Nice review and vote for Luke

Luke had a nice review from The Romance Studio . I was especially touched by the suggestion of a first time m/m book for someone. Yeah. That's cool.

Anyway, if you enjoyed it and would like to vote for it, it's up here .

The Wanderer on the coming soon page

I saw today that my historical western The Wanderer is on the coming soon page at LI here so I updated my website with a page for the book and a brand new excerpt. Also updated the coming soon page. You can see that on http://janirvingwrites.com/

I'm happy Christine Griffin will be doing the cover art. Can't wait to see it.

This week's sale

This week's sale, which I think is the last one this summer is for contemporary and romantic suspense titles so Wylde, Born to be Wylde (just out) and Sylvan are all on sale here .

Whew, just finished a very intense chapter of Jesse, my upcoming contemporary western. It's longer than Luke and Sylvan, but kind of like those stories. Maybe I'll post an excerpt sometime soon.

Special celebration of The Contenders

Sometimes the books can bring special things to your life. For me, almost as soon as The Janitor came out, I met Jambrea Jo Jones, who read it and has been a fairy godfriend since then. She's read and betaed some of my stories, such as Sam's Reviews and Ardent and The Wanderer.

She has a celebration post of The Contenders up today. She even found photographs to fill in for the boys. If you love Dane and Noel and want to know more about their world, check out her post today and also for a chanc...

Little snippet from The Fighter, book three in the Contender series

Here is a wee snippet of The Fighter, a story I'd like to do next in The Contenders series, this one focused on Ross Moore, introduced in The Boxer. Don't read this if you haven't read the first two books as it contains spoilers. Enjoy the taste.
To be a champion, you have to believe in yourself when nobody else will--Sugar Ray Robinson

Ross Moore woke with cooling tears on his cheeks.

He sat up on Charlie’s old brown couch, feeling the ache of bruises, and his heart started pounding...

The Boxer is out!

Former boxer Dane Connelly faces losing it all, everything he fought for in The Janitor. He's hiding problems with his fight-damaged eyesight from his uptown lover, Noel Atherton. How can he be a man for him if he can't see to fight or to paint? And now the vicious killer Narone, who almost broke him in the ring, is out on parole, looking for payback. Dane is desperate to protect the man he loves.

But Noel has had enough of sleeping alone in their empty bed, aching for Dane, so he devises...

Sharing a hot snippet from Born to be Wylde

I'm sharing a hot snippet from my just-released novella Born to be Wylde. Enjoy!

Deputy Ken Ito wakes up from a nightmare in a strange place—a cave in the woods of the Pacific Northwest, cared for by a beautiful young man with long hair that smells of cedar. As he heals from an assault, Ken wants Wylde's body to cover his, feeling like he's lost in one of the captive-captor romances he used to sneak from his mother.

But Ken has to get back to his life and find out who targeted him. He was...
