Don't get me wrong, I still stalk my favorite groups and check in from time to time, but I have not had the three to four hours a day to dedicate to my online writing groups that I had in 2009 and some of 2010. Part o... Read more of this blog post »

Mary Magdalene: A New History (Science Fiction & Fantasy)
3 chapters   —   updated Dec 10, 2009 11:53AM
Description: Part one and two of a three part series of short stories revolving around the idea that Mary Magdalene is the protector of humanity and that vampires can only exist as long as their creator is in human form. If you are at all offended by religious figures being taken out of context you may not want to read this. If however you hate Christianity and view the Bible as a work of Fiction, you may love this or if you are somewhere in the middle hopefully you will enjoy this.
Poetry (Poetry)
5 chapters   —   updated Nov 03, 2009 10:11AM
Description: Random Haiku's and free verse.
The Best Movie Never Made: Population Control (Horror)
9 chapters   —   updated Sep 01, 2009 05:15PM
Description: I wrote a screenplay that was inspired by the Japanese film Battle Royale. As someone within the industry but as a novice writer with no literary representation, I decided that maybe I should try something different, so everyday I am going to post a new scene from the script and inevitably the whole thing will be up here for you to give me your thoughts and notes about it, and hopefully it will make the script better. Unfortunately these posts are not retaining the proper formatting, which is super annoying, I have written the script in Final Draft and everything is formatted correctly, if there is anyone out there who wants to read it, but this format is driving you nuts, let me know and I may send it to you in the proper format. WARNING: CONTAINS PROFANITY, SCENES OF A SEXUAL NATURE, and DESCRIPTIVE VIOLENCE. Definitely R-rated, bordering on NC-17 depending on how the MPAA feels that day. Synopsis: In the wake of the housing and stock market crash of 2009, California cedes from the nation and becomes a communist country with free housing and health care. As a result of these programs there is a population boom. To counteract the increase in population, the government starts the PRC Program which places a senior class onto Catalina Island and pits the students against one another in a death match, where there can only be one winner. The surviving class member receives a scholarship to the college of their choice.

“You're guaranteed to be lucky several times in your life-it's what you do with it. Young writers spend all their time worrying, in a way that David Gerrold did not and I did not. How do they get to meet the right people? How do they get to the right parties? If only someone would read my script... Forget all that. All these things are easy and will happen. The way you get your script to the right people is that you put it in an envelope. It's fucking easy. The difficult bit is writing something that is so good people will take a punt on a brand new writer. That's it-you have to write an absolutely terrific script.”
