How to Save the World without Losing Your Mind
I’ve been obsessed with “saving the world” ever since I was a kid. As a result, I’m passionate about a lot of issues. Sustainability, health, and animal rights top the list, but those causes alone have seemingly endless facets. What I’ve come to recognize on a deep level is that we really can’t save the world without saving ourselves. More importantly, it’s not our job to save the world; it’s our job to love it.

Ban Pig Gestation Crates In New Jersey
Recently, Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey vetoed bill S.1921, which would have banned gestation crates for pigs in NJ. Had this bill passed, pregnant pigs would no longer be forced to live in metal cages, packed together so tightly that they have no room to turn around or even lie down. And what’s worse, 93 percent of New Jersey citizens were in favor of the ban. Wtf?
