Blogfests and The Weekend Follies
[image error]
Blogfests and Blog Hops: The last few months of 2012 ended with a flurry (winter and snow reference) of Blogfests. And this momentum looks like it will carry over into 2013. Talking with and emailing people the past ten days, I see there are a number of Blogfests on the immediate horizon from various sources.
This is a good thing! I think the days are gone where there were a smaller number of Mega-Blogfests. Moving forward I think there will be a lot of smaller to mid-sized Blogfests that fill...

L.G. Keltner’s Beginning Blogfest
[image error]
Today I’m participating L.G. Keltner’s Beginning Blogfest. And isn't this about one of the coolest Blogfest badges you've ever seen?
Basically: I'm sharing the events that inspired me to start blogging.
My Road To Blogging began after I decided to write by first book Breakthrough. I had a cheap looking Web site. But that was all. I had heard the term “blog.” I thought blogs were boring short articles people wrote on Websites. Like political opinions one would see in the newspaper. Or recipes. O...

Please Allow Me To Re-Introduce Myself ....
... I’m a man of science and faith.
Since it’s the first of another New Year, I thought I would re-introduce myself as there have been so many new bloggers entering the Blogosphere this past year. So I’ll give you a brief platform of what I’m all about.
Theory Of Everything: Basically, my thing is The Theory Of Everything (ToE), but with a twist. A yet to be discovered all-elusive ToE would be a single model that would unify the theory of the very big (general relativity) and the theory of the...

Hi everyone and welcome back! I hope you all had safe and happy holidays with family and friends. I extend to you health and prosperity to you and yours for 2013! May this be your best year ... at least until 2014 in which we will aim even higher.
ISWG: It’s that time again for Alex Cavanaugh’s ISWG, and what better way to kick off a new year than to face a major concern, then conquer it head on with the help of our blogging friends. [image error]

Guest Author Sabrina Sumsion
[image error]
When I first started in the publishing world, digital books were PDFs that authors tried to sell on a website. The concept of a book trapped in bytes confused and amused the masses. What value is there in a product you can’t hold in your hands? No serious author or publisher would consider making a book available online. Along came the Kindle and now, who could imagine a book without a digital release? Nook came along, Koby, Sony and Apple have rushed in to provide books digitally and authors...

Third Annual Children’s and MG Series and the Hobbit Blogfest
[image error]
Let’s begin with the Hobbit Blogfest:
What is your favorite hobbit characteristic/or the one that you think closely resembles you . . .? Bilbo Baggins. Simply because there was an awesome pub called Bilbo Baggins in Costa Mesa, CA when I was in my early and mid 20s. Great people. Darts and great tap beer. Pretzels. Live local bands. That place will always hold a special place in my heart.
If you could choose between a scrumptious second breakfast and a perilous unexpected journey – which woul...

Cheers, Alex Blogfest

The day of reckoning and judgment has arrived. The dark angel of … oh wait. That’s December 21, 2012's post. Today, it’s the Alexfest!
I’m a bit late, so here we go:
• In +/- 20 words, what does Alex look like?
Alex is six foot three, thin, shoulder length straight hair and fair skin. And he has on bad-ass guitar slung around his shoulder.
• In +/- 20 words, who couldplay Alex in a documentary? (Living or dead.)
Chase Manhattan, man of adventure, of course.
