Maruo graduated from junior high school in March 1972 but dropped out of senior high school. At the age of 15 he moved to Tokyo and began working for a bookbinder. “The world is a freakshow for my peeping eye's delight.”
Suehiro Maruo, Ultra-Gash Inferno

“During my boyhood, I once happened to taste some shit. Of course, it was my own. The French Author Jean Genet writes, ‘Filth abhors filth.’ Genius. When I was a a child and I wanted to shit, I went home – even if I was playing at a neighbor’s house. Even now, I can’t do it at a station toilet or a park toilet. Anyway, about the taste of that shit–it’s actually more bitter than foul-smelling. If you think I’m lying, try it for yourself.”
Suehiro Maruo, Ultra-Gash Inferno

“When you squint at the sun, you see it's cosmic cock”
