Julie writes Western Historical Romance. Her stories bring to life the code of ethics cowboys lived by and the dangers outlaws defied living by their guns. Often outspoken and temperamental, with their own sense of humor, Julie’s heroes share a common trait; the willingness to surrender his heart to the right woman and earn her love for eternity.

Julie was born and raised in upstate New York. She married her high school sweetheart and accompanied him on his twenty-year career with the United States Air Force. Currently, she makes her home in the Pikes Peak region, where she is a stay-at-home mom enjoying a career writing western historical romance.

In the late 80's, a friend introduced Julie to the romance genre. She was instantly hooked, a

Julie Lence **Just Released for .99 cents**

Christmas Hearts

After spending two years in Wyoming, Cade Weston is eager to return to his family’s ranch to celebrate the Christmas holiday. But fate intervenes in the form of a tortured soul—Nicole. Her guardian has abused her, leaving Cade with little choice but to pay for her freedom and take her with him. Holed up with her in a Denver hotel, a feeling hints he wants more from her than a thank you for having helped her. Problem is she doesn’t return the feeling.

Nicole Lamar has spent the past six months dreaming of freedom. Savannah, with its warmth and sunshine, beckons. Now that Cade has rescued her from an evil proprietor, that freedom is within reach. But when the handsome cowboy proves he’s the owner of a Christmas Heart, a life without him suddenly isn’t so desirable. Before she can approach him about the matter, he purchases a ticket for her on an eastbound train. And one for himself on a southbound train.

The book tour will be fun--stopping by sites on different days. The main work is done and sent back, and I enjoy meeting new people, if only for an hour.
Hope to see you at one of the sites.

Hugs to you,

Julie Lence Hi Lori:
It's good to hear from you. I'm doing well. I'm writing a short Christmas story. I hope to have it available on Kindle this December for the holiday season. I'm also doing an Internet book tour thru Black Lyon Virtual Tours. So far, it has been easy and fun; mostly answering interview questions for the sites. The tour launches in November. I'll let you know how it goes.

We've had some pretty days here in Colorado. The temps have finally cooled down from 90s and 100s. Had a cold spell this weekend and two nights of freezing temps. But the Aspens are gorgeous. I posted some pics on my Facebook page if you want to see, and one of the baby llama. He is really cute.

How are you? Are you writing? If so, what are you working on? It seems there is never enough time in the day to get everything done when it comes to writing.

I hope all is well with you and your family.

Hugs,
Juls
