“Nothing,” stated Nell with loathing, “would induce me to marry Edmund! Or Thomas, for that matter.” “You forget. We’re talking about what would happen in the event of your death.” “What a cheerful subject,” she muttered. “Do you think we could change it?”

Cheers,
Karen :)

I'm so excited the book is coming out in Feb - I thought it was March, so it won't be such a long wait. Hooray, a month earlier!
The tagline for book two is: "One Boy, One Girl, One Plot to be Foiled"

I'm working hard on Ondine book two right now - lots of revisions to make it even better.
Ferrets are comedy gold. I'm pinching myself at how lucky I was to think of that!

im glad there is a second book, i cant wait to read it!!

And I am glad you're glad you made me cry.
I know what you mean about crying. I sometimes weep like a baby while I write and torment my brain-babies.
Ohh, I can't wait to see what brings Ondine 2. I miss Hamish's Scottish accent already. But till then I'll be spreading the Ondine love here in Romania. And reading the book again.
Fruitful writing ^_^
Mary

lovely emails like yours are an author's dream come true.
I am delighted you enjoyed Ondine so much. I'm kind of glad I made you cry - because I cried in some parts as I wrote it. :-) Happy tears.
I am working with my editor now to make Ondine 2 even better, with more laughs and yet more tears.
Thank you very much,
Love Ebony

I simply loved your book. I laughed and I even cried a little with Ondine throughout the story. My heart is just pure fluff now after I finished it.
It was fantastic. Thank you for this great book and I can't wait a new adventure.
I will keep my eyes on you on the blog. ^_^

oh wow, that is such a fabulous comment. Thank you so much!
I am flat out revising the next Ondine book right now, so I won't give it away . . . but it's taking off where the first book ends.
I am very new to goodreads so I haven't put much up on here. But from what I've seen, it's a wonderful community of book lovers. I am going to feel right at home here.
