a type and a shadow for Jesus Christ. It’s something that shows up every single day of your life and you don’t know where it comes from or how it’s even there and your life is good because of that.
“…I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” – John 6:35
Because Jesus is there, you go through things that should kill you, but they don’t because this power of God shows up on a daily basis and manifests. You know how to walk it out, but you don’t know how to explain it to anybody.
Isn’t it amazing how coming to God is what satisfies us, and believing in the Lord is what satisfies our thirst? Taste and see that the Lord is good. Drink deep and know that Jesus is our indescribable gift.

Family Ties
Romans 12:21 – Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
It‘s lazy to become impressed with evil and do nothing about it. Evil wants to paralyze us with depression, anxiety, and fear, but it doesn’t have to remain. Courage, commitment, and faithfulness can bring light into dark places. God called us to be Holy Ghost gremlins to the mechanics of evil. Introduce the goodness of King Jesus into every scary place you come across.
Declaration: When the noise of hell speaks, I’m a conversation stopper. I bring hope, life, and truth into every situation. I am a life-breather. I will not speak or listen to words of death.
Family TiesI told you Christmas isn’t for wimps and it’s true. Mary and Joseph were no pansies. If you thought your family was whack over the holidays, just know Joseph’s family took the prize for dysfunctional. That doesn’t mean he didn’t love them. He probably did, just like you and I love the knuckleheads in our family.
I can imagine Joseph talked about his family the whole way to Bethlehem – 70 miles across rocky terrain. I’m sure he was excited for Mary to meet them. They finally arrive and there are two things going on. First, the city is so packed they have to fight to get to the family.
Second, when the Bible says there was no room at the inn, that means there was no room with the family. The Hebrew word used for inn means “guest room.” Think about that. The family actually turns them out. They didn’t go to a wedding, so why is that woman pregnant? What’s that all about? Well, it’s a God thing! They probably thought Joseph had lost his mind. Talk about family ties that bind!
Abandoned by the ones who should have loved and protected them, Mary and Joseph found a place with the sheep. Mary gave birth by herself – without the guidance and wisdom of the women in her family – in a filthy place surrounded by animals and clueless husband.
She was such a good girl and she ended up shamed by Joseph’s family. I can’t imagine the pain Joseph endured over his beautiful young wife that he loved with all his heart being rejected. What does it mean to you if your family says, “No, we can’t take care of your pregnant wife. As a matter of fact, you guys belong with the animals.”
Have you been there? Shamed, rejected, even despised by the very people who should love and accept you? I have and I promise you, so has Jesus – from the very day He was born.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. – Isaiah 53:3
Know this: Jesus was born to take away your shame and restore you to His family. We are accepted, not rejected, by our heavenly Father and our awesome big brother. Are you part of the family?

Of Old, From Everlasting…
1 Samuel 12:20 – Then Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart.”
Believe it or not, you can be loyal to King Jesus in the midst of your sin. When all hell is breaking loose is your life, don’t walk off the blessed reservation because you think you’ve gone too far. Like King David, repent and run to your Father in heaven. Serve Him in hard places and He will reward your loyalty.
Declaration: I will not fall out or lose focus. Even in the midst of my sin, I will be loyal to Jesus and stay on His team.
Of Old, From Everlasting…Jesus was God Almighty in flesh form. My how the angels must have been amazed! To know the ultimate God of the universe, then see Him do something as audacious as to become a tiny baby in a teenager’s womb. That must have blown their minds.
Well, that’s what I want to do today – blow your mind. Usually, when we read this amazing prophecy, we focus on Bethlehem, the place Jesus would be born. I want to show you something else today – something hidden right in front of us.
“But you Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” – Micah 5:2
Isn’t it interesting that there are two different timelines? “From old,” which is a natural timeline, and “everlasting,” which is a supernatural timeline. The prophet is saying the Messiah going to be natural and supernatural at the same exact time.
He’s also talking about eternity versus time. The Word who created time and space would make Himself subject to time and space. Eternity came into time and it was a game-changer because it also made eternity possible again for man.
Do you see it? My how the angels marveled at the wisdom, the sacrifice and the sheer beauty of the creator redeeming His fallen creation. Are you fallen today? Is there an area of your life that needs a heavenly touch? Jesus is the answer from “of old, from everlasting.”

Cleaning House
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER
Romans 12:19 – Beloved do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
Jehovah Nissi is one of the 16 God names listed in the Old Testament and one you need to learn to call upon. The “Lord is our Banner” raises His personal war flag over us, meaning the King Himself is fighting in our battlefield.
Declaration: I call to my defense Jehovah Nissi, who is fighting for me. The battle belongs to the Lord. Period.
Cleaning HouseAll of us go through terrible things – times we thought things were going to be better than they were. But Jesus is always born in these kinds of situations. God loves to bless a horrible mess.
If anything is messy, it’s family. If you’re disappointed in your family dynamic, or you find yourself completely alone – it’s always been like that. Even the very first family was a terrible mess – remember Cain and Abel?
Just so you know, Jesus’ family was no different. When Mary turned up pregnant but none of the relatives had been to a wedding, the judgment began. Bad blood was stirred up. They threw Joseph and his beautiful bride to the animals.
It wasn’t the way it was supposed to be, yet the greatest miracle the world has ever seen outside of the resurrection happened in the midst of that terrible mess.
My friends, I want to encourage you that family is not for wimps. No matter how bad things get, know that Jesus loved his family despite the times they disappointed him. His mom, brothers and sisters actually tried to have him committed!
Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.” – Mark 3:20-21
That’s whack! However, when His own family didn’t believe in Him, Jesus didn’t give up on them. Just like the masses crowding that room, He knew they needed a savior. So does your crazy family. Introduce them to Jesus. He’s good at cleaning house.

