My final post of 2020!

I am aware that this post is overdue but when you read what was going on, you’ll forgive this late post. Early December, while searching high and low for hot rollers for my daughter, we discovered mold in our downstairs closet which was caused by a leak in our 2nd-floor bathroom. I have a new … Continue reading My final post of 2020! Read more of this blog post »

Anna, wake up (Literature & Fiction)
1 chapters   —   updated Mar 11, 2013 11:22PM
Description: A beautiful short and inspirational story about Anna; a young mother trapped in an abusive relationship and the very unique way she gathers enough strength and bravery to trust herself and change her life.
My Oldest Memory (Nonfiction)
1 chapters   —   updated Nov 27, 2009 12:27PM
Description: Since writing this piece in the, “Child as the narrator" form, I have a new appreciation for the memories that young children make and keep. Based on my point of view in the memory, I believe that I am no more than 20-months-old. A great writing example and a great read for anyone who dares to underestimate the memory retention of infants and toddlers. For adults 18+ for drug reference. Enjoy

Stacy is on page 134 of 658 of Midnight Sun: I have clawed my way to page 134 but can not go on. I can't get past the slow pacing (in spots), which could have been alleviated with some line/copy editing.

I wish I had the word doc so that I could edit/enjoy the story. Sadly I won't be wasting any more time on this one.

I've been salivating to read this ever since that partial first draft of the original Midnight Sun got leaked years ago.
