Born and raised in "The Happiest Place on Earth," Erin Foster has been taught to always be on the lookout for a Prince who sings in perfect pitch to describe how he's feeling and is carrying a "Happily Ever After" in his back pocket. Realistically? She knows it's not happening, which is why she has turned her attention to fiction.

She holds a degree in Spanish Literature and Language and has spent time traveling the world to find the perfect settings for her novels. Hopping on a plane to spend a few weeks hunting out locales and taking creepy photos of sidewalks and brick patterns is not an uncommon pastime. She is also hopelessly addicted to NaNoWriMo spin-off writing challenges.

“Stay neurotic. Stay frustrated. Stay emotional. Stay excited. Your life is happening.”
Erin Foster

“Saying 'I notice you're a nerd' is like saying, 'Hey, I notice that you'd rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you'd rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the arrest record of Lindsay Lohan. Why is that?' In fact, it seems to me that most contemporary insults are pretty lame. Even 'lame' is kind of lame. Saying 'You're lame' is like saying 'You walk with a limp.' Yeah, whatever, so does 50 Cent, and he's done all right for himself.”
John Green

“What you do, the way you think, makes you beautiful.”
Scott Westerfeld, Uglies