The House of Bread
Proverbs 12:18 – He who speaks truth declares righteousness, But a false witness, deceit.
Facts and truth are not the same. Facts without the truth lead to deception. The fact is you gotten a bad report from the doctor. The truth ism Jesus is greater. He heals, restores, and does the impossible. The facts change from day to day, but truth is eternal. Displace the lies of the enemy with God’s truth and advance the kingdom.
Declaration: God is giving a new beginning today. I will believe His righteous report over anything else. I am a Holy Ghost fact checker!
The House of BreadAt Christmas, I like to thank God for His indescribable gift of Jesus. But there’s something else in the Bible that is indescribable, and that’s manna.
“And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as the frost on the ground. So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was…And the house of Israel called its name Manna. And it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.” – Exodus 16:14-15, 31
The word “manna” literally means, “What is it?” It was bread that fell from heaven and couldn’t be defined or explained. It was supernatural and natural at the same time.
Exactly like the Savior the Bible foretold would be born in Bethlehem. That baby would be supernatural and natural at the same exact time – 100 percent God and 100 percent man at the same exact time. Jesus was a natural piece of “bread” that didn’t come from earth. He actually came from heaven, and He was born in what city? Bethlehem.
“But you Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” – Micah 5:2
The name Bethlehem means “house of bread.” That’s a big deal. So why was it prophesied that Messiah would be born in a city called the “house of bread”? Because He is supernatural and natural at the same time – just like manna.
Manna is a type and a shadow for Jesus Christ. It’s something that shows up every single day of your life and you don’t know where it comes from, how it got there, but He’s there and your life is good because of that. You go through things that ought to kill you, but this power of God that shows up on a daily basis and manifests – well, you know how to walk it out, but you don’t know how to explain it to anybody.
Well, that’s Jesus. He said it himself in the book of John:
“…I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” – John 6:35
He, like manna, is an indescribable gift from Heaven. This Christmas, thank God for the gift of Jesus!

Get With the Program
Revelation 12:17 – And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
From the very beginning, there was war between the Devil and the children of God. Many are terrified by the dragon. But here is the truth about dragons: they are not real. The meanest, scariest form of the enemy is boloney. Don’t waste your time being a professional dragon slayer. Be a mighty giant slayer. Giants in the land are real.
Declaration: I will not fight what is not real. I’m a giant slayer who knows the plans and purposes of God are to do good and glorify Him.
Get With the ProgramYou need to be famous for who you stand with – Who you stand for. That is the Jesus Christ way of doing things. Amen.
So the angel of the Lord shows up to Joseph, not in person but in a dream. That’s very interesting because the angel of the Lord showed up to Mary in person but he showed up to Joseph in a dream. And the angel tells Joseph this is real and he needs to get with the program. Boom. Dream over.
Joseph wakes up and knows this is real. Again, the character of Mary and Joseph is so different. God doesn’t have to perform a hundred miracles for them to get with the program. They immediately recognize what and where God is, and get into alignment for their assignment.
Mary and Joseph could be trusted with this thing and there has probably never been two other human beings God could trust with this miraculous birth the way that He was able to trust Mary and Joseph. Can God trust you like that? Or does He have to jump through a thousand hoops and send dozens of confirmations to get you to cooperate with Him?
Mary cooperated by saying yes despite the possibility of being stoned to death by those who would not believe her, including her beloved Joseph. Joseph got with God’s program. He not only spared Mary, but took the ridicule, shame, and weight of every accusation upon his own shoulders.
They are famous for who they stood with – each other – and who they stood for – Jesus, son of God Almighty. Can the same be said of you? Stand for Jesus. Get with God’s program for your life and walk in your destiny. I promise it will be indescribable!
“But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.” – 1 Peter 5:9

Just Like Joseph
TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS
Romans 12:16 – Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
There should be absolutely no place for class envy inside the church. We should be of the same camp. Don’t be a know-it-all. Don’t promote yourself over your brothers and sisters. Make Jesus famous instead.
Declaration: I will make Jesus famous today. All credit and honor belong to Him. I will glorify Him in me and through my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Just Like JosephIn my opinion, Joseph is one of the greatest heroes who ever lived. I can’t imagine the disappointment in Joseph’s life. He thought he knew Mary, but she turned up pregnant and the baby wasn’t his.
Joseph had the right to tell everyone, then the Sanhedrin council, Pharisees and his family would have put her up against the wall and stoned her and her unborn baby to death. He could have stood back crying and thinking that that was the only way for him to have honor in his life.
Matthew’s genealogy shows that Joseph was heir to the throne. As royal blood, he was a different caliber of human being even though he’s poor and unknown. He is a man of honor.
“Then Joseph her husband, being a just man and not willing to make her a public example, He sought to put her away privately.” – Matthew 1:19
Joseph knew he was going to take a bad rap from everyone, including his family. He knew he would be the object of rumor and scorned by the religious authorities. He loved Mary, but he thought she’d lost her mind. Still, he couldn’t let her die in shame.
That is the mark of an awesome man of God. He wasn’t going to form a mob or get on Facebook and say, “look at this horrible thing this person has done.” When you walk in the love of God you tend to cover up the sins of other people.
You tend to try to make things right and that’s exactly what Joseph did. That’s a good word, especially for this Christmas season. You’re going to come across people – family, friends, people you work with – who are galactically stupid. They will scorn wise advice and godliness. They will do and say self-destructive things, but you don’t need to get on Facebook and pronounce your profound disagreement with them.
Just be all about the Kingdom. Listen, if you’re famous for who you stand against, you’re fighting the wrong battle. Speak life into those knuckleheads. Love them and protect their reputations even when they don’t. Pray for them and continually bring Jesus into their lives. Make things right, just like Joseph.
