Outline for book 2 is coming along nicely!
I've been hard at work outlining the next book in Malfus's journey. I still have some more to figure out before I can dive in and really start writing, but I'm reallly excited in the direction things are going so far!
Things I can promise so far... (some spoilers ahead if you haven't read Malfus: Necromancer Unchained.)
1. This book will be a lot longer than the first one.
I plan on exploring a lot more of the lands of Ossoria over a longer period of time than the first book. At a minimum I expect this book to be 50% bigger than the first, in actuality, it might be twice as long!
2. A deeper dive into Malfus's past.
Although the story will be taking place after the events of the first book, I also plan on having some interludes or flashbacks that explore more of Malfus's past while he was still an apprentice at the Akkadian magic academy, before he learned necromancy, and before everything happened with Kiara.
3. More POVs and an exploration of the larger world.
To tell the story I want to tell, there will be a few more POVs besides just Malfus. Malfus will still be the star of the show of course, but there will be some other POVs besides just his. (Don't worry, not all of them will die.) It will also be exploring a lot more of the world of Ossoria.
4. More magic!
More cool necromancy for Malfus to learn as he gets stronger! Also there will be some other schools of magic in this book as well, but I won't say anything more here. :)
5. More artwork!
Working with Dejan Delic to do the illustrations for Malfus has been one of my favorite parts. I plan on working with him again and potentially having even more than last time!
6. More of you know who... she who shall not be named.
Well, spoiler tags don't seem to work here so I just won't say anything else. IYKYK
I have done some writing for the next book already, but am still in the outlining phases, so I have no idea yet when the next book will be coming. It will be at least another year or more, but I am in the saddle and working on it everyday!

Sprayed Edge Update!!
Here are some better pictures of the sprayed edge versions of Malfus! These are the different versions I am doing. I'm trying one more with red background and black skulls.

Learning to do sprayed edges!
Check it out! I'm learning to do sprayed edges for my book Malfus! What do you think of the colors? I'm going to try black and red next. Once I can come up with something consistent I might find a way to make them available.
