A Painful Post.

[image error]If I could, I'd bury the following review, not because the reviewer didn't like the book,

she did…she gave the book a recommended read…

but because of her choice of one single word and its connotations.

Running with toilet paper!

It's a real crowd-pleaser!

My puppy, Jake, has discovered that if all else fails, he can sneak into a bathroom, grab a roll of toilet paper and prance through the house.  That's a sure way to get yourself a major game of chase!  He's such a little devil!  My cat, Yoshi, does the same thing, only he grabs it, rolls onto his back, and rips the toilet paper to shreds with his claws.  Toilet paper…who knew such a simple thing could provide your pets with hours of entertainment?

[image error]My contest is running through Monday – you can win a copy of any of my books.  Beauty and the Feast is a delicious read…you know you're hungry enough to eat that book up!  Yum.

So hubby and I were talking about Steampunk and he says he's read Steampunk – The Lost Regiment Series,, by William R. Forstchen.  There's a story behind this.  A patient of his gave him the first book, and then every month for nine months gave him another, until the patient, sadly, died.

I won't post any photos or videos.  This day was awful, the worst thing to happen in my lifetime and I hope to god the worst thing to happen in my kids' lifetimes.  I was awake, about to get the kids out of bed for school, when my mother phoned and told me a plane had hit one of the towers of the World Trade Centers and I should turn on the TV.  I did, in time to watch the second plane hit.  I remember falling to the floor in shock, my legs simply wouldn't hold me because I knew what was...
