About the Author



Patricia began her writing career by keeping a diary as a young girl and continues throughout her life to keep reflective journals. She published this memoir as a celebration of her sisters life and is currently working on two other memoirs. One is on her recovery from trauma and surviving violent crime twice. The other is about Alzheimers disease, the disease that took her mothers life the year before her sister died.
Patricia is in a research study at Mayo Clinic/Scottsdale for Alzheimers and is active in the community speaking out on women and violence for research on both of these books.
