DESIRE by ROSEMARY WILLHIDE. Why it should be on your 'Must-Read List'
If you love BDSM books with feisty heroines, swoon-worthy heroes, suspense, humour and jaw-
dropping sex scenes, then DESIRE by Rosemary Willhide is the book for you.
This unputdownable read will soon become a firm favourite with many.
Darcy Lockhart is named after her gran’s favorite literary character in Pride and Prejudice, yet in her twenty-six years on earth, she’s struggled in vain to find any Jane Austen type romance. Her recent break up with her ex reads more like a Stephen King novel.
Fresh from her broken engagement with a pile of financial obligations looming, Darcy’s sturdy resolve to achieve true success is tested at every turn. Will she ever be good enough at anything?
When she happens upon Eli Reece, he is the spitting image of her namesake, Mr. Darcy, down to the proper British accent and cocky arrogance. Darcy and Eli hit it off like oil and water or as the British say, chalk and cheese. Despite Eli’s striking green eyes and sexy grin, Darcy finds his so-called charm and confidence annoying and deems him a buttmunch.
As the universe keeps tossing them together, Eli stumbles upon Darcy’s naughty little secret, her taste for kinky porn on Twitter. Eli is intrigued since he is a Dominant and part owner of BDSM club, The Purple Peacock.
Slowly, they morph from chalk and cheese to bondage and blindfolds. Eli Reece is an experienced Dom, the Master of Cane. Darcy Lockhart is a novice, struggling to find her way. Together they are an explosive force of unstoppable desire.
But will the dark desires that draw them together, also rip them apart?
PUBLISHER NOTE: This sensuous, BDSM Romance from Rosemary Willhide is full of suspense, angst, humor and dark desires. Darcy and Eli’s story can be read as a stand-alone or as part of the Vegas Edge series. M/F, BDSM. Full-length Contemporary BDSM Romance. 87,762 words.
Available from Amazon and all major online stores. Amazon

REVIEW: FINDING GOBI by Dion Leonard
Finding Gobi by Dion Leonard was a rewarding book to read. At first, it didn’t seem like a read for a grown up. After all, what could we possibly have in common? But, it turned out to be a real treat. This story was about not just finding a little dog lost in the Gobi Desert, but also a journey to finding oneself. Dion Leonard, an ultramarathon runner came across Gobi, a small stray dog in the Gobi desert. The little dog latched onto Dion no matter what during the 155-mile race. The terrain and race were grueling, but Gobi didn’t give up hope that she might one day be loved. Gobi changed Dion’s perception of the world and helped heal his past. Lovely descriptions throughout. Finding Gobi is a true story that warms one’s heart. ★★★★★ 5 Stars Thanks to #NetGalley for the review copy.

Jan Bowles – Where I Am
Hello, Everyone Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. A lot has happened during the last post I made and this one. I won’t bore you with the details, but suffice to say my muse has taken a nose dive, and only now, 3 – 4 years later am I feeling the tentative tinglings of a new book working its way into my mind, determined to be told. (Even if it takes a year or two to get it down on paper so to speak). I’m not ready to give up so easily. I was born with a creative mind, and I’m determined to do what I love best – create. After a drought of nearly 4 years, I have a long way to go. I’m being realistic, this may take a while. I hope you will all bear with me. In the meantime, I shall begin reviewing books and writing about them here. I have read some great books over the years, so why not talk about them here. I will share the good and the great with all the many friends I have made over the years. Thanks for listening Jan Bowles

Quit your hollering. You know it’s me.” The old hound’s incessant barking cut right through Brett Sinclair as he fumbled to get his key in the lock after drinking far too much yet again. It didn’t help that Biff was now fourteen years old and almost totally deaf, meaning that he was easily spooked. Back in the day, every other dog in the neighborhood had feared his faithful companion, but now, in the twilight of his life, Biff’s bark was definitely worse than his bite. Feeling the worse for wear, Brett finally pushed open the sturdy oak door to the ranch house to be greeted by his best friend. Despite the advancing years, Biff still found enough energy to jump up at him, his ragged tongue basting his neck with an enthusiasm that demonstrated how pleased he was to see his master again. “Yeah, yeah,...
