On The Bolt Report and radio tonight

On The Bolt Report on Sky News Live at 7pm tonight:

Editorial - Malcolm Turnbull’s new terrorism laws shows he may finally get it.

My guests:

Sports economist Professor Bob Stewart on the Rio Olympics.  Is this going to be another financial disaster for a country already crippled by recession?  And why is Russia competing at all?

Former Howard Government minister Peter Reith on Labor’s bizarre reshuffle and the renewed attempt to stop...

Who let them into Germany?  UPDATE Suspected suicide bombing.

Another attack:

A Syrian man killed a woman with a machete and wounded two others Sunday outside a bus station in the southwestern German city of Reutlingen before being arrested. Police said there were no indications pointing to terrorism.

Police spokesman Bjoern Reusch told The Associated Press that witnesses said the 21-year-old asylum-seeker, who was known to police, was having an argument with the woman before attacking her about 4:30 p.m.

A...

Emails dump Clinton into a new trust deficit

The Left claims to represent a greater morality. Curiously, this seems to licence many on the Left to act evilly, on the playground assumption that their enemy is worse.

The latest evidence is the scandal of the Democrats machine helping Hillary Clinton by spreading slanders, lies and bigotry against her enemies - from Bernie Sanders to Donald Trump:

Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced Sunday she is stepping down as chairwoman of the Democratic National...

How to enthral a kelpie

My book is having a whale of a time without me, having been spotted already in London, Lake Como, Ithaca and by the Bay of Naples.  Now reader Bill sends this mystery picture which, from the co-ordinates he gives (56.019178, -3.755512), suggests he is just across the Firth from Andy Murray territory.

Google Map will reveal the nature of the beast.

To buy a copy for the animal in your life, go here. The delayed third edition of the Bolt Bulletin, sent to...

Eric Beecher publishes more vicious revenge porn from Guy Rundle

Eric Beecher runs Crikey, and preaches about the need for ”quality journalism”.

In practice, however, he hires Guy Rundle, a Greens supporter who repeatedly demonstrates the barbarity of the far Left.

Here is Rundle at his most vile this week:

The inauguration will be a fizzer — staring Jon Voight and Charo, with music by two-fifths of Blue Oyster Cult — with a shit speech by Trump about his resort and some recent enemies, and appearances by...

Yet another home invasion by people of no description

Once again, police fail to describe the offenders. Why not?

Southern Metro investigators, as part of Operation Cosmas, are investigating an aggravated burglary which occurred in Springvale earlier this morning.

Police believe four to five offenders gained entry to the Heather Grove home by breaking a front window about 1.45am.

As the offenders were breaking into the house a male occupant woke his family, his wife, three children and father-in-law and...

The Sydney Morning Herald fails to correct Farrelly’s filthy defamation

On Saturday I sent this letter to the Sydney Morning Herald, asking for it to be published in response to Elizabth Farrell’s filthy and dangerous defamation:

Elizabeth Farrelly (Our culture of separatism leads to a life of fear, July 23) falsely claims that my warning of a right-wing anti-Islam backlash in which “innocent Muslims will be hurt” was like Enoch Powell’s warning of blood in the streets in that it “verged similarly on glee”.

This is...

Wind power is killing South Australia

Green power will kill heavy industry in South Australia:

South Australia’s power crisis was a “wake-up call” for other states on the impact on consumers of subsidised renewable energy, particularly wind power, a Liberal senator has warned.

Chris Back called for a moratorium on new wind farms, and no more subsidies for wind energy generators until the Productivity Commission conducted a cost-benefit analysis of the effect the industry was having on...

Hanson not quite disproved

Chris Mitchell, former editor-in-chief of The Australian, attempts to prove Pauline Hanson wrong in linking terrorism to immigration policies:

This is how Hanson’s views on Islam should be handled. By looking at the facts.

Fact one: most recent domestic terrorism suspects and most high-profile recruits to ISIS in Syria were born in Australia. Think Khaled Sharrouf, Mohammed Elomar, Neil Prakash, Muhammad Ali Baryalei, Numan Haider.

In fact, Baryalei was...
