Editing Process

I just finished editing my book! Ok, let me clarify, I just finished the first edit. Wow, I had no idea how this worked.

So I sent it to an independant contractor, named Kimiko, who agreed to help me out. She edited chapter by chapter, sending comments and ideas for how to improve my book and my writing. Small things like spelling out the numbers (why does that matter? who knows) and larger things like scenes that weren't convincing and questions she had after reading it. And even larger thin...

The Mark

My first book is being published! The release date is March 8, 2010. Right now the book is being edited - fun process. So far we've changed the title (the one I had chosen was taken), how my name would be used, the beginning, the ending, and bits and pieces in the middle. Wow. Who knew it took so much work to get it right! I don't think it will every time but since this is my first book...you know.

Exciting stuff. Now, in addition to working on revisions I am beginning to plan for publicity - ...
